Effect of Moderate Oxygen Preconditioning on Pulmonary Function and Electrophysiological Properties of Hippocampal Neurons in Rats with Lung Cancer

Objective: To observe the effect of moderate oxygen preconditioning on pulmonary function and electrophysiological properties of hippocampal neurons in rats with lung cancer. Methods: By establishing a lung cancer surgery model in rats, the experimental animals were randomly divided into model group, surgery group, oxygen treatment group A, oxygen treatment group B, and oxygen treatment group C. Lung cancer group was not treated, lung cancer surgery group underwent surgery to remove lung tissue, oxygen treatment group A received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 1-3 L/min, oxygen treatment group B received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 4-5 L/min, and oxygen treatment group C received oxygen pre-treatment at a concentration of 6-8 L/min. After operation, Morris water maze behavior was observed, lung function indicators were measured by lung function test,and the amplitude and frequency of micro-excitatory postsynaptic current of hippocampal neurons in rats were detected by electrophysiological membrane ***: Lung cancer surgery would have an effect on the spatial memory in lung cancer rats, and the spatial memory ability of oxygen-treated group A, group B and group C was improved compared with that of the surgery group. FEV 0.3(forced expiratory capacity at0.3 s) and FVC(forced vital capacity) in the oxygen-treated group B were significantly higher than those in the model group, in which the improvement of FEV 0.3 and FVC reached(3.32±0.42) m L and(3.79±0.82) m L, respectively. The FEV 0.3/FVC ratio of87.04 ±1.44 in oxygen-treated group B was higher than that of the model group and surgery group. The post-synaptic current frequency(3.73±0.27) Hz and post-synaptic current(13.74 ±0.26) p A of oxygen-treated group B were also significantly increased compared to other groups(P<0.05). Synthesis and Enhanced Acetone-sensing Properties of Ordered Large-pore Mesoporous Nickel Oxides with Ultrathin Crystalline Frameworks

Acetone is a tracer for monitoring air quality and a potential breath maker for diabetes. It remains a great challenge for current portable sensors to sensitively and selectively detect acetone at low-ppb (part per billion) level. Herein, we present an ordered mesoporous nickel oxide (NiO) with both large mesopores and ultrathin crystalline frameworks for the detection of low-ppb acetone. The ordered mesoporous NiO replicas with predominant large mesopores of 11 nm, high specific surface areas of 121–128 m2/g and ultrathin crystalline frameworks of 5 nm were synthesized by the nanocasting method and the crystalline properties of NiO frameworks were adjusted by changing the annealing temperature from 300℃ to 750℃, which resulted in different contents of oxygen deficient on the surface of ultrathin frameworks. The gas-sensing properties for all the NiO samples were investigated and the ordered large-pore mesoporous NiO (NiO-600) with maximum oxygen deficient obtained at 600℃ exhibited the highest response (R_(gas)/R_(air)−1=2.9) toward acetone (1 ppm, ppm: part per million), which is 3.4 and 30 times larger than those for common mesoporous NiO obtained at 300℃ and bulk NiO. Notably, a low detection limit (2 ppb), good selectivity and cycling stability were also observed in NiO-600.

Predictive value of intracranial high-density areas in neurological function

BACKGROUND Intracranial high-density areas(HDAs)have attracted considerable attention for predicting clinical outcomes;however,whether HDAs predict worse neurological function and mental health remains controversial and unclear,which requires further *** this prospective study,96 patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS)who accepted endovascular mechanical thrombectomy(EMT)were *** enrolled patients underwent cranial computed tomography(CT)examination within 24 hours after *** data in terms of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),the 3-month modified Rankin Scale(mRS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores were collected and compared between patients with HDAs and non-HDAs and between patients with good and poor clinical *** to patients without HDAs,patients with HDAs presented severe neurological deficits(admission NIHSS score:18±3 vs 19±4),were more likely to have post-stroke disabilities(mRS<3:35%vs 62%),and suffered more severe depression(SDS score:58±16 vs 64±13)and anxiety disorder(SAS score:52±8 vs 59±10).Compared to patients with a good prognosis,patients with a poor prognosis presented severe neurological deficits(admission NIHSS score:17±4 vs 20±3),were more likely to have HDAs on CT images(64%vs 33%),and suffered more severe depression(SDS score:55±19 vs 65±11)and anxiety(SAS score:50±8 vs 58±12).Multivariate analysis revealed that HDAs were independent nega-tive prognostic *** In conclusion,HDAs on CT images predicted poor prognosis and severe depressive and anxiety symptoms in patients with AIS who underwent EMT.

Treatment and follow-up of children with transient congenital hypothyroidism

Objective： To study the clinical therapy and prognosis in children with transient congenital hypothyroidism （CH）. Methods： Fifty-seven children with CH diagnosed after neonatal screening were treated with low-dosage levothyroxine （L-T4）. Follow-up evaluation included the determination of TT3, TT4 and TSH serum levels and the assessment of thyroid gland morphology, bone age, growth development and development quotients （DQ）. A full check-up was performed at age 2, when the affected children first discontinued the L-T4 treatment for 1 month, and one year later. Development quotients were compared with a control group of 29 healthy peers. Results： The initial L-T4 dosage administered was 3.21-5.81μg/（kg·d） with an average of （16.25±3.87）μg/d. Mean duration of therapy was （28.09±9.56） months. No significant difference was found between study group and control group in the DQ test （average score （106.58±14.40） vs （102.4±8.6）, P〉0.05） and 96.49% of the CH children achieved a test score above 85. Bone age, 99mTc scans and ultrasonographic findings were all normal, and evaluation of physical development was normal too, as were the serum levels of TT3, TT4 and TSH after one year of follow-up. Conclusion： AL-T4 dosage of 3.21-5.81μg/（kg·d） was found sufficient for the treatment of transient CH. The treated children showed satisfactory overall mental and physical development at age 2. So it is possible for CH children to stop taking medicine if their laboratory findings and physical development are all normal after regular treatment and 2-3 years of follow-up.

In this paper, we present a novel tracker for real-time single object tracking by combining Kernelized Correlation Filter（KCF） and Distractor Aware Tracker（DAT）. KCF is capable of distinguishing object from background effficiently while DAT is robust for object’s appearance and similar distracting reigons. First, we propose a seriesparallel connection structure to make full use of the two trackers’ s complementary advantages, which aims to locate the object position more accurately. Second, we add a revised scale filter to adapt the scale change. Experiments on OTB-100 demonstrate that our approach is better than both two sub-trackers and can run in real-time.

2023年岳阳市生猪标准化养殖场血清学检测及分析

研究旨在了解岳阳地区生猪标准化养殖场免疫水平，采用ELISA方法对岳阳地区8个生猪标准场采集的共480份血清进行口蹄疫O型抗体、口蹄疫A型抗体、猪瘟抗体等7个项目的检测。结果显示，全年免疫水平低于农业农村规定的最低标准（70%）有15场次，有一个场检测出猪伪狂犬病gE抗体阳性；部分场次不同时期间口蹄疫A型抗体、蓝耳病抗体和猪伪狂犬病gB抗体的抗体水平存在显著差异；除下半年口蹄疫O型抗体水平各场次间差异不显著外，其他时期不同场间的抗体水平存在显著场间差异。研究表明，岳阳市生猪标准化养殖场的免疫水平不一，且存在时间和地区差异。为保障疫苗的保护力，岳阳市生猪标准化养殖场应加强易感猪群的免疫，有针对性地制定免疫计划。
