Wireless sensor Networks(WsNs)play an indispensable role in the lives of human beings in the fields of environment monitoring,manufacturing,education,agriculture etc.,However,the batteries in the sensor node under deployment in an unattended or remote area cannot be replaced because of their wireless *** this context,several researchers have contributed diversified number of cluster-based routing schemes that concentrate on the objective of extending node survival ***,there still exists a room for improvement in Cluster Head(CH)selection based on the integration of critical *** meta-heuristic methods that concentrate on guaranteeing both CH selection and data transmission for improving optimal network performance are *** this paper,a hybrid Marine Predators Optimization and Improved Particle swarm Optimizationbased Optimal Cluster Routing(MPO-IPsO-OCR)is proposed for ensuring both efficient CH selection and data *** robust characteristic of MPOA is used in optimized CH selection,while improved PsO is used for determining the optimized route to ensure sink *** specific,a strategy of position update is included in the improved PsO for enhancing the global searching efficiency of *** high-speed ratio,unit speed rate and low speed rate strategy inherited by MPOA facilitate better exploitation by preventing solution from being struck into local optimality *** simulation investigation and statistical results confirm that the proposed MPOIPsO-OCR is capable of improving the energy stability by 21.28%,prolonging network lifetime by 18.62%and offering maximum throughput by 16.79%when compared to the benchmarked cluster-based routing schemes.

Effect of Magnetic Field on Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability in a Couple-stress Fluid Layer Bounded Above by a Porous Layer and Below by a Rigid surface

Kelvin-Helmholtz instability (KHI) appears in stratified two-fluid flow at surface. When the relative velocity is higher than the critical relative velocity, the growth of waves occurs. It is found that magnetic field has a stabilization effect whereas the buoyancy force has a destabilization effect on the KHI in the presence of sharp inter-face. The RT instability increases with wave number and flow shear, and acts much like a KHI when destabilizing effect of sheared flow dominates. It is shown that both of ablation velocity and magnetic field have stabilization effect on RT instability in the presence of continued interface. In this paper, we study the effect of magnetic field on Kelvin-Helmholtz instability (KHI) in a Couple-stress fluid layer above by a porous layer and below by a rigid surface. A simple theory based on fully developed flow approximations is used to derive the dispersion relation for the growth rate of KHI. We replace the effect of boundary layer with Beavers and Joseph slip condition at the rigid surface. The dispersion relation is derived using suitable boundary and surface conditions and results are discussed graphically. The stabilization effect of magnetic field takes place for whole waveband and becomes more significant for the short wavelength. The growth rate decreases as the density scale length increases. The stabilization effect of magnetic field is more significant for the short density scale length.

Reliability Measures for Tele-Communication system with Redundant Transferring Machine by Using Algebraic Method

There are so many existing methods to obtain system reliability like re-generating point function technique, supplementary variables technique etc., but all these techniques are full of complicated calculations. Keeping above these facts in mind, the authors in this paper have evaluated some reliability parameters for tele-communication system by using Boolean functions technique and algebraic method. Reliability of considered tele-communication system has been evaluated by considering the fact that failures follow arbitrary time distribution. In particular, the reliability expression has also been calculated for Exponential and Weibull distributions. Further, an important reliability parameter namely M.T.T.F. (mean time to failure) has also been calculated. A numerical example with graphical illustrations has been appended at the end to highlight the important results and practical utility of the model.

Plecanatide and dolcanatide, novel guanylate cyclase-C agonists, ameliorate gastrointestinal inflammation in experimental models of murine colitis

AIM: To evaluate the effect of orally administeredplecanatide or dolcanatide, analogs of uroguanylin, on amelioration of colitis in murine ***: The cyclic guanosine monophosphate(cG MP) stimulatory potency of plecanatide and dolcanatide was measured using a human colon carcinoma T84 cellbased assay. For animal studies all test agents were formulated in phosphate buffered saline. sulfasalazine or 5-amino salicylic acid(5-AsA) served as positive controls. Effect of oral treatment with test agents on amelioration of acute colitis induced either by dextran sulfate sodium(Dss) in drinking water or by rectal instillation of trinitrobenzene sulfonic(TNBs) acid, was examined in BALB/c and/or BDF1 mice. Additionally, the effect of orally administered plecanatide on the spontaneous colitis in T-cell receptor alpha knockout(TCRα-/-) mice was also examined. Amelioration of colitis was assessed by monitoring severity of colitis, disease activity index and by histopathology. Frozen colon tissues were used to measure myeloperoxidase ***: Plecanatide and dolcanatide are structurally related analogs of uroguanylin, which is an endogenous ligand of guanylate cyclase-C(GC-C). As expected from the agonists of GC-C, both plecanatide and dolcanatide exhibited potent cG MP-stimulatory activity in T84 cells. Once-daily treatment by oral gavage with either of these analogs(0.05-0.5 mg/kg) ameliorated colitis in both Dss and TNBs-induced models of acute colitis, as assessed by body weight, reduction in colitis severity(P sease activity index(P s by either of the drug candidates was comparable to that achieved by orally administered sulfasalazine or 5-AsA. Plecanatide also effectively ameliorated colitis in TCRα-/- mice, a model of spontaneous colitis.
