Improving the alkali resistance of catalysts for selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x) with NH_(3) is still a *** this work,the co-modification with Fe,Ce and sulfates on V_(2)O_(5)-WO_(3)/TiO_(2) catalysts(denoted as xSFeCeVWTi) significantly enhances its alkali resistance with K element as a representative.A series of xSFeCeVWTi catalysts was synthesized by wet impregnation with designed 0.05Fe/V, 1.5Ce/V and different S/V molar ratios *** NO_(x) conversion and K resistance of xSFeCeVWTi catalysts increase with the increase of loading amounts of sulfates but no longer further increase as the sulfates load is excessive to block the pores of catalysts and hinder the adsorption of *** optimal modified catalyst in about 2.2S/V actual loading ratio,corresponding to 10.5SFeCeVWTi sample,shows over 99.0%NO_(x) conversion and N_(2) selectivity at 300-400℃ after *** interaction between Fe,Ce and V improves its redox ability but slightly weakens surface acidity,while the proper amount of sulfate species enriches surface Br?nsted acid sites but attenuates its redox ***,a balance of redox capacity and surface acidity,caused by Fe,Ce and sulfate co-modification,contributes to the excellent K resistance of 10.5SFeCeVWTi ***,the change of physicochemical properties influences the reaction mechanism which follows the Eley-Rideal mechanism on *** *** results show that the co-modification with Fe,Ce and sulfates is a good way to improve the alkali tolerance of V_(2)O_(5)-WO_(3)/TiO_(2) catalyst in industrial applications.

Polyelectrolyte(PE)gels,distinguished by their unique stimuli-responsive swelling behavior,serve as the basis of broad applications,such as artificial muscles and drug *** this work,we present a theoretical model to analyze the electrostatics and its contribution to the swelling behavior of PE gels in salt *** minimizing the free energy of PE gels,we obtain two distinct scaling regimes for the swelling ratio at equilibrium with respect to the salt *** compare our predictions for the swelling ratio with experimental measurements,which show excellent *** addition,we employ a finite element method to assess the applicability range of our theoretical model and *** anticipate that our model will also provide valuable insights into drug adsorption and release,deformation of red blood cells,4D printing and soft robotics,where the underlying mechanism of swelling remains enigmatic.

Developing fluorescence porous probe for detecting and eliminating Cu^(2+) contamination in water or biosystem is an essential research project that has attracted considerable ***,improving the fluorescence detecting efficiency while enhancing the adsorption capacity of the porous probe is of great ***,a bifunctional two-dimensional imine-based porous covalent organic framework(TTP-COF)probe was designed and synthesized from 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenyl)benzene(TAPB)and 2,4,6-Triformylphloroglucinol(TP)***-COF displayed rapid detection of Cu^(2+)(limit of detection(LOD)=10 nmol·L^(−1) while achieving a high adsorption capacity of 214 mg·g^(−1)(pH=6)at room temperature with high reusability(>5 cycles).The key roles and contributions of highπ-conjugate and delocalized electrons in TABP and functional–OH groups in TP were *** importantly,the fluorescence quenching mechanism of TTP-COF was studied by density functional theory theoretical calculations,revealing the crucial role of intramolecular hydrogen bonds among C=N and–OH groups and the blocking of the excited state intramolecular proton transfer process in detecting process of Cu^(2+).

The application of superconducting (SC) technology enables magnets to excite strong fields with small footprints, which has great potential for miniaturizing proton therapy gantries. However, the slow ramping rate of SC magnets results in a low treatment efficiency compared with normal-conducting (NC) gantries. To address this problem, this study proposes a compact proton therapy gantry design with a large momentum acceptance utilizing alternating-gradient canted-cosine-theta (AG-CCT) SC magnets. In our design, a high-transmission degrader is mounted in the middle of the gantry, and the upstream beamline employs NC magnets with small apertures. Downstream of the degrader, large-bore AG-CCT magnets with strong alternating focusing gradients are set symmetrically as a local achromat, which realizes a momentum acceptance of 20% (or 40% in the energy domain). Therefore, only three magnetic working points are required to cover a treatment energy of 70-230 MeV. Owing to the large momentum acceptance, the proton beam after the degrader can be directly delivered to the isocenter without truncating its energy spectrum, which can significantly increase the treatment efficiency but causes severe dispersion effects during pencil beam scanning. Therefore, a compensation method was introduced by tuning the normal and skewed quadrupoles during the scanning process. As a result, the new gantry not only presents a remarkable reduction in the size and weight of the facility but also shows good potential for fast treatment.

Improved controllability and energy density of ignition agents are of great significance for the devel-opment of energetic composite *** this study,droplet microfluidics and emulsification tech-niques were combined to prepare HNS/CL-20 composite microspheres with polyglycidyl azide polymer(GAP)as the *** influence of binder content on the morphology of microspheres was investi-gated,and the microspheres were characterized and tested for particle size,crystal structure,thermal decomposition,dispersibility,mechanical sensitivity,combustion behavior and detonation *** results showed that microspheres prepared with a binder content of 3%had higher sphericity and particle size *** microspheres retained the crystal structure of both HNS and CL-20(ε-type).Compared with raw HNS,the microspheres had higher apparent activation energy,better safety per-formance,and good *** ignition experiments and detonation performance tests show that HNS/CL-20 composite microspheres have excellent ignition performance,obvious combustion flame,and significant energy release effects,which are expected to achieve high energy and high-speed response of the igniter,thus improving the ignition reliability in special environments or systems.
