A series of basic nitrogen doped carbon hollow spheres(p-N-C) catalysts derived from waste tires were prepared by a green, facile and environmental “leavening” strategy for the catalytic oxidation of pentanethiol. Compared to pristine carbon, the p-N-C has a higher surface curvature conducive to the enrichment of substrates, leading to an excellent catalytic performance. This increased surface curvature of p-N-C was fabricated on the synergistic effect of two foaming agents((NH4)2 C2 O4 and NaHCO3), and the released gas also endows the spherical shell of p-N-C with a hierarchical porous structure, promoting the accessibility of active sites with pentanethiol. Pyridine-like and pyrrolic-like nitrogen atoms were investigated as reactive sites on the p-N-C to accelerate the electron transfer from sulfur to active surface oxygen and enhance the adsorption/oxidation process. As a result, the optimal p-N-C catalyst exhibits superior adsorption and oxidation performance(99.9%) of pentanethiol, outperforming the “unleavened”catalyst(20.8%). This work offers a new avenue for the fabrication of highly efficient materials for the desulfurization of fuel.

Unique inter-skeleton conductive films are constructed in polymer *** resistance change of the foam can reach four orders of magnitude under *** foam exhibits strain-adaptive electromagnetic interference shielding performance, anti-interference pressure sensor with high sensitivity over a wide pressure range and compression-regulated Joule heating function. Conductive polymer foam (CPF) with excellent compressibility and variable resistance has promising applications in electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and other integrated functions for wearable electronics. However, its insufficient change amplitude of resistance with compressive strain generally leads to a degradation of shielding performance during deformation. Here, an innovative loading strategy of conductive materials on polymer foam is proposed to significantly increase the contact probability and contact area of conductive components under compression. Unique inter-skeleton conductive films are constructed by loading alginate-decorated magnetic liquid metal on the polymethacrylate films hanged between the foam skeleton (denoted as AMLM-PM foam). Traditional point contact between conductive skeletons under compression is upgraded to planar contact between conductive films. Therefore, the resistance change of AMLM-PM reaches four orders of magnitude under compression. Moreover, the inter-skeleton conductive films can improve the mechanical strength of foam, prevent the leakage of liquid metal and increase the scattering area of EM wave. AMLM-PM foam has strain-adaptive EMI shielding performance and shows compression-enhanced shielding effectiveness, solving the problem of traditional CPFs upon compression. The upgrade of resistance response also enables foam to achieve sensitive pressure sensing over a wide pressure range and compression-regulated Joule heating function.

Performance analysis of mobile ad hoc networks under flooding attacks

Due to their characteristics of dynamic topology, wireless channels and limited resources, mobile ad hoc networks are particularly vulnerable to a denial of service （DoS） attacks launched by intruders. The effects of flooding attacks in network simulation 2 （NS2） and measured performance parameters are investigated, including packet loss ratio, average delay, throughput and average number of hops under different numbers of attack nodes, flooding frequency, network bandwidth and network size. Simulation results show that with the increase of the flooding frequency and the number of attack nodes, network performance sharply drops. But when the frequency of flooding attacks or the number of attack nodes is greater than a certain value, performance degradation tends to a stable value.

A novel topology low-voltage high precision current reference based on subthreshold Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors （MOSFETs） is presented. The circuit achieves a temperature-independent reference current by a proper combination current of two first-order temperature-compensation current references, which exploit the temperature characteristics of integrated poly2 resistors and the 1- V transconductance characteristics of MOSFET operating in the subthreshold region. The circuit, designed with the 1 st silicon 0.35 μm standard CMOS logic process technology, exhibits a stable current of about 2.25 μA with much low temperature coefficient of 3 × 10^-4μA/℃ in the temperature range of-40-150 ℃ at 1 V supply voltage, and also achieves a better power supply rejection ratio （PSRR） over a broad frequency. The PSRR is about -78 dB at DC and remains -42 dB at the frequency higher than 10 MHz. The maximal process error is about 6,7% based on the Monte Carlo simulation. So it has good process compatibility.
