Distinguishing high-grade mafic-ultramafic rocks originally crystallized from within-plate basaltic magmatism is challenging and crucial because the chemical composition of the igneous rocks has been modified during high-grade metamorphism,causing misidentification of the characters of the parental *** metamorphosed mafic dykes occur throughout the Chhotanagpur Gneissic Complex(CGC)of eastern Indian *** E-W trending mafic dykes from the Saltora area in the southeastern CGC underwent metamorphism in two episodes:M1(650 MPa;770℃)and M2(300 MPa;744℃).The metamafics are enriched in LILE,depleted in HFSE,and display strong fractionation of LREE,nearly flat HREE patterns in a chondrite-normalized REE diagram,and show tholeiitic differentiation *** geochemical affinity is towards rift-related,continental within-plate *** 7%–10%melting of the carbonated spinel-peridotite sub-continental lithospheric mantle(SCLM)produced the parental mafic *** pre-existing SCLM was metasomatized by slab-derived fluid during the previous *** upwelling of the asthenosphere in a post-collisional tectonic setting caused E-W trending fractures,lithospheric thinning,and gravitational *** dykes were emplaced during crustal extension around 1070 *** remarkable geochemical similarity between the mafic dykes of Saltora and Dhanbad,the ca.1096 Ma Mahoba(Bundelkhand craton),and the ca.1070 Ma Alcurra mafic dykes in Australia supports a genetic link.

Efficient utilization of isabgol(Plantgo ovata Forsk.)straw biomass through preparation of bio-active organic fertilizer in a natural composting process has not been *** this study,phosphate rock and silicate mineral(mica)powder were used as natural sources of phosphorus(P)and potassium(K),*** dung slurry as a natural decomposer was mixed with the straw biomass at a 10:1(weight/weight)ratio along with mineral ***,nutrient-mobilizing bio-inoculants were used in the composting process after attaining thermal *** agronomic effectiveness of the resulting bio-active compost(BAC)as a bio-organic fertilizer was compared with that of conventional organics(farmyard manure and vermicompost)and chemical fertilizer(CF)by growing isabgol under field *** with the natural sources of P and K along with the bio-inoculants increased the total nitrogen(13.6 g kg^(-1)),P(38.7 g kg^(-1)),and K(31.2 g kg^(-1))contents in the final product(i.e.,BAC)compared with composting without the mineral powder and *** of BAC remarkably improved the seed yield(2.5%)and husk quality of isabgol in comparison with conventional organics and *** with CF,BAC significantly boosted the economic yield of isabgol by improving the husk recovery(2.5%)and mucilage yield(4.12%).Furthermore,BAC significantly improved the soil quality by increasing organic carbon(C),available nutrients,and microbial biomass C contents,as well as enzyme *** positive correlation between soil and plant parameters also highlighted the benefits of BAC for isabgol production through soil quality ***,it can be considered as a zero-waste technology,whereby a large quantity of straw biomass generated from isabgol cultivation,which contains essential nutrients,can be recycled back to the ***,BAC can be effectively used as a bio-active organic fertilizer,particularly in systems where chemical inputs are restricted,

Simulation is recognized as an effective tool for building energy performance assessment during design or retrofit processes. Nevertheless, simulation models yield deviating outcomes from the actual building performance and a significant portion of this deviation originates from the dynamic nature of occupant behavior. Literature on occupant behavior indicates that occupant behavior is not integrated into building energy performance assessment procedures with appropriate resolution, instead they are accepted as assumed and fixed data sets that usually represent the presence of occupants. This study attempts to evaluate the effect of diverse patterns of occupant behavior on energy performance simulation for office buildings. Diverse levels of sensitivity of occupant behavior on control-based activities such as using lighting apparatus, adjusting thermostat settings, and presence in space are employed through three diverse occupant behavior patterns. These occupancy patterns are correlated with three identical office spaces simulated within a conceptual office building. EDSL Tas is used to run building energy performance simulations. Effects of occupant behavior patterns on simulation outcomes are compared for five sample winter and summer workdays, with respect to heating and cooling loads. Results present findings on how diversity of occupancy profiles influences the consumption outcomes.

The aim of this study was to determine how well the landslide susceptibility parameters,obtained by data-dependent statistical models,matched with the parameters used in the *** order to achieve this goal,20 different environmental parameters were mapped in a well-studied landslide-prone area,the Asarsuyu catchment in northwest Turkey.A total of 4400 seed cells were generated from 47 different landslides and merged with different attributes of 20 different environmental causative variables into a *** order to run a series of logistic regression models,different random landslide-free sample sets were produced and combined with seed *** susceptibility maps were created with an average success rate of nearly 80%.The coherence among the models showed spatial correlations greater than 90%.Models converged in the parameter selection peculiarly,in that the same nine of 20 were chosen by different logistic regression *** these nine parameters,lithology,geological structure(distance/density),landcover-landuse,and slope angle were common parameters selected by both the regression models and *** assessment of the logistic models was assessed by absolute *** models were field checked with the landslides resulting from the 12 November 1999,Kaynas¸li Earthquake(Ms7.2).

Interactions Between Temperature and Sugars in the Regulation of Leaf Senescence in the Perennial Herb Arabis alpina L.

Annual plants usually flower and set seed once before senescence results in the death of the whole plant （monocarpic senescence）. Leaf senescence also occurs in polycarpic perennials; even in ＂evergreen＂ species individual leaves senesce. In the annual model Arabidopsis thaliana sugars accumulate in the senescent leaves and senescence is accelerated by high sugar availability. Similar to A. thaliana, sugar contents increased with leaf age in the perennial Arabis alpina grown under warm conditions （22℃ day/18 night）. At 5℃, sugar contents in non-senescent leaves were higher than at a warm temperature, but dependent on the accession, either sugars did not accumulate or their contents decreased in old leaves. In A. alpina plants grown in their natural habitat in the Alps, sugar contents declined with leaf age. Growth at a cold temperature slightly delayed senescence in A. alpina. In both warm and cold conditions, an external glucose supply accelerated senescence, but natural variation was found in this response. In conclusion, sugar accumulation under warm conditions could accelerate leaf senescence in A. alpina plants, but genotype-specific responses and interactions with growth temperature are likely to influence senescence under natural conditions.

Microgrids are a type of restricted power distribution systems in which electricity is generated,transmitted,and distributed within a small geographic *** are used to ensure that renewable energy sources are used to their full *** provide further benefits,such as lowering transmission losses and the expenses associated with *** research compares and contrasts the aims of economic dispatch,emission dispatch,fractional programing based combined economic emission dispatch,and environmental restricted economic dispatch(ECED).A low-voltage microgrid system is investigated for three different *** a study optimization tool,an innovative,resilient,and strong hybrid swarm-intelligence optimization algorithm is utilised,which is based on combining the properties of the traditional grey-wolf optimiser,sine-cosine algorithm,and crow search *** employment of a time-of-use energy mar-ket pricing approach instead of a fixed pricing plan resulted in a 15%decrease in gen-eration costs throughout the course of the *** ECED was assessed with a 15%-20%demand side management based restructured load demand model for the microgrid system,the generation costs were reduced even further.
