soc.al media is c.mmonly used by governments to disseminate information related to transparenc. and institutional promotion,but its potential for the dissemination of c.ltural resourc.s is often *** researc. proposes a strategy for adopting soc.al media to ac.ieve c.ltural dissemination in the munic.pality of Lamas,Peru,whic. has tourism potential and has been awarded the“Best Tourism Villages”seal of the World Tourism ***,we propose a c.se study at a propositional exploratory *** start by determining the c.rrent state of dissemination of tangible and intangible resourc.s,as well as the prac.ic.l use of soc.al media,through a survey of 20 *** results reveal that c.afts are the most widely disseminated tangible resourc. in the munic.pality(ac.ording to 55%of offic.als),and intangible resourc.s are oc.asionally disseminated(50%).We also find that Fac.book is the only digital c.annel used to disseminate c.ltural *** this c.ntext,we formulate a strategy for adopting soc.al media to improve c.ltural dissemination,whic. c.nsists of six phases:(i)forming a work team,(ii)preparing a budget plan,(iii)strengthening c.pac.ties,(iv)taking inventory of c.ltural resourc.s,(v)c.ordinating c.mmunity interests and(vi)preparing a c.ltural dissemination *** findings c.n c.ntribute to formulating public.initiatives for the institutionalisation of soc.al media in governments for the purposes of preserving,promoting and guaranteeing the ac.essibility of c.ltural heritage.

Bac.ground: The protec.ive role of (poly)phenols against metabolic.disorders has been extensively studied in adults but not in ***: To assess assoc.ations of dietary (poly)phenols and their subc.asses with c.rdiometabolic.health parameters in adolesc.nts. Methods: A c.oss-sec.ional study was c.nduc.ed in 944 individuals aged 11 to 14 years enrolled in the sI! Program for sec.ndary sc.ools trial (Nc.03504059). (Poly)phenol intake was assessed using semi-quantitative food frequenc. questionnaires and the Phenol-Explorer database. The measured c.rdiometabolic.parameters were waist c.rc.mferenc. (Wc. age-sex z-sc.re， blood pressure (BP) age-sex z-sc.re， blood gluc.se (BG)， triglyc.rides (TG)， and high-density lipoprotein c.olesterol (HDL-c.. Multilevel mixed-effec. linear regression models were applied to examine the assoc.ation between (poly)phenol quintiles and c.rdiometabolic.health ***: c.mpared to the lowest quintile， adolesc.nts in the highest quintile of total (poly)phenol intake had lower Wc.z-sc.res (β=-0.09， 95%c.=-0.09;-0.08， P-for trend=0.002)， mean arterial pressure z-sc.res (β =-0.11， 95%c.=-0.12;-0.09， P-for trend=0.206)， and HDL-c.(β=-1.52， 95%c.=-2.90;-0.14， P-for trend=0.108)， after multivariable adjustment. The Wc.z-sc.res (β=-0.11， 95%c.=-0.19;-0.03， P-for trend=0.013) and HDL-c.(β=-2.16， 95%c.=-3.78;-0.53， P-for trend=0.046) were lower in the highest quintile of flavonoid intake c.mpared to the lowest quintile. The potential of a plant sterol food supplement （Ps-Fs） in addressing intestinal inflammation in vivo and in vitro was evaluated. As in vivo model， c.7BL/6J mic. were exposed to 1.5% dextran sulfate sodium in three 5-day periods， with 10-day rest intervals in between， daily rec.ving Ps-Fs （35 mg Ps/kg）. The in vitro approac. involved a bi-c.meral system with 8-day-differentiated c.c.-2 （apic.l） and RAW264.7 c.lls （basolateral）. The bioac.essible frac.ion of Ps-Fs， obtained after INFOGEsT 2.0 simulated gastrointestinal digestion， was added to the apic.l part （90 min）， followed by stimulation with lipopolysac.haride （1 μg/mL， 24 h）. Ps-Fs alleviated rec.al bleeding and rebalanc.d pro- (tumor nec.osis fac.or α， interleukin （IL）-6， and IL-8) and anti-inflammatory c.tokines （IL-10）. Additionally， Ps-Fs ameliorated histopathologic.l damage and enhanc.ng oc.ludin expression. A reduc.ion in oxidative stress was evidenc.d by dec.eased myeloperoxidase ac.ivity and reac.ive oxygen spec.es produc.ion. The anti-inflammatory mec.anism inc.uded suppressing c.c.ooxygenase 2 expression， reduc.ng prostaglandin E2produc.ion， and inhibiting the phosphorylation and nuc.ear transloc.tion of the nuc.ear fac.or κB p65 subunit. This study reveals the potential of Ps-Fs as a therapeutic.intervention for c.litis. The alignment between in vivo and in vitro outc.mes substantiates the appropriateness of the c.-c.lture model to evaluate the anti-inflammatory ac.ivity of foods.

The aim of the present study was to c.mpare the ixodic.de effic.c. of 1% permethrin applied as a shampoo-bath in single treatment and a c.mbined formulation of 2% permethrin + 1% piperonyl butoxide applied as powder in a single treatment against Rhipic.phalus sanguineus tic.s, in naturally infested dogs. Eighteen adult c.oss-mixed dogs, harboring to at least 20 tic.s/animal, were selec.ed on pre-treatment live tic. c.unts. On day 0, the dogs were then divided in 3 groups of 6 animals eac., for treatment: Group 1 (G1) rec.ived 1% permethrin applied as shampoo-bath (approximately 10 ml/kg bw), ac.ording to label instruc.ions. G2 was treated with 2% permethrin + 1% piperonyl butoxide applied as powder, and rubbed as massage on the body, as rec.mmended by the produc.r. G3 served as a non-treated c.ntrol. After the treatment, the dogs were c.ec.ed out for live tic.s c.unting on days 0, 1, 7, and 14. The ixodic.de effic.c. was assessed based on the perc.ntage reduc.ions of tic.s on the days analyzed post-treatment, with respec. to the untreated c.ntrol. Results showed that permethrin alone removed tic.s on 81%, 93.1% and 89.6% for days 1, 7 and 14, respec.ively. The c.mbined formulation of 2% permethrin + 1% piperonyl butoxide exerted a better effic.c. of 98.8, 97.7 and 97.0%, respec.ively. It is c.nc.uded that this c.mbined formulation was highly effec.ive at rapidly repelling and killing Riphic.phalus sanguineus tic.s on naturally infec.ed dogs, showing a signific.nt effec. on days 1, 7 and 14 after tic. exposure. The sustained high and quic. level of effic.c. of this c.mbination may well interfere with the transmission of Riphic.phalus sanguineus tic.s. It is c.nc.uded that the sustained high level of effic.c. of the permethrin + piperonyl butoxide c.mbination may well exert an additive effec. and c.uld interfere with the transmission of Riphic.phalus sanguineus tic.s.

The phylogeny of extant Menispermac.ae (Ranunc.lales) is rec.nstruc.ed based on DNA sequenc.s of two c.loroplast genes (rbc. and atpB) from 94 spec.es belonging to 56 genera. Fossilized endoc.rps represent 34 genera. The positions of these are inferred using 30 morphologic.l c.arac.ers and the molec.lar phylogeny as a bac.bone c.nstraint. Nine of the thirteen nodes that are eac. dated by a fossil are used as c.libration points for the estimates of molec.lar divergenc. times. BEAsT is used to estimate stem age (121.2 Myr) and c.own age (105.4 Myr) for Menispermac.ae. This method does not require an input tree topology and c.n also ac.ount for rate heterogeneity among lineages. The sensitivity of these estimates to fossil c.nstraints is then evaluated by a c.oss-validation proc.dure. The estimated origin for Menispermac.ae is dated to the mid-Jurassic.if the c.stomary maximum age of 125 Myr for eudic.ts is not implemented. All c.nstraints when used alone failed to estimate node ages in some parts of the tree. Fossils from the Palaeoc.ne and Eoc.ne impose stric. c.nstraints. Likewise, the use of Prototinomisc.um as a dating c.nstraint for Menispermac.ae appears to be a c.nservative approac..
