The ρ(NH2) infrared(IR) frequencies and the corresponding full width at half maximum(FWHM) values for(CH3)2 NH2 FeⅢ M Ⅱ(HCOO)6(DMFe M, M = Ni, Zn, Cu, Fe, and Mg) are analyzed at various temperatures by using the experimental data from the literature. For the analysis of the IR frequencies of the ρ(NH2) mode which is associated with the structural phase transitions in those metal structures, the temperature dependence of the mode frequency is assumed as an order parameter and the IR frequencies are calculated by using the molecular field theory. Also, the temperature dependence of the IR frequencies and of the damping constant as calculated from the models of pseudospin(dynamic disorder of dimethylammonium(DMA+) cations)–phonon coupling(Ps) and of the energy fluctuation(EF), is fitted to the observed data for the wavenumber and FWHM of the ρ(NH2) IR mode of the niccolites studied here. We find that the observed behavior of the IR frequencies and the FWHM of this mode can be described adequately by the models studied for the crystalline structures of interest. This method of calculating the frequencies(IR and Raman) and FWHM of modes which are responsible for the phase transitions can also be applied to some other metal organic frameworks.

A synchrotron radiation source called TURKAY is proposed as a sub-project of the Turkish Accelerator Center Project. The storage ring of TURKAY is a low emittance synchrotron and the radiation ranges between 0.01 and 60 keV can be generated from the insertion devices and bending magnets placed on it. The injector system of the facility will mainly consist of a 150 MeV linac and full energy booster. In this study, we present design considerations and beam dynamics studies of the pre-injector linac and booster ring for TURKAY.

The （n,f, k）： F（G） system consists ofn components and the system fails （works） if and only if there are at least flailed （working） components or at least k consecutive failed （working） components. These system models can be used in electronic equipment, automatic payment systems in banks, and furnace systems. In this paper we introduce and study the （n, f, k）：F and （n, f, k）： G systems consisting of weighted components. Recursive equations are presented for reliability evaluation of these new models. We also provide some conditions on the weights to represent weighted-（n,f, k） systems as usual （n,f, k） systems.

AIM:The effects of cobalt,copper,cadmium and barium ions on the cysts of Entamoeba histolyt/ca (E,histolytica), an amebic dysentery agent,cultured in Robinson medium were investigated. METHODs:*** cysts and trophozoites isolated from a patient with amebiasis were cultivated in the medium, incubated at 37℃ for a period of 4 days and 40×10~4/ml amebic cysts were then transferred to a fresh *** the second stage,0.05,0.1 and 0.2 mM of selected metal ions were added to the medium,and the effects of these ions on parasitic reproduction compared with the control group were observed. REsULTs:It was determined that the number of living parasites in all the groups containing metal ions decreased significantly starting from 30 minutes (Pshowed the highest lethal effect on *** cysts,whereas the lowest lethal effect was observed with CoCl_*** was also seen that the number of living cells was decreased as the ion concentration and exposure time were increased,and that there were no living parasites in the medium at the end of 24 h (PsION:It may be stated that the effect of ever- increasing contamination of the environment with metal waste materials on parasites should be investigated further.

In today＇s world of excessive development in technologies, sustainability and adaptability of computer applications is a challenge, and future prediction became significant. Therefore, strong artificial intelligence （AI） became important and, thus, statistical machine learning （ML） methods were applied to serve it. These methods are very difficult to understand, and they predict the future without showing how. However, understanding of how machines make their decision is also important, especially in information system domain. Consequently, incremental covering algorithms （CA） can be used to produce simple rules to make difficult decisions. Nevertheless, even though using simple CA as the base of strong AI agent would be a novel idea but doing so with the methods available in CA is not possible. It was found that having to accurately update the discovered rules based on new information in CA is a challenge and needs extra attention. In specific, incomplete data with missing classes is inappropriately considered, whereby the speed and data size was also a concern, and future none existing classes were neglected. Consequently, this paper will introduce a novel algorithm called RULEs-IT, in order to solve the problems of incremental CA and introduce it into strong AI. This algorithm is the first incremental algorithm in its family, and CA as a whole, that transfer rules of different domains to improve the performance, generalize the induction, take advantage of past experience in different domain, and make the learner more intelligent. It is also the first to introduce intelligent aspectsinto incremental CA, including consciousness, subjective emotions, awareness, and adjustment. Furthermore, all decisions made can be understood due to the simple representation of repository as rules. Finally, RULEs-IT performance will be benchmarked with six different methods and compared with its predecessors to see the effect of transferring rules in the learning process, and to pro

Dual-phase （DP） steels with different martensite contents were obtained by appropriate heat treatment of an sAE1010 structural carbon steel, which was cheap and widely used in the construction industry. The corrosion behavior of DP steels in concrete was investigated under various tempering conditions. Intercritical annealing heat treatment was applied to the reinforcing steel to obtain DP steels with different contents of martensite. These DP steels were tempered at 200, 300, and 400℃ for 45 min and then cooled to room temperature. Corrosion experiments were conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the corrosion potential of DP steels embedded in concrete was measured every day for a period of 30 d based on the AsTM C 876 standard. In the second stage, the anodic and cathodic polarization values of these steels were obtained and subsequently the corrosion currents were determined with the aid of cathodic polarization curves. It was observed that the amount of second phase had a definite effect on the corrosion behavior of the DP steel embedded in concrete. As a result of this study, it is found that the corrosion rate of the DP steel increases with an increase in the amount of martensite.

A new species, spiraea cudidaghense(sect. spiraeoideae, Rosaceae), is described and illustrated with diagnostic characters and taxonomic comments. Its characteristics are compared with those of the type species from which it differs mainly in compound corymbs inflorescence, ovate-obovate leaves, white petals, glabrous branches and densely pilose corymbs. In addition, a map of the geographic distribution of the new species, an IUCN ranking and notes on taxonomic affinities are also provided.

Thermal analysis of annular fins with temperature-dependent thermal properties

The thermal analysis of the annular rectangular profile fins with variable thermal properties is investigated by using the homotopy analysis method （HAM）. The thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient are assumed to vary with a linear and power-law function of temperature, respectively. The effects of the thermal-geometric fin parameter and the thermal conductivity parameter variations on the temperature distribution and fin efficiency are investigated for different heat transfer modes. Results from the HAM are compared with numerical results of the finite difference method （FDM）. It can be seen that the variation of dimensionless parameters has a significant effect on the temperature distribution and fin efficiency.

The path equation describing the minimum drag work first proposed by Pakdemirli is reconsidered （Pakdemirli, M. The drag work minimization path for a fly- ing object with altitude-dependent drag parameters. Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C, Journal of Mechanical Engineering science 223（5）, 1113- 1116 （2009））. The Lie group theory is applied to the general equation. The group classi- fication with respect to an altitude-dependent arbitrary function is presented. Using the symmetries, the group-invariant solutions are determined, and the reduction of order is performed by the canonical coordinates.

A modified power-law fluid of second grade is considered. The model is a combination of power-law and second grade fluid in which the fluid may exhibit normal stresses, shear thinning or shear thickening behaviors. The equations of motion are derived for two dimensional incompressible flows, and from which the boundary layer equations are derived. symmetries of the boundary layer equations are found by using Lie group theory, and then group classification with respect to power-law index is performed. By using one of the symmetries, namely the scaling symmetry, the partial differential system is transformed into an ordinary differential system, which is numerically integrated under the classical boundary layer conditions. Effects of power-law index and second grade coefficient on the boundary layers are shown and solutions are contrasted with the usual second grade fluid solutions.
