Objective:To systematically review the clinical practice guidelines for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients with Chinese herbal medicine(CHM),summarize their recommendations and evaluate their ***:Electronic databases,websites of governments,academic associations or organizations for eligible guidelines were searched up to April *** were extracted to summarize recommendations for the use of Chinese herbal formulae and Chinese patent medicine(CPM)for COVID-19 *** methodological quality and reporting quality of the included guidelines were independently evaluated,using the Appraisal of Guidelines for REsearch and Evaluation(AGREE)Ⅱtool and Reporting Items for Practice Guidelines in healthcare(RIGHT)statement,***:Totally 45 guidelines were identififi ed:42(93%)suggested specific CM formulae for treating COVID-19 patients;and 35(78%)assigned patients diagnosed with COVID-19 to 4 stages(early,development,critical and recovery).The recommended formulae and CPMs for each stage with diverse syndrome types have been *** of the included guidelines were of low methodological quality,with only one achieving moderate quality of AGREEⅡ.The frequency with which the 35 items in the Reporting Items for Practice Guidelines in Healthcare(RIGHT)checklist were reported averaged 36.5%across the 45 ***:This systematic review has summarized current recommendations for treating COVID-19 patients with CHM and shows that the general quality of present guidelines is quite *** development of future guidelines should include increased awareness of the features of good quality guidelines.

Efficacy and safety of sofosbuvir and daclatasvir in treatment of kidney transplantation recipients with hepatitis C virus infection

AIM To assess the efficacy and safety of sofosbuvir and daclatasvir regimens for kidney transplantation(KT) patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV) *** This study enrolled a prospective cohort of consecutive Chinese KT patients with HCV infection. They were given sofosbuvir combined with daclatasvir, with or without ribavirin. They were monitored regularly during and after the treatment. RESULTS Six patients were recruited in our prospective study cohort. All patients were male and naive to directacting antiviral treatment. The treatment duration was 12 wk. Most patients(4/6) were infected with HCV genotype 1b. HCV RNA was undetectable at week 4 after treatment and at the end of treatment in all patients. Sustained virological response rate at 12 wk was 100%(6/6). Two patients had to accept a half dose of sofosbuvir due to serum creatinine elevation during treatment. Kidney function in the remaining patients was stable. No serious adverse events(AEs) were observed. No patient discontinued antiviral therapy due to side effects. CONCLUSION Sofosbuvir and daclatasvir for treatment of KT recipients with HCV infection are highly efficient and safe. Patients tolerated the medications well, and no serious AEs were observed. Larger prospective cohort studies are needed to validate these results.

Chinese herbal formulae defend against Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection

Mycoplasma gallisepticum HS strain(MG-HS)is a pathogen that causes chronic respiratory disease(CRD)in chicken,which is characterized by host respiratory inflammatory damage,brings huge economic losses to the poultry ***,emerging Chinese herbal medicines(CHM)have been used to treat *** study was aimed to investigate the preventive and therapeutic effects and their potential mechanisms of Chinese herbal medicinal formulae(CHMF),which consisted of 10 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine including Scutellaria,Houttuynia cordate and licorice,on MGinduced CRD in *** respect to the preventive effect,the results showed that CHMF could effectively recover the MG-induced decrease on body weight and feed conversion *** analysis showed that both prevention and treatment of CHMF could significantly alleviate the severe respiratory inflammation induced by MG ***,compared with the MG infection group,both the prevention groups and the treatment groups of CHMF could effectively reduce the expression of MG adhesion protein(p MGA1.2)to inhibit the proliferation of MG,and thus effectively inhibit the expression of MG-induced inflammatory factors interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and tumour necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).In summary,these findings confirm that CHMF can protect chickens from various tissue damage caused by MG infection and has no adverse effects on the performance of chickens in the short *** its efficacy against MG is equal to or better than that of tiamulin.

Impact of Annealing on the Melt Recrystallization of a-PDLA/α-PLLA Double-layered Films

Poly(lactic acid)(PLA) as a bio-based polymer with biodegradability and biocompatibility has attracted much attention. To manipulate its properties for different applications, regulation of crystal structure and crystalline morphology becomes an attractive research topic. In this work, the structure evolution of layered samples containing an amorphous poly(D-lactide)(PDLA) layer and a crystalline poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)layer with highly oriented edge-on α lamellar crystals after annealing at 150 ℃ or/and after melt-recrystallization has been studied by AFM, FTIR,and TEM combined with electron diffraction. The results demonstrate that melt recrystallization of the as-prepared sample leads to the formation of abundant randomly oriented PLA stereo-complex(PLA SC) crystals. Annealing at 150 ℃ results in the formation of a small amount of oriented PLA SC crystals at the interface. These PLA SC crystals show great impact on the recrystallization behavior of sample after melting at 190 ℃ and then crystallizing at 90 ℃. First, they impede the mutual diffusion of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, and thus reduce their stereocomplexation ability as manifested by the decreased amount of PLA SC crystals. Second, they act as substrate to initiate the epitaxial crystallization of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, which ensures the production of a highly oriented structure of PDLA and PLLA after melt recrystallization again.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a common malignant tumor in *** years of efforts,there has been great progress in the management of liver cancer,but overall,it is still not *** present,there are many therapies for liver cancer,including surgical resection,transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE),ablation,molecular targeted therapy,stereotactic body radiation therapy,chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and so *** have reported that TACE combined with radiotherapy can shrink the tumor,and some of the remainder will be resectable,resulting in *** HCC with tumor thrombus,the tumor thrombus was reduced and then resected after neoadjuvant *** survival time of the patients with portal vein tumor thrombus was significantly longer than that of the patients without neoadjuvant *** liver cancer will be reduced to small liver cancer after comprehensive treatment,which can be transformed into stereotactic radiotherapy or radiofrequency ablation,and can also be palliative to radical *** and multidisciplinary therapy for liver cancer is the direction of future *** clinical evidence-based level of radiotherapy treatment of liver cancer should be done in the future.

Betulinic acid-mediating miRNA-365 inhibited the progression of pancreatic cancer

Background:The dilemma of pancreatic cancer treatment has become a global *** this reason,effective,feasible,and new medical methods are currently *** acid(BA)has been valued as a potential therapy for pancreatic ***,the mechanism by which BA exerts an inhibitory effect on the development of pancreatic cancer remains ***:A rat model and two cell models of pancreatic cancer were established,and the effect of BA on pancreatic cancer was verified in vivo and in vitro by using MTT,Transwell,flow cytometry,RT-PCR,Elisa and *** the same time,miR-365 inhibitors were introduced to test whether BA played a role in mediating ***:BA can significantly inhibit the proliferation and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells and promote *** vivo experiments,BA can significantly lower the number of cancer cells and tumor volume in the rat model of pancreatic *** vitro,it was found that BA inhibited the protein level and phosphorylation level of AKT/STAT3 by mediating the expression of miR365/BTG2/*** BA,miR-365 inhibitors also significantly inhibited cell viability and invasion ability,and inhibited the protein level and phosphorylation level of AKT/STAT3 by changing the expression of BTG2/IL-6,and their combination had a synergistic ***:BA inhibits AKT/STAT3 expression and phosphorylation by modulating miR-365/BTG2/IL-6 expression,and BA inhibits the progression of pancreatic cancer through the aforementioned mechanism.

Shale oil of the Qingshankou Formation of the Gulong Sag,the northern Songliao Basin,represents the first attempt at large-scale development of pure-shale-type shale oil in *** integrating the multiscale refined reservoir characterization with macro-micro-scale mechanical testing,it is clarified that the Gulong shale is characterized by high clay mineral content,high rock plasticity,highly-developed bedding,and prominent mechanical anisotropy.A three-dimensional(3D)fracture propagation model of hydraulic fracturing was built for the Gulong shale,which fully captures the hydraulic fracture distribution pattern affected by the high bedding density,in-situ stress,and fracturing treatment *** research showed that due to influences of bedding,hydraulic fracturing in the Gulong shale forms a complex fracture morphology featuring the main fracture with multiple perpendicular branches that have different lengths(like the outdoor directional TV antenna);however,the vertical propagation of fractures is inhibited,and the fracture height is commonly less than 10 *** limited stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)is the main problem facing the fracturing stimulation of the Gulong shale *** density has vital effects on fracture morphology,so case-specific fracturing designs shall be developed for shale intervals with different bedding development *** reservoirs with welldeveloped bedding,it is suggested to properly increase the perforation cluster spacing and raise the volume and proportions of viscous fluids of the pad,so as to effectively promote vertical fracture propagation and improve reservoir stimulation *** study integrates multi-scale fine reservoir characterization and macro-micro-scale mechanical testing,as well as the construction and numerical simulation of hydraulic fracturing models for high-density layered shale reservoirs,providing a new approach and methodological framework for the fracturing research of high-density layer

To achieve high power conversion efficiency(PCE),three porphyrin sensitizers have been synthesized and explored to simultaneously enhance the photocurrent(JSC)and photovoltage(VOC).On basis of the XW4,a benzothiadiazole(BTD)unit has been introduced to afford XW57 with the aim to extend the absorption wavelength and enhance the light harvesting *** a result,a JSC of 13.72 mA/cm^2 has been obtained for XW57,higher than that of *** this basis,XW58 has been prepared by modifying the carbazole-based donor with two bulky dihexyloxyphenyl groups,and the superior anti-aggregation character raises the VOC from 781 mV(XW4)to 844 *** both the BTD unit and the bulky groups are introduced to the acceptor and donor units,respectively,the resulting sensitizer XW59 exhibits a highest PCE value of 7.34%with synergistically enhanced JSC of 13.19 mA/cm^2 and VOC of 793 *** results provide further insight into developing high performance dye-sensitized solar cells.

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological *** on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this *** model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) *** nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) *** CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,*** diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous *** diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,*** addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,*** study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes.
