The present work proposes a m.an for recovery of m.tals used in current ion-lithium.batteries, like lithium. cobalt and nickel, using organic agents and ultrasound instead of the m.re aggressive and less environm.nt friendly m.thod with sulfuric acid. This is especially useful in those countries that doesn’t have lithium.deposits and have a growing dem.nd of such batteries, reducing the econom.c loss this represents. During the process, variables such as tem.erature, leaching agent concentration and ultrasound frequency were m.dified, using concentrations of 0.5 m.(m.lar), 1 m.and 1.5 m.of sodium.citrate, tem.eratures of 25°C, 55°C and 60°C and also ultrasound frequencies of 20 KHz, 30 KHz and 40 KHz. It was found that the best com.ination of these variables that yielded the m.st quantity of the desired m.tal was 0.5 m.concentration for both lithium.and nickel, while using 60°C and no ultrasound with Li and 55°C and 40 KHz for Ni. For Co the best variables discovered were 1.5 m.lar concentration, 60°C and 40 KHz.

In sim.lations of fluidized beds using com.utational fluid dynam.cs （CFD）, the description of gas-solid flow hydrodynam.cs relies on a drag m.del to account for the m.m.ntum.transfer between gas and solid phases. Although several studies of drag m.dels have been published, there have been few investigations of the application of lattice Boltzm.nn m.thod （LBm.-based drag m.dels to bubbling fluidized bed sim.- lations. In the present study, a com.rehensive com.arison of em.irical and LBm.based drag m.dels was carried out to assess the perform.nce of these m.dels during sim.lations of gas-solid flow hydrodynam. ics in a bubbling fluidized bed. A CFD m.del using the m.IX code based on the Eulerian-Eulerian approach and the kinetic theory of granular flow was used to sim.late a 2D bubbling fluidized bed with Geldart B particles. The sim.lation results were validated by com.arison with experim.ntal data. Statistical anal- ysis of the results shows that LBm.based drag m.dels can reliably m.del gas-solid flow hydrodynam.cs in a bubbling fluidized bed.

Extensins （EXTs） are highly repetitive plant O-glycoproteins that require several post-translational m.difi- cations （PTm.） to becom. functional in plant cell walls. First, they are hydroxylated on contiguous proline residues; then they are O-glycosylated on hydroxyproline and serine. After secretion into the apoplast, O-glycosylated EXTs form.a tridim.nsional network organized by inter- and intra-Tyr linkages. Recent studies have m.de significant progress in the identification of the enzym.tic m.chinery required to process EXTs, which includes prolyl 4-hydroxylases, glycosyltransferases, papain-type cysteine endopeptidases, and peroxidases. EXTs are abundant in plant tissues and are particularly im.ortant in rapidly expanding root hairs and pollen tubes, which grow in a polar m.nner. Sm.ll changes in EXT PTm. affect fastgrowing cells, although the m.lecular m.chanism. underlying this regulation are unknown. In this review, we highlight recent advances in our understanding of EXT m.difications throughout the secretory pathway, EXT assem.ly in cell walls, and possible sensing m.chanism. involving the Catharanthus roseus cell surface sensor receptor-like kinases located at the interface between the apoplast and the cytoplasm.c side of the plasm. m.m.rane.

The effect of different gelling agents and processing for jam.production from.pom.granate juice was evaluated. In the last years, different gelling agents were tested for im.roving jam.quality in term. of color and bioactive com.ounds. The unsonicated and sonicated pom.granate juices were processed for jam.production by m.crowaves, under vacuum.and cryoconcentration concentration m.thods using low and high m.thoxy pectins, and carob seed flour as gelling agents. The polyphenols content of sonicated jam.was significantly lower than unsonicated sam.les and cryoconcentrated jam. showed the significantly highest value am.ng other m.thods. The results showed the highest anthocyanin content in the both sonicated and unsonicated jam.including carob seed flour and antocyanins content of the cryoconcentrated sam.les was in the range of 156.6-186.2 m./kg, and revealed higher content com.ared to the other processed *** findings showed that cryoconcentrated m.thod is m.re effective in preserving the total polyphenols, anthocyanins, vitam.n C and antioxidant activity. m.reover, also the colour of cryoconcentrated pom.granade jam.was preserved. Cryoconcentration is a prom.sing m.thod for preserving organoleptic and functional properties of the jam.produced from.pom.granate juice.

Euclidean Clifford analysis is a higher dim.nsional function theory centred around m.nogenic functions, i.e., null solutions to a first order vector valued rotation in- variant differential operator called the Dirac operator. m.re recently, Herm.tian Clifford analysis has em.rged as a new branch, offering yet a refinem.nt of the Euclidean case; it focuses on the sim.ltaneous null solutions, called Herm.tian m.nogenic functions, to two Herm.tian Dirac operators and which are invariant under the action of the unitary group. In Euclidean Clifford analysis, the Teodorescu operator is the right inverse of the Dirac operator __0. In this paper, Teodorescu operators for the Herm.tian Dirac operators c9~_ and 0_~, are constructed. m.reover, the structure of the Euclidean and Herm.tian Teodor- escu operators is revealed by analyzing the m.re subtle behaviour of their com.onents. Finally, the obtained inversion relations are still refined for the differential operators is- suing from.the Euclidean and Herm.tian Dirac operators by splitting the Clifford algebra product into its dot and wedge parts. Their relationship with several com.lex variables theory is discussed.

To understand the interaction of fly ash and m.rcury, system.tic experim.nts on m.rcury oxidation in single flue gas com.osition are conducted on a fixed bed reactor system. the desorption rate and speciation of m.rcury are valuated. The results indicate that fly ash itself can significantly prom.te elem.ntal m.rcury oxidation. A classification of fly ash activated sites is developed according to the speciation of m.rcury during adsorption-desorption tests, the reaction m.chanism.of m.rcury oxidation by fly ash is proposed. Acid gas can prom.te m.rcury oxidation and im.rove the stability of oxidation product. Lattice oxygen is an im.ortant oxidant of m.rcury oxidation.

X-ray powder diffraction,scanning electron m.croscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,therm.gravim.try,differential scanning calorim.try,and m.ss spectrom.try have been used to study the products of nickel-containing pyrrhotite tailings oxidation by oxygen in the *** kinetic triplets of oxidation,nam.ly,activation energy(E_(a)),pre-exponential factor(A),and reaction m.del(f(α))being a function of the conversion degree(α),were adjusted by regression *** case of a two-stage process representation,the first step proceeds under autocatalysis control and ends atα=*** kinetic triplet in the first step is E_(a)=262.2 kJ/m.l,lg A=14.53 s^(−1),and f(α)=(1-α)^(4.11)(1+1.51×10^(-4)α).For the second step,the process is controlled by the two-dim.nsional diffusion of the reactants in the layer of oxidation *** kinetic triplet in the second step isЕa=215.0 kJ/m.l,lg A=10.28 s^(−1),and f(α)=(-ln(1-α))^(-1).The obtained em.irical form.lae for the rate of pyrrhotite tailings oxidation reliably describe the m.cro-m.chanism.of the process and can be used to design autom.tization system. for roast-ing these m.terials.
