Deep learning (DL) has seen an exponential development in recent years, with major impact in many medical fields, especially in the field of medical image. The purpose of the work converges in determining the importance of each component, describing the specificity and correlations of these elements involved in achieving the precision of interpretation of medical images using DL. The major contribution of this work is primarily to the updated characterisation of the characteristics of the constituent elements of the deep learning process, scientific data, methods of knowledge incorporation, DL models according to the objectives for which they were designed and the presentation of medical applications in accordance with these tasks. Secondly, it describes the specific correlations between the quality, type and volume of data, the deep learning patterns used in the interpretation of diagnostic medical images and their applications in medicine. Finally presents problems and directions of future research. Data quality and volume, annotations and labels, identification and automatic extraction of specific medical terms can help deep learning models perform image analysis tasks. Moreover, the development of models capable of extracting unattended features and easily incorporated into the architecture of DL networks and the development of techniques to search for a certain network architecture according to the objectives set lead to performance in the interpretation of medical images.

目的：评价穴位埋线治疗腰椎间盘突出症的疗效与安全性。方法：检索中国知网数据库、维普中文科技期刊数据库、中国生物医学文献数据库、万方数据库;MeDLINe、Cochrane Library等数据库,数据库不能得到的文献通过广州中医药大学图书馆手工检索获得,收集穴位埋线治疗腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)的临床随机对照试验,检索日期截止至2014年1月,对符合纳入标准的文献,以Cochrane系统评价手册和改良后的JADAD量表进行质量评价。结果：本研究共纳入10篇文献,发表时间为2006-2014年,治疗人数共计925例腰椎盘突出症患者。治愈率评价,10个研究表明穴位埋线组与对照组,异质性检验p=0.06>0.05,采用固定效应模式,RR合并=1.64,95%CI[1.41,1.91],Z=6.50(pp=0.25>0.05,采用固定效应模式,MD合并=3.08,95%CI[2.52,3.64],Z=10.72(p<0.00001);VAS量表评分评价,1项研究表明埋线组对照电针VAS评分差异有统计学意义[MD=3.27,95%CI [0.68,6.86]],1项研究表明埋线对照电针+红外VAS评分差异有统计学意义[MD=O.57,95%CI[0.37,0.77]],1项研究表明埋线+针刺对照针刺VAS评分差异有统计学意义[MD=2.10,95%CI[1.61,2.59]];ODI量表评分评价,1项研究表明埋线对照电针+红外ODI评分差异有统计学意义[MD=1.59,95%CI[0.04,3.14]],1项研究表明埋线+针刺对照针刺VAS评分差异有统计学意义[MD=20.89,95%CI [14.19,27.59]];10项研究均没有不良事件的报道。结论：穴位埋线治疗腰椎间盘突出症(LDH)是安全的。对照普通针刺、电针、理疗等传统疗法疗效显著,在缓解腰痛、改善腰腿功能障碍、提高日常生活质量方面优于非埋线组。但是由于纳入的研究文献有限且都为低质量文献,小样本随机对照实验,使得研究结果的论证强度降低,还需高质量、大样本、随机对照试验进一步进行研究。

Nutrients and Trace elements in a pig Farm in Beijing： Chinese and German Recommendations

emergence of Chinese economy together with the current Livestock Revolution in Asia have led to an increase of meat demands, specially pork that is reflected in the growth of commercial pig farms in peri-urban areas of Beijing, capital of people"s Republic of China. In the framework of the International Research Training Group and of the Sino-project Recycling of Organic Residues from Agricultural and Municipal Origin in China, the status quo of a large pig farm is researched. The first phase of the project was focused on a detailed description of the nutrients and trace elements contained in the main inputs (water, feed) and outputs (manure, wastewater) of the pig farm. The compliance with the Chinese national standards or often referred to as GB standards (in Chinese "GuoBiao") and, current German recommendations were included. The analysis of nutrients and trace minerals followed the natural structure of the pig life cycle, i. e., gestation, farrowing, weaning and fattening. The main results showed that the pig drinking water met the recommendations for livestock drinking water, ground water and human drinking water. Concentrations of Zn, Cu, Mn and As in the pig feeds samples displayed higher values compared to the Chinese and German recommendations. Average values of trace elements in the pig manure did not surpass the Chinese and German recommendations of biowastes, however, some manure samples showed excessive concentrations of Cd, Cu and Zn. Likewise, pb, Cd, Cr, Cu and Zn concentrations in the wastewater surpassed the recommendations for irrigation water.

There is an increasing interest in food plant with health-giving effects. The aim of this research was to evaluate the phytochemical and nutraceutical profiles of Cyclanthera pedata fruits, a native fruit of the Andean region used by Incas communities called achojcha. Soluble protein (Sp), total sugar (TS), free phenolic compounds (FpC), ascorbic acid (AA), total monomeric anthocyanin (TMA), condensed and hydrolizable tannin (CT, HT) were evaluated by sprectrophotometric methods in fresh fruits with and without heating and in flour obtained from fruits. Multielemental composition by ICp-MS was done. Antioxidant activity (AOA) was determined by ABTS and Linoleic acid-b-carotene methods. The inhibitory capacity of LOX, a pro-inflammatory enzyme was also analyzed. The achojcha fresh fruits and achojcha flour showed low amount calories. The flour was high in potassium (7400 mg·K/100 g) and low in sodium (77 mg Na/100 g). High levels of FpC (670 mg GAe/100 g) were found together with elevated levels of AA (123 mg AA/ 100 g). The TMA (0.6 mg C3-Ge/100 g) as well as HT (3.4 mg pB2e/100 g) were also detected in flour. All preparations obtained with fresh and dried fruits showed AOA with SC50 values between 1.8 to 14.5 μg GAe/mL. Inhibitory capacity on LOX was also demonstrated (IC50 values of 40 μg GAe/mL). The fresh fruits and flour showed nutraceutical characteristics that are demanded by functional food and could be used as dietary supplement.

psidium guajava fruits are consumed fresh or processed (beverages, syrup, ice cream, jams and jellies). Guayaba is a fruit highly perishable and susceptible to damage during the postharvest. One strategy to overcome this problem is its processing by using techniques that preserve its organoleptic, nutritive and functional properties and allow getting food with added value. The purpose of this study was to obtain flour from fresh fruits cultivated in Argentina Northwestern by lyophilization and to determine the antioxidant activity and the main phytochemicals present in fresh fruits and flour. Nutritional composition (sugar, protein and fat) and the bioactive phytochemicals (total phenolic compounds, flavonoid phenolic, condensed and hydrolizable tannin, ascorbic acid, pigments such as anthocyanin and carotenoids) as well as fiber content, were evaluated. The flour preserved flavor, aroma and color of pulp from fresh fruits. The flour contained around 30% of sugar, 20% of total protein, 0.5% of fat and high level of crude fiber. Carotenoids and ascorbic acid were the dominant phytochemicals in flour as well as in fresh fruits. The guayaba flour showed antioxidant activity with SC50 values similar to fresh fruits. The flour showed nutraceutical characteristics that are demanded by functional food and could be used as a dietary supplement.

Comprehensive untargeted and targeted analysis of root exudate composition has advanced our understanding of rhizosphere ***,little is known about exudate spatial distribution and *** studied the specific metabolite signatures of asparagus root exudates,root outer(epidermis and exodermis),and root inner tissues(cortex and vasculature).The greatest differences were found between exudates and root *** total,263 non-redundant metabolites were identified as significantly differentially abundant between the three root fractions,with the majority being enriched in the root exudate and/or outer tissue and annotated as‘lipids and lipid-like molecules’or‘phenylpropanoids and polyketides’.Spatial distribution was verified for three selected compounds using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry ***-specific proteome analysis related root tissue-specific metabolite distributions and rhizodeposition with underlying biosynthetic pathways and transport *** proteomes of root outer and inner tissues were spatially very distinct,in agreement with the fundamental differences between their functions and *** to KeGG pathway analysis,the outer tissue proteome was characterized by a high abundance of proteins related to‘lipid metabolism’,‘biosynthesis of other secondary metabolites’and‘transport and catabolism’,reflecting its main functions of providing a hydrophobic barrier,secreting secondary metabolites,and mediating water and nutrient *** more abundant in the inner tissue related to‘transcription’,‘translation’and‘folding,sorting and degradation’,in accord with the high activity of cortical and vasculature cell layers in growth-and development-related *** summary,asparagus root fractions accumulate specific *** expands our knowledge of tissue-specific plant cell function.

以计算机为基础的多媒体技术的发展为学习提供了新的具有重要潜在优势的学习环境，对多媒体环境下学习过程和学习效果的研究是近年来教育技术研究的重要主题。本文作者Richard ***是美国著名心理学家，多年来致力于多媒体学刁的研究，做了大量的实证性实验，探讨多媒体环境如何帮助学习者理解对因果系统的科学解释，怎样运用词汇和图像来帮助学习者理解和掌握科学学习系统的有关问题等。Mayer在大量实证研究和实验结果的基础上，根据双重编码理论、认知负载理论和建构主义学习理论，提出了多媒体学习的认知理论。基于这一理论，作者认为：所有的多媒体资源都能够向学习者传播信息，但并不能说这些资源都能够成功促进理解能力的提高和有意义学刁。利用多媒体认知理论和多媒体学习的辅助效应，一方面可以指导多媒体环境下学习的研究以及设计多媒体学习资源，另一方面也为我们教育技术研究方法提供了借鉴和参考。

The aim of this research was to evaluate the phytochemical profiles of flour from red, yellow and green fruits of Capsicum pubescens (commun name: locoto) and compare with “locoto” commercial powder (Lcp). Soluble protein (Sp), total sugar (TS), free phenolic compounds (FpC), ascorbic acid (AA), total monomeric anthocyanin (TMA), condensed and hydrolizable tannin (CT, HT) and carotenoids (C) were determined by spectrophotometric methods. Multielemental composition by ICp-MS was also done. The flour showed low amounts of calories and high potassium and low sodium levels. Flour from “locoto” fruits contained mainly carotenoids (0.82 to 20 g eβ-C/100g DW), polyphenolic compounds (681 - 822 mg GAe/100g DW) and ascorbic acid (100 - 199 mg AA/100g DW). The polyphenolic profile of Lcp was similar to flour obtained in our laboratory but the level of carotenoid was lower than that of flour. The fiber content of flour was around 3% in all cases. All preparations obtained from flour and Lcp showed antioxidant activity with SC50 values between 1.4 and 3 μg GAe/mL. Inhibitory capacity on Lipo-oxygenase enzyme was also demonstrated. Non mutagenic effect was detected. The “locoto” flour showed nutraceutical characteristics that are demanded by functional food and could be used as a dietary supplement.

Comparison of the liver stiffness measurement by transient elastography with the liver biopsy

AIM: To compare the liver stiffness (LS) measurement by transient elastography (Te) to the liver biopsy (LB)-considered the "gold standard" in the evaluation of patients with chronic hepatitis C. MeTHODS: During a period of 12 mo, we evaluated 199 consecutive patients with chronic hepatitis due to hepatitis C virus (HCV), in which LB and LS assessments (by means of Te) were performed during the same session. ReSULTS: Out of 199 patients, a valid measurement of the LS could not be obtained in 8. The mean value of LS in the cohort of 191 valid measurements was 8.45 ± 4.96 kpa, ranging from 2.3 to 38 kpa. The mean value of LS in patients with signifi cant fi brosis at biopsy (161 patients with F ≥ 2 according to Metavir) was 9.02 ± 5.15 kpa, significantly higher than in patients with no or mild fi brosis (30 patients with F etavir): 5.39 ± 1.81 kpa (p e of 6.8 kpa, the LS had a ppV of 98%, a NpV of 30.1%, a sensitivity of 59.6% and a specificity of 93.3% for the presence of signifi cant fi brosis (at least F2 Metavir), with a diagnostic performance of 77.3% (AUROC 0.773). Using this cut-off value, we reached the best discrimination between absence of fibrosis/ mild fibrosis (F etavir) and the presence ofmoderate to severe fi brosis (F ≥ 2 Metavir). CONCLUSION: In patients with chronic hepatitis due to HCV, a cut-off value of 6.8 kpa measured by Te can differentiate between significant fibrosis and absent or mild fi brosis, with a ppV of 98%, a NpV of 30.1%, a sensitivity of 59.6%, a specificity of 93.3%, and a diagnostic performance of 77.3%.
