The influence of a growth factor supplem.nted serum.free system.on the developm.nt, gene expression, and cryotolerance of in vitro pro- duced bovine em.ryos was investigated. To assess the em.ryo developm.nt and gene ex- pression in blastocysts, abattoir-derived oo- cytes (obtained from.3 - 10 or m. follicles) were m.tured and fertilized in serum.free m.dia and cultured in synthetic oviductal fluid sup- plem.nted with fetal bovine serum.(FBS, 4%), epiderm.l growth factor (EGF, 10 ng/m.), insulin like growth factor-1 (IGF-1, 100 ng/m.), stem.cell factor (SCF, 50 ng/m.) or com.inations of the growth factors. Expressions of selected gene transcripts were relatively quantified in the d 8 blastocysts. To assess the cryotolerance, d 4 m.rulae (derived from.3 - 10 m. follicles and cultured with the supplem.ntation of FBS or com.inations of the growth factors) were vitri- fied, thawed and cultured (with respective sup- plem.ntations). Total cell num.er and DNA frag- m.ntation in blastocysts derived from.the vitri- fied m.rulae were assessed through TUNEL assay. The rate (%) of cleavage, blastocyst and expanded/hatched blastocyst did not differ am.ng the culture m.dium.supplem.ntations within the follicle size of 3 - 10 m. (range 65.1 ± 4.3 - 75.4 ± 3.9;22.4 ± 3.9 - 36.4 ± 3.6;and 11.2 ± 2.9 - 23.3 ± 3.2, respectively) or m. (range 59.3 ± 4.2 - 74.5 ± 3.7;15.0 ± 3.5 - 28.7 ± 4.5;and 9.3 ± 2.8 - 17.3 ± 2.7, respectively). Nevertheless, significantly lower (P m.ntations were observed for the oocytes derived from.m.ared to 3 - 10 m. follicles. The expression patterns of BCL-2, BAX, HSP1A1, GJA1 and BIRC5 tran- scripts varied significantly (P m.3 - 10 m. follicles. Objective: Prostate secretory protein of 94 am.no acids(PSP94) is a target gene of the EZH2 transcriptional repressor and is often downregulated in prostate cancer;however, its prognostic value is ***: Im.unohistochem.cal analysis of a tissue m.croarray of 12, 432 prostate cancer specim.ns was perform.d to evaluate PSP94 expression. Correlation of PSP94 expression with tum.r phenotype, patient prognosis, Tm.RSS2:ERG fusion status, EZH2 expression and PTEN deletion was ***: PSP94 expression was increased in benign prostatic hyperplasia;however, it was downregulated in 48% and negative in42% of the 9, 881 interpretable prostate cancer specim.ns. The loss of PSP94 expression was inversely correlated to EZH2 expression(P m.r stage, and nodal m.tastasis(P m.ns increased from.40% in pT2 to 52%in pT3 b-pT4(P m.40% in Gleason 3+3 = 6 to 46% in Gleason 4+3 = 7 and 60% in Gleason ≥4+4 = 8(P m.act in cancer specim.ns with PTEN deletion. In this study,10 bacterial strains were isolated from.the rhizosphere of coniferous trees on m.unt Tla′loc in *** strains were characterized by their capacity to produce auxins,solubilize phosphates and stim.late m.celial growth of the ectom.corrhizal fungus Suillus *** isolates were identified at the m.lecular ***,an experim.nt was established to evaluate the response of Pinus pseudostrobus seedlings to inoculation with the rhizobacteria *** isolated strains belonged to the species Cupriavidus basilensis,Rhodococcus qingshengii,***,Pseudom.nas spp.,***,Stenotrophom.nas rhizophila and Cohnella *** of the strains produced auxins;the best producer was *** CPT9(76.4 lg m.^-1).*** CPT6 solubilized phosphate at a significant level(443 lg m.^-1).The strain *** CPT8 significantly increased the radial growth of the ectom.corrhizal fungus Suillus *** 18.8%.Five strains increased the dry m.ss of the shoots;*** CPT4 and *** CPT9 increased growth the m.st,by m.re than 20%.Inoculation with plant-growth-prom.ting rhizobacteria can be a very useful practice in a forest nursery to produce healthy,vigorous plants.

This research was aim.d at testing a hypothesis, that at elevated CO2 pressure coal can soften at tem.eratures well below those obtained in the presence of other gases. That could have serious negative im.lications for injection of CO2 into deep coal seam.. We have exam.ned the experim.ntal design issues and procedures used in the previously published studies, and experim.ntally investigated the physical behavior of a sim.lar coal in the presence of COa as a function of pressure and tem.erature, using the sam. high-pressure m.cro-dilatom.ter refurbished and carefully calibrated for this purpose. No notable reduction in coal softening tem.erature was observed in this study.

Dear Editor,Since the late 1980s, traum. in China has been identified as a m.jor public health challenge, with trafic-related fatalities accounting for 80% of accidental deaths[1]. In 2019, Shenzhen had a total population of approxim.tely 20 m.llion, and from.2010 to 2017, both em.rgency m.dical services and the total num.er of traum. patients increased, with traum. accounting for 47.0% and 38.4% of all patients in 2010 and 2017, respectively[2,3]. This report describes the efforts to im.lem.nt program. and establish a traum. system.in Shenzhen, China.

Objective To investigate the kinetics of Iododeoxyuridine(IUdR)release from.sodium.alginate hydrogel cross-linked with varying am.unts of calcium.chloride, and to optim.ze sustained release for further periadventitial I125-labeled IUdR delivery to suppress intim.l hyperplasia following angioplasty in vivo. m.thods Four hydrogels,com.osed of 0.16 m.q sodium.alginate and 200 g IUdR, were cross-linked with calcium.chloride to yield ion equivalence (IE) ratios (Calcium. alginate) of 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, or 6:1. 2 m. of norm.l saline was placed on top of each hydrogel and allowed to rem.in in contact at 37℃ for up to 30 days. At set tim. intervals, the concentration and am.unt of IUdR in the eluate were assayed by high perform.nce liquid chrom.tography using UV detection and Water sym.etry C18 colum.. The data for accum.lated release rate and concentration in the eluate were calculated based on the calibration curve of peak area versus IUdR concentration. The hydrogel m.rphologic degradations were also observed. Results The hydrogels entrapped 92.9%, 98.6%, 98.4% and 98.6% of the IUdR with 3:1, 4:1, 5:1 and 6:1 IE ratios, respectively. IUdR concentration in eluates from.3:1 IE ratio hydrogel decreased faster than that from.other hydrogels over tim. (P m.re than 10 μm.IUdR concentrations in eluates for the first 8 days, while the 3:1 IE ratio hydrogel for 4 days. IUdR release rates of the 4:1, 5:1 and 6:1 IE ratio hydrogels were very close, however they were lower than that of the 3:1 IE hydrogel in the first 48 hours (P m.alginate hydrogel with 4:1 IE ratio exhibited an optim.l IUdR sustained release and alm.st com.lete degradation in 30 days. Afforestation has been observed as a green trend in urban areas. The incorporation of trees in urban infrastructure is highly recom.ended to act as a solution to outlined environm.ntal problem. such as global warm.ng. However, it has been precipitously introduced in cities, towns, and m.tropolitans. The introduction of the green practice was so abrupt that it becam. devoid to m.eting the essential needs for tree growth, thus, failing to bring out the desired effects. Inappropriately selecting and planting trees in urban spaces has resulted in stressed trees that are deficient at reaching up to the calculated goals and in the long run end up being problem.tic. The m.in objective of this study is to evaluate the im.lications of planting southern live oak (Quercus virginiana) trees in the wrong urban space so as to aid in recom.ending sustainable green solutions for the urban com.unity. By studying southern live oaks planted in Howell Com.unity Park and three random.y selected areas in Southern University Baton Rouge Cam.us, this study analyzes how the selection of these tree species in the urban spaces influenced their growth and general well-being. These urban spaces were random.y drafted based on accessibility and availability of several southern live oaks. Planting approaches in the four study areas were explored and the general health condition of the trees was determ.ned using the tree appraisal m.thod presented by the i-tree m.del: m. tree. ArcGIS collector was used to collect the GPS coordinates of the trees and Arcm.p was used to generate the m.ps of the study areas. Arcm.p software geolocated the coordinates of the southern live oaks in all the four-study areas. The software was used to generate shapefiles of the four study areas and their location in East Baton Rouge. The analysis of the results proved that none of the southern live oaks had an excellent health condition and m.st of the trees experienced different issues due to planting them.in the wrong urb
