Uncovering causal genes for human inherited diseases,as the primary step toward understanding the pathogenesis of these diseases,requires a combined analysis of genetic and genomic *** bioinformatics methods have been designed to prioritize candidate genes resulting fromgenetic linkage analysis or association studies,the coverage of both diseases and genes in existing methods is quite limited,thereby preventing the scan of causal genes for a significant proportion of diseases at the whole-genome *** overcome this limitation,we propose a method named pgWalk to prioritize candidate genes by integrating multiple phenomic and genomic *** derive three types of phenotype similarities among 7719 diseases and nine types of functional similarities among 20327 *** on a pair of phenotype and gene similarities,we construct a disease-gene network and then simulate the process that a random walker wanders on such a heterogeneous network to quantify the strength of association between a candidate gene and a query disease.A weighted version of the Fisher’s method with dependent correction is adopted to integrate 27 scores obtained in this way,and a final q-value is calibrated for prioritizing candidate genes.A series of validation experiments are conducted to demonstrate the superior performance of this *** further show the effectiveness of this method in exome sequencing studies of autism and epileptic *** online service and the standalone software of pgWalk can be found at http://***/jianglab/pgwalk.

On the assumption that the resonant surface plasmons on a spherical nanoparticle are formed by standing waves of two counter-propagating surface plasmon waves along the surface, by using Mie theory simulation, we find that the dispersions of surface plasmon resonant modes supported by silver nanospheres match with those of the surface plasmons on a semiinfinite medium-silver interface very well. This suggests that the resonant surface plasmons of a metal nanosphere can be treated as a propagating surface plasmon wave.

Selective oxidation of alkanes to produce highvalue chemicals is an essential strategy and means to realize efficient utilization of *** this work,a strategy of lanthanum manganese mixed metal oxides(LMMO)regulated via a facile ionic liquid(IL)-assisted hydrothermal method was proposed to construct the multifunctional catalysts,which exhibited excellent catalytic performance in the selective aerobic oxidation of *** 8.9%cyclohexane conversion with 90%KA oi(cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone)selectivity was achieved over the optimal LMMO catalyst under mild *** effects of anion type,carbon chain length and concentration of ILs on the structure and properties of catalysts were investigated through various characterizations,indicating the structure-directing and template effect of ILs on the multifunctional *** formation of self-assembled spherical nanoparticles followed the"dissolution-nucleation-proliferation"mechanism with the introduction of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate,ascribing the synergistic effect between the microenvironment of ILs and the hydrothermal ***,the high reactive oxygen concentration redox capacity,and suitable basic sites of LMMO catalysts mediated by ILs enhance the activation of C-H bonds and molecular oxygen,simultaneously influencing the adsorption and desorption of the substrate.A comprehensive understanding of the high KA oil selectivity and radical reaction mechanism was elucidated based on in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS)and radical trapping *** recycling and regeneration experiments further illuminated that the removal of adsorbed cyclohexanone acting on the LMMO catalyst was the key to achieve high KA oil selectivity.

Optical vortices arise as phase dislocations of light fields and they are of importance in modern optical *** this study,we employ the calculus of variations method to develop an existence theory for the steady state vortex solutions of a nonlinear Schr?dinger type equation to model light waves that propagate in a medium with a new focusing-defocusing ***,we demonstrate the existence of positive radially symmetric solutions by constrained minimization,where we give some interesting explicit estimates related to vortex winding numbers and the wave propagation ***,we establish the existence of saddle-point solutions through a mountain-pass argument.

Two kinds of selection combining schemes including generalized selection combining (GSC) and generalized order selection combining (GOSC) are investigated. In the GSC scheme, L strongest diversity branches from a total of R diversity branches are selected and coherently combined by maximal ratio combining. GOSC means that the Lth strongest diversity branch from R diversity branches is selected for reception. Closed-form expressions for the average signal-to-noise ratios of maximum ratio transmission with GSC and GOSC are derived in Rayleigh fading channels.

The reaction of 2-nitro-（2-pyridylsulfanylmethyl）benzene L with silver nitrate produces a centrosymmetric binuclear complex bis（2-nitro-（2-pyridylsulfanylmethyl）benzene-N,S）- bis（nitrato-O,O）-disilver（Ⅰ）, [AgLNO3]2 1. The crystal is of triclinic, space group PI, with a = 7.383 （3）, b = 8.340（3）, c = 12..003（4） A, a = 95.069（6）, β = 93.498（5）, γ = 102.734（6）°, C24H20Ag2N6- O10S2, Mr= 832.32, V = 715.6（4） ,A^3, Z = 1, Dc = 1.931 g/cm^3, F（000） = 412,μ = 1.581 mm^-1, R= 0.0351 and wR = 0.0749 Each silver atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by two O atoms from bidentate nitrate, one S atom from a ligand and one N atom from another ligand. Furthermore, Ag- Ag interactions have been observed in the complex.

盾构隧道施工扰动会改变隧道周围土体的应力状态和力学性质,从而影响隧道与车站后期的地震响应。通过数值模拟,分析不同程度的应力状态改变和剪切模量衰减对地震时隧道周围土体、管片结构以及车站结构地震响应的影响。结果表明:(1)应力状态改变程度越大(地层应力释放率越大),隧道周围土体的初始剪应力越大,隧道底部土体的剪应变越大,超静孔隙水压力越大;同时,地震引起的管片弯矩和轴力越大(应力释放率30%时地震引起的左拱肩峰值管片弯矩和轴力增量分别是应力释放率10%时的165%和527%),车站侧墙和柱的相对水平位移越大。(2)剪切模量衰减程度越大,隧道周围土体的剪切模量越小,隧道周围土体越软,隧道底部土体的剪应变越大,超静孔隙水压力越大;同时,地震引起的管片弯矩和轴力越小(模量衰减大时地震引起的左拱肩峰值管片弯矩和轴力增量分别是模量无衰减时的67%和40%),车站侧墙和柱的相对水平位移越小。因此,盾构隧道的施工扰动程度对后期隧道与车站的地震响应有明显影响,在隧道与车站的抗震设计时应考虑盾构隧道前期施工对周围土体应力状态及力学性质改变的影响。

We review the recent experimental progress towards observing quantum spin Hall effect in inverted InAs/GaSb quantum wells （QWs）. Low temperature transport measurements in the hybridization gap show bulk conductivity of a non-trivial origin, while the length and width dependence of con- ductance in this regime show strong evidence for the existence of helical edge modes proposed by Liu et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett., 2008, 100： 236601]. Surprisingly, edge modes persist in spite of compa- rable bulk conduction and show only weak dependence on magnetic field. We elucidate that seeming independence of edge on bulk transport comes due to the disparity in Fermi-wave vectors between the bulk and the edge, leading to a total internal reflection of the edge modes.
