Automated biomedical signal processing becomes an essential process to determine the indicators of diseased *** the same time,latest develop-ments of artiﬁcial intelligence(AI)techniques have the ability to manage and ana-lyzing massive amounts of biomedical datasets results in clinical decisions and real time *** can be employed for medical imaging;however,the 1D biomedical signal recognition process is still needing to be ***(ECG)is one of the widely used 1-dimensional biomedical sig-nals,which is used to diagnose cardiovascular *** assisted diag-nostic modelsﬁnd it difﬁcult to automatically classify the 1D ECG signals owing to time-varying dynamics and diverse proﬁles of ECG *** resolve these issues,this study designs automated deep learning based 1D biomedical ECG sig-nal recognition for cardiovascular disease diagnosis(DLECG-CVD)*** DLECG-CVD model involves different stages of operations such as pre-proces-sing,feature extraction,hyperparameter tuning,and classiﬁ*** the initial stage,data pre-processing takes place to convert the ECG report to valuable data and transform it into a compatible format for further *** addition,deep belief network(DBN)model is applied to derive a set of feature ***,improved swallow swarm optimization(IssO)algorithm is used for the hyper-parameter tuning of the DBN ***,extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)classiﬁer is employed to allocate proper class labels to the test ECG *** order to verify the improved diagnostic performance of the DLECG-CVD model,a set of simulations is carried out on the benchmark PTB-XL dataset.A detailed comparative study highlighted the betterment of the DLECG-CVD model interms of accuracy,sensitivity,speciﬁcity,kappa,Mathew correlation coefﬁcient,and Hamming loss.

Lactobacillus are considered promising therapeutic methods for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).The effects of two strains of Ltmosilactobacillus mucosae on NAFLD were investigated in this ***-old male C57BL/6J mice were divided into 4 groups(n=8 per group,Control,Model,FZJTZ26M3,FGsYC17L3).*** FZJTZ26M3 reduced the mice 's body weight,liver weight,and adipose tissue weight after 12 weeks of *** to serum analysis,total cholesterol,triacylglycerol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol significantly decreased after *** FZJTZ26M3 *** pathology showed that *** FZJTZ26M3 was effective to ameliorate lipid deposition in NAFLD ***,the expression of the gene related to lipid metabolism in the liver and adipose tissue was analyzed,and the results indicated that *** FZJTZ26M3 could alleviate NAFLD by regulating lipid ***,the results of 16s rRNA gene sequencing revealed a drop in the relative abundance of Ruminococcaceae,which is linked to inflammation,but the relative abundance of a potential probiotic Akkermansia significantly increased after *** FZJTZ26M3 ***,*** FZJTZ26M3 could be a candidate to prevent NAFLD.

End stage liver disease from hepatitis C is the most common indication for liver transplantation in many parts of the world accounting for up to 40% of liver transplants. Antiviral therapy either before or after liver transplantation is challenging due to side effects and lower efficacy in patients with cirrhosis and liver transplant recipients, as well as from drug interactions with immunosuppressants. Factors that may affect recurrent hepatitis C include donor age, immunosuppression, IL28 B genotype, cytomegalovirus infection, and metabolic syndrome. Older donor age has persistently been shown to have the greatest impact on recurrent hepatitis C. After liver transplantation, distinguishing recurrent hepatitis C from acute cellular rejection may be difficult, although the development of molecular markers may help in making the correct diagnosis. The advent of interferon free regimens with direct acting antiviral agents that include Ns3/4A protease inhibitors, Ns5 B polymerase inhibitors and Ns5 A inhibitors holds great promise in improving outcomes for liver transplant candidates and recipients.

second harmonic generation(sHG)and third harmonic generation(THG)microscopies have emerged as powerful imaging modalities to examine structural properties of a wide range of biological *** sHG and THG arise from very different contrast mechanisms,the two are complimentary and can often be collected simultaneously using a modified multiphoton *** this review,we discuss the needed instrumentation for these modalities as well as the underlying theoretical principles of sHG and THG in tissue and describe how these can be leveraged to extract unique structural *** provide an overview of recent advances showing how sHG microscopy has been used to evaluate collagen alterations in the extracellular matrix and how this has been used to advance our knowledge of cancers,fibroses,and the cornea,as well as in tissue engineering *** examples using polarization-resolved approaches and machine learning algorithms are ***,we review how THG has enabled developmental biology and skin cancer studies due to its sensitivity to changes in refractive index,which are ubiquitous in all cell and tissue ***,we offer perspectives and outlooks on future directions of sHG and THG microscopies and present unresolved questions,especially in terms of overall miniaturization and the development of microendoscopy instrumentation.

Gasification of biomass produces a syngas containing trace amounts of viscous hydrocarbon tar,which causes serious problems in downstream pipelines,valves and processing *** study focuses on the use of tire-derived pyrolysis char for tar conversion using biomass tar model compounds representative of *** catalytic decomposition of tar model compounds,including methylnaphthalene,furfural,phenol,and toluene,over tire char was investigated using a fixed bed reactor at a bed temperature of 700℃and 60 min time on *** influence of temperature,reaction time,porous texture,and acidity of the tire char was investigated with the use of methylnaphthalene as the tar model *** tar model compounds were found to have higher conversion than those containing a single or multi-aromatic *** reactivity of tar compounds followed the order of furfural>phenol>toluene>*** conversion of the model compounds in the presence of the tire char was much higher than tar thermal *** production increased dramatically with the introduction of tire *** H_(2)potential for the studied tar model compounds was found to be in the range of 40%–50%.The activity of tire char for naphthalene removal was compared with two commercial activated carbons possessing a very well-developed porous *** results suggest that the influence of Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area of the carbon on tar cracking is negligible compared with the mineral content in the carbon samples.

Tuberculosis(TB)is a severe infection that mostly affects the lungs and kills millions of people’s lives every *** can be diagnosed using chest X-rays(CXR)and data-driven deep learning(DL)*** of its better automated feature extraction capability,convolutional neural net-works(CNNs)trained on natural images are particularly effective in image cate-gorization.A combination of 3001 normal and 3001 TB CXR images was gathered for this study from different accessible public *** different deep CNNs(Resnet50,Resnet101,Resnet152,InceptionV3,VGG16,VGG19,DenseNet121,DenseNet169,DenseNet201,MobileNet)are trained and tested for identifying TB and normal *** study presents a deep CNN approach based on histogram matched CXR images that does not require object segmenta-tion of interest,and this coupled methodology of histogram matching with the CXRs improves the accuracy and detection performance of CNN models for TB ***,this research contains two separate experiments that used CXR images with and without histogram matching to classify TB and non-TB CXRs using deep *** was able to accurately detect TB from CXR images using pre-processing,data augmentation,and deep CNN *** histogram matching the best accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,precision and F1-score in the detection of TB using CXR images among ten models are 99.25%,99.48%,99.52%,99.48%and 99.22%*** histogram matching the best accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,precision and F1-score are 99.58%,99.82%,99.67%,99.65%and 99.56%*** proposed meth-odology,which has cutting-edge performance,will be useful in computer-assisted TB diagnosis and aids in minimizing irregularities in TB detection in developing countries.

AIM:To evaluate a new single-operator mini-endoscope, spyglass,for its performance,feasibility and safety in the management of pancreaticobiliary disease. METHODs:In a multicenter retrospective analysis of patients undergoing intraductal endoscopy,we evaluated 128 patients(71 men,mean age 57.6 years).Indications were therapeutic(TX)in 72(56%) and diagnostic(DX)in 56(44%). REsULTs:Peroral endoscopy was performed in 121 and percutaneous in *** indications included CBD stones in 41,PD stones in six,and biliary strictures in *** indications included abnormal LFT’s in 15, abnormal imaging in 38 and cholangiocarcinoma staging in *** of the stone(s)was considered good in 31,fair in six,and poor in four. Advancement of the electrohydraulic lithotripsy probe was not possible in three patients and proper targeting of the lesion was partial in four patients.A holmium laser was used successfully in three *** clearance was achieved in 37 patients after one procedure and in four patients after two *** of biliary strictures was modified in 20/29 and confirmed to be malignant in 10/*** the modified patients,no diagnosis was available in *** demonstrated malignancy in 8/17 and non-malignancy in *** pathology by imaging studies and abnormal LFT’s was modified in 43/63(66%).staging of cholangiocarcinoma demonstrated multicentric cholangiocarcinoma in 2/*** was no morbidity associated with the use of spyglass. CONCLUsION:spyglass spyscopeis a first generation, single operator miniature endoscope that can evaluate and treat various biliary and pancreatic tract diseases.
