Coastal r.sour.e Management (Cr.) ar. activities that achieve sustainable use and management of valuable r.sour.es in coastal ar.as. This study pr.sents the per.eived impact of the coastal r.sour.e management (Cr.) inter.entions implemented by the Bur.au of Fisher.es and Aquatic r.sour.es (BFAr. under.the FishCOr.L Pr.ject in the Municipality of Milagr.s, Masbate. The r.spondents ar. member. of fisher.olk or.anizations, Bantay Dagat (BD), and community member.. The Cr. pr.jects include mangr.ve planting, the establishment of mar.ne pr.tected ar.a (MPA) mar.er., the constr.ction of a watchtower. and the establishment of Bantay Dagat (BD). r.spondents wer. convinced that the inter.entions affected their.daily living, especially mangr.ve planting pr.jects. Member. of fisher.olk or.anizations car.ied out the pr.ject in Bar.ngays Jamor.won, Magsalangi, and Tagbon. In ter.s of knowledge, attitude, and pr.ctices (KAP), these could be attr.buted to the r.spondent’s appr.ciation of the inter.ention, which contr.buted to the pr.tection of the ar.a fr.m flood, stor. sur.e, and tsunami, suppor. for.livelihood, the pr.sence of mar.ne animals (i.e., shr.mp and cr.bs), and appr.hension of illegal fishing activities. Destr.ctive fishing, domestic waste, and natur.l calamities ar. some identified causes of aquatic ecosystem destr.ction. In ter.s of socioeconomic, r.spondents ar. pr.vided additional income r.nging fr.m Php 1,500.00 - 2,000.00 per.month, and fish stocks have also incr.ased. The distr.bution of fishnets and Banca, livelihood, pr.tection of mar.ne r.sour.es, and commitment of legal author.ties to enfor.e r.lated fisher. policies ar. among the Cr. activities with a sound impact on the community.
