The aim of this work is to investigate anisotropic compact objects within the framework of f(G)modified theory of *** our present work,we utilize Krori-Barua metrics,i.e.,λ(r)=Xr^(2)+Y andβ(r)=Zr^(2).We use some matching conditions of spherically symmetric spacetime with Bardeen's model as an exterior ***,we establish some expressions of energy density and pressure components to analyze the stellar configuration of Bardeen compact stars by assuming viable f(G)*** examine the energy conditions for different stellar structures to verify the viability of our considered ***,we also investigate some other physical features,such as equilibrium condition,equation of state parameters,adiabatic index,stability analysis,mass function,surface redshift,and compactness factor,*** is worthwhile to mention here for the current study that our stellar structure in the background of Bardeen's model is more viable and stable.

Despite the planned installation and operations of the traditional IEEE 802.11 networks,they still experience degraded performance due to the number of *** of the main reasons is the received signal strength indicator(RSSI)association problem,in which the user remains connected to the access point(AP)unless the RSSI becomes too *** this paper,we propose a multi-criterion association(WiMA)scheme based on software defined networking(SDN)in Wi-Fi *** association solution based on multi-criterion such as AP load,RSSI,and channel occupancy is proposed to satisfy the quality of service(QoS).SDNhaving an overall view of the network takes the association and reassociation decisions making the handoffs smooth in throughput *** implementWiMA extensive simulations runs are carried out on Mininet-NS3-Wi-Fi network *** performance evaluation shows that the WiMA significantly reduces the average number of retransmissions by 5%–30%and enhances the throughput by 20%–50%,hence maintaining user fairness and accommodating more wireless devices and traffic load in the network,when compared to traditional client-driven(CD)approach and state of the art Wi-Balance approach.

Total fragmentation cross section for the reaction 158A Pb ions ＋ Cu target is measured using the most sensitive track detector CR-39. Measured values are compared with calculations. Exposures of target-detector stack with 158A P5 projectiles are made at CERN-SPS beam facility. Results of calibration of CR-39 detector in a charge region （63 ≤ Z ≤ 83） are also reported, which can be used for high energy particle identification using CR-39 and in determination of partial charge changing cross sections. The charge resolution δz achieved by this technique is about 0.2e. A systematic dependence of total fragmentation cross section on target properties is revealed and the corresponding results are presented.

Slope stability analysis is a keen area of interest to researchers of geotechnical engineering and geological hazards. To date, the most popular approach applied in slope engineering design is the limit equilibrium method(LEM). However, for this method,some assumptions are required when obtaining the sliding force and the resistance force on the slide face. The discrete element method(DEM) presents an advantage in the calculation of the interaction forces between adjacent blocks without *** paper introduces a new slope stability analysis based on coupling of both approaches, herein referred to as LEM-DEM. The main LEM-DEM procedure is to transform the slice model of a slope in LEM into the DEM model and obtain the sliding force and the resistance force to calculate the factor of stability(Fos). The sensitivity analysis of the parameters in DEM, such as normal and shear stiffness, was conducted to illustrate that LEM-DEM suggests higher contact stiffness. A comparison between the Fos values in DEM and LEM-DEM was also conducted to indicate the rationality and advantages of LEM-DEM, especially for a gentle slope with a changing shear force direction in the slice model where the interslice forces in LEM are ***, this study carried out a 3 D landslide stability analysis extension, along with the results, for the proposed method.

This paper presents an investigation on the self-focusing/defocusing of chirped Gaussian laser beam in collisional plasma with linear absorption. We have derived the differential equation for the beam width parameter by using WKB and paraxial approximations and solved it numerically. The effect of chirp and other laser plasma parameters is seen on the behavior of beam width parameter with dimensionless distance of propagation. The results are discussed and presented graphically. Our simulation results show that the amplitude of oscillations decreases with the distance of propagation. Due to collisional frequency, the laser beam shows fast divergence which can be minimized by the introduction of chirp parameter. The chirp decreases the effect of defocusing and increases the ability of self-focusing of laser beam in collisional plasma.

Density transition based self-focusing of cosh-Gaussian laser beam in plasma with linear absorption has been studied. The field distribution in the plasma is expressed in terms of beam width parameter, decentered parameter,and linear absorption coefficient. The differential equation for the beam width parameter is solved by following Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin(WKB) and paraxial approximation through parabolic wave equation approach. The behaviour of beam width parameter with dimensionless distance of propagation is studied at optimum values of plasma density,decentered parameter and with different absorption levels in the medium. The results reveal that these parameters can affect the self-focusing significantly.
