Tunnels constructed in gas-bearing strata are affected by the potential leakage of harmful gases,such as methane *** on the basic principles of computational fluid dynamics,a numerical analysis was performed to simulate the ventilation and diffusion of harmful gases in a shield tunnel,and the effect of ventilation airflow speed on the diffusion of harmful gases was *** the airflow speed increased from 1.8 to 5.4 m/s,the methane emission was diluted,and the methane accumulation was only observed in the area near the methane leakage *** influence of increased ventilation airflow velocity was dominant for the ventilation modes with two and four *** addition,laboratory tests on methane leakage through segment joints were *** results show that the leakage process can be divided into“rapid leakage”and“slight leakage”,depending on the leakage pressure and the state of joint *** on the numerical and experimental analysis results,a relationship between the safety level and the joint deformation is established,which can be used as guidelines for maintaining utility tunnels.

In this experimental study, involving deuterium–deuterium fusion neutron emission spectroscopy measurement on the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak(EAST), a liquid scintillator detector(BC501 A) was employed. This decision was based on the detector's superior sensitivity, optimal time-response, and its exceptional n–γ discrimination capability. This detector emits fast pulse signals that are as narrow as 100 ns, with high count rates that can peak at several Mcps. However, conventional nuclear circuits faced challenges in performing pulse height analysis, n–γ pulse shape discrimination, and in recording the entire pulse waveform under such high count rate conditions. To address these challenges, a high-speed digital pulse signal acquisition and processing system was designed. The system was developed around a micro-telecommunications computing architecture. Within this structure, a signal acquisition and processing(SAQP) module communicated through PCI Express links, achieving a bandwidth of up to 1.6 GB/s. To accurately capture the detailed shape of the pulses, four channels of analog-to-digital converters were used, each with a 500-MSPS sampling rate and a 14-bit resolution, ensuring an accuracy that surpassed 11 bits. An n–γ discrimination algorithm, based on the two-gate integral method, was also developed. Implemented within field programmable gate arrays, this algorithm provided a real-time n–γ discrimination spectrum for pulse height analysis. The system underwent rigorous testing in a laboratory setting and during an EAST experiment. The results confirmed that the innovative SAQP system can satisfy the demanding requirements of high-parameter experiments, manage count rates of up to 2 Mcps, execute real-time n–γ discrimination algorithms, and record entire pulse waveforms without any data loss.

A simple route for the preparation of lipo-alkaloid is presented. When aconitine or one of its analogues is heated with a fatty acid for 20 min at 100 ℃ in water, the C_8 acetyl group of aconitine is displaced by a long chain fatty acyl group. The structures of the products were characterized by electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry.

Understanding streamflow changes in terms of trends and periodicities and relevant causes is the first step into scientific management of water resources in a changing environment. In this study, monthly streamflow variations were analyzed using Modified Mann-Kendall(MM-K) trend test and Continuous Wavelet Transform(CWT) methods at 9 hydrological stations in the Huaihe River Basin. It was found that: 1) streamflow mainly occurs during May to September, accounting for 70.4% of the annual total streamflowamount with Cv values between 0.16–0.85 and extremum ratio values between 1.70–23.90; 2) decreased streamflow can be observed in the Huaihe River Basin and significant decreased streamflow can be detected during April and May, which should be the results of precipitation change and increased irrigation demand; 3) significant periods of 2–4 yr were detected during the 1960 s, the 1980 s and the 2000 s. Different periods were found at stations concentrated within certain regions implying periods of streamflow were caused by different influencing factors for specific regions; 4) Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO) has the most significant impacts on monthly streamflow mainly during June. Besides, Southern Oscillation Index(SOI), North Atlantic Oscillation(NAO) and the Ni?o3.4 Sea Surface Temperature(Ni?o3.4) have impacts on monthly streamflow with three months lags, and was less significant in time lag of six months. Identification of critical climatic factors having impacts on streamflow changes can help to predict monthly streamflow changes using climatic factors as explanatory variables. These findings were well corroborated by results concerning impacts of El Nino-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) regimes on precipitation events across the Huaihe River Basin. The results of this study can provide theoretical background for basin-scale management of water resources and agricultural irrigation.

Objective: To investigate the model, quality as well as effect of teaching-in-English in five-year clinical medicine program of Hainan Medical ***: The questionnaire was carried out among clinical medicine undergraduates of2012–2015 grades in Hainan Medical University, to investigate studying time, studying habits and the impact of teaching in English. Additionally results of CET-4, CET-6 and overseas internship from undergraduates of 2012–2015 grade, as well as the result of phased medical licensing examination and post-graduate entrance examination from undergraduates of 2012 were accordingly collected from the Teaching Management ***: For the Chinese students in international classes, the average time of self-study was 161.49 min, 58.3% had preview before classes, and 90.7% had habit of review after classes. Thus the first time pass rate, total pass rate, first time excellent rate and total excellent rate of CET-4 and CET-6 of international classes were significantly higher than those of regular classes. The result of post-graduate entrance examination in 2016 showed that the score, pass rate and acceptance rate of international classes of 2012 grade were significantly higher those of regular classes(P < 0.01).Conclusions: Teaching-in-English reform in Hainan Medical University has achieved initial success. Chinese students from international classes are superior to those from regular classes in many aspects. However, there are still many problems, and effective measures should be implemented to promote teaching quality continuously.

Origin of Chromitites in the Songshugou Peridotite Massif,Qinling Orogen (Central China): Mineralogical and Geochemical Evidence

The Songshugou peridotite massif is located in the north of Shangdan suture zone, North Qinling orogenic belt of Central China. The massif is mainly composed of fine-grained mylonitic dunites, coarse-grained dunites, fine- and coarse-grained harzburgites, and minor clinopyroxenites. The coarsegrained dunites as well as parts of the harzburgites host small-scale chromitites? Chromite grains from various textural types of chromitites and dunites pervasively contain primary and secondary silicate inelusions. Primary inclusions are dominated by monophase olivine, with minor clinopyroxene and a few multiphase mineral assemblages consisting of olivine and clinopyroxene. Secondary inclusions, mainly Cr-chlorite and tremolite, show irregular crystal shapes. Besides, Cr2O3 contents (0.08 wt.%-0.71 wt.%) of primary olivine inclusions are remarkably higher than those of interstitial olivine (<0.1 wt.%). Chr0- mites in the Songshugou peridotite massif are high-Cr type, with Cr^# and Mg^# values ranging of 67.5-87.6, and 23.4-41.2, respectively. The Cr-chlorite, formed by reactions between olivine and chromite in the presence of fluid under middle temperature, indicates the Songshugou peridotite massif has undergone alteration/metamorphism process during emplacement. Chromite grains are modified by these processes, resulting in the various degrees of enrichment of Fe2O3, Cr2O3, Zn, Co and Mn, depletion of MgO, A12O3,Ga, Ti and Ni. Due to low silicate/chromite ratios in the massive ores, chromites from them are slightly influenced by alteration/metamorphism and thus preserve the pristine magmatic compositions. The parental magma calculated based on them has 11.17 wt.%-13.57 wt.% A12O3 and 0.15 wt.%-0.27 wt.% TiO2, which is similar to the parental melts of high-Cr chromitites from elsewhere and comparable with those of boninites. Unconstrained face images are interfered by many factors such as illumination,posture,expression,occlusion,age,accessories and so on,resulting in the randomness of the noise pollution implied in the original *** order to improve the sample quality,a weighted block cooperative sparse representation algorithm is proposed based on visual saliency ***,the algorithm uses the biological visual attention mechanism to quickly and accurately obtain the face salient target and constructs the visual salient ***,a block cooperation framework is presented to perform sparse coding for different local structures of human face,and the weighted regular term is introduced in the sparse representation process to enhance the identification of information hidden in the coding ***,by synthesising the sparse representation results of all visual salient block dictionaries,the global coding residual is obtained and the class label is *** experimental results on four databases,that is,AR,extended Yale B,LFW and PubFig,indicate that the combination of visual saliency dictionary,block cooperative sparse representation and weighted constraint coding can effectively enhance the accuracy of sparse representation of the samples to be tested and improve the performance of unconstrained face recognition.
