Harnessing photoresponsive behavior in organic crystals,such as shape and morphology deformation,on multiple scales is intriguing with respect to precise spatiotemporal operation,because dynamic deformations are promising in fabricating future intelligent ***,we synthesized a new photoresponsive molecular crystal composed of dimethyl(E)-2-(3-(naphthalen-1-yl)allylidene)malonate((E)-DNAM)that undergoes E-to-Z photoisomerization accompanied by photoinduced crystal-to-liquid melting phase transition when exposed to visible *** of expanding in bulk polycrystals,single-crystal(E)-DNAM rectangular microplates in an aqueous solution rapidly collapsed into liquid droplets,showing a remarkable drastic reduction in surface area of more than 97%after light *** deduce that the unique microscopic morphology of microplates with high aspect ratios of length-tothickness reaching up to 1000 is mainly responsible for the photoinduced melting leading to drastic *** addition,the cohesive forces of liquid photoproduct facilitate the overall deformations and *** have shown a facile way to achieve the remarkable collapse of molecular crystals into droplets by photochemical reaction and phase transition.

Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)systems have become a crucial tool for the operational management of long *** immersed tunnels exposed to both traffic loads and the effects of the marine environment,efficiently identifying abnormal conditions from the extensive unannotated SHM data presents a significant *** study proposed amodel-based approach for anomaly detection and conducted validation and comparative analysis of two distinct temporal predictive models using SHM data from a real immersed ***,a dynamic predictive model-based anomaly detectionmethod is proposed,which utilizes a rolling time window for modeling to achieve dynamic *** the assumption of temporal data similarity,an interval prediction value deviation was employed to determine the abnormality of the ***,dynamic predictive models were constructed based on the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA)and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)*** hyperparameters of these models were optimized and selected using monitoring data from the immersed tunnel,yielding viable static and dynamic predictive ***,the models were applied within the same segment of SHM data,to validate the effectiveness of the anomaly detection approach based on dynamic predictive modeling.A detailed comparative analysis discusses the discrepancies in temporal anomaly detection between the ARIMA-and LSTM-based *** results demonstrated that the dynamic predictive modelbased anomaly detection approach was effective for dealing with unannotated SHM *** a comparison between ARIMA and LSTM,it was found that ARIMA demonstrated higher modeling efficiency,rendering it suitable for short-term *** contrast,the LSTM model exhibited greater capacity to capture long-term performance trends and enhanced early warning capabilities,thereby resulting in superior overall performance.

The low porosity and low permeability of tight oil reservoirs call for improvements in the current technologies for oil *** chemical solutions with large molecular size cannot effectively flow through the nanopores of the *** this study,the feasibility of Nanofluids has been investigated using a high pressure high temperature core-holder and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).The results of the experiments indicate that the specified Nanofluids can enhance the tight oil recovery *** water and oil relative permeability curve shifts to the high water saturation side after Nanofluid flooding,thereby demonstrating an increase in the water wettability of the *** the Nanofluid flooding process the oil recovery was enhanced by 15.1%,compared to waterflooding *** T2 spectra using the NMR show that after Nanofluid flooding,a 7.18%increment in oil recovery factor was gained in the small pores,a 4.9%increase in the middle pores,and a 0.29%increase in the large *** results confirm that the Nanofluids can improve the flow state in micro-sized pores inside the core and increase the ultimate oil recovery factor.

K-ion batteries(KIBs) have drawn much attention due to the abundant potassium reserves and wide accessibility as well as high energy density, which can be designed for large-scale energy storage systems. As the most promising anode materials for KIBs, graphitic carbons, especially those with an intermediate structure between the crystalline graphite and amorphous carbons become a hot research focus because of the improved rate capability and enhanced diffusion-controlled capacity at low voltage regions. Herein, we first review the structures of graphitic carbons in the view of graphitic domains and the structure changes in their K-ion intercalation compounds. Then, we summarize the preparation mechanisms and characterizations of graphitic carbons and the influence factors in their degree of graphitization. Furtherly, we illustrate the strategies to optimize their K-ion storage properties from four aspects, namely graphitic domain design, microstructure engineering, electrochemical active component regulation, and defect engineering. Finally, we propose the issues that urgently need to be solved in graphitic carbons and the possible solutions. We hope that this view could offer some inspiration for the further designing and optimizing of graphitic carbons for practical KIBs.

The Cretaceous was a significant greenhouse period in Earth's history with higher atmospheric CO_(2) levels and temperatures than today. Although evidence of combustion has been widely described from the Cretaceous deposits, our understanding of the spatiotemporal diversification pattern and process of the Cretaceous wildfires is still limited. In this study, we comprehensively synthesize a total of 271 published Cretaceous wildfire occurrences based on the by-products of burning, including fossil charcoal, pyrogenic inertinite(fossil charcoal in coal), and pyrogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs). Spatially, the dataset shows a distinctive distribution of reported wildfire evidence characterized by high concentration in the middle latitudinal areas of the Northern Hemisphere(30°N-60°N) over the Cretaceous. Temporally, an overall increasing trend of the reported wildfire data from the Early Cretaceous to the Late Cretaceous is coincident with higher atmospheric O_(2) levels. However, the spatial and temporal patterns may result from many types of factors, such as taphonomy, preservation, and researcher biases, instead of a real picture of the Cretaceous wildfire evolution. To better understand the spatiotemporal diversification of the Cretaceous wildfire, more investigations on the record of wildfire occurrences during this period would be necessary in the future.

Interfacial water molecules are the most important participants in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Hence,understanding the behavior and role that interfacial water plays will ultimately reveal the HER ***,investigating interfacial water is extremely challenging owing to the interference caused by bulk water molecules and complexity of the interfacial ***,the behaviors of interfacial water in different cationic electrolytes on Pd surfaces were investigated by the electrochemistry,in situ core-shell nanostructure enhanced Raman spectroscopy and theoretical simulation *** spectral evidence reveals a red shift in the frequency and a decrease in the intensity of interfacial water as the potential is shifted in the positively *** comparing the different cation electrolyte systems at a given potential,the frequency of the interfacial water peak increases in the specified order:Li+ructure of interfacial water was optimized by adjusting the radius,valence,and concentration of cation to form the two-H down *** unique interfacial water structure will improve the charge transfer efficiency between the water and electrode further enhancing the HER ***,local cation tuning strategies can be used to improve the HER performance by optimizing the interfacial water structure.

Near-infrared(NIR)phosphor-converted light-emitting diodes/laser diodes(LEDs/LDs)are prospective lighting sources for NIR ***,developing NIR phosphor materials with desired thermal robustness and high photoelectric efficiency is a crucial challenge for their *** this work,based on the cationic radius matching effect,a series of(Lu,Y)_(3)(Al,Sc,Cr)_(2)Al_(3)O_(12)NIR phosphor ceramics(LuYScCr NIR-PCs)were fabricated by vacuum *** thermal stability(95%@150℃)was obtained in the prepared NIR-PCs,owing to their weak electron-phonon coupling effect(small Huang-Rhys factor).Being excited at 460 nm,NIR-PCs realized a broadband emission(650-850 nm)with internal quantum efficiency(IQE)of 60.68%.Combining NIR-PCs with LED/LD chips,the maximum output power of the encapsulated LED prototype was 447 mW@300 mA with photoelectric efficiency of as high as 18.6%@180 mA,and the maximum output power of the LD prototype was 814 mW@2.5 *** working temperatures of NIR-PCs were 70.8℃@300 mA(LED)and 102.8℃@3 A(LD).Finally,the prepared NIR-PCs applied in food detection were verified in this study,demonstrating their anticipated application prospects in the future.
