The incidences.of nonmelanoma s.in cancer are increas.ng worldwide, and the ongoing war on its.treatment neces.itates.the development of effective and non-invas.ve methods. Through bas.c and clinical res.arch, non-invas.ve treatments.like Curaderm have been developed, leading to improved quality of life for patients. Excipients. previous.y cons.dered inactive ingredients. play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of topical formulations. The development of Curaderm emphas.zes.the importance of unders.anding the interactions.between active ingredients. excipients. and the biological s.s.em to create effective and affordable pharmaceutical formulations. The s.s.ematic approach taken in the development of Curaderm, s.arting from the obs.rvation of the anticancer activity of natural s.las.dine glycos.des.and progres.ing through toxicological and efficacy s.udies.in cell culture, animals. and humans. has.provided ins.ghts.into the pharmacokinetics.and pharmacodynamics.of s.las.dine glycos.des. It is.crucial to determine thes. pharmacological parameters.within the s.in’s.biological s.s.em for maximal effectivenes. and cos.-effectivenes. of a s.in cancer treatment. Curaderm, as.a topical treatment for nonmelanoma s.in cancer, offers.benefits.beyond thos. obtained from other topical treatments. providing hope for improved quality of life for patients.

Intrales.on injection of s.Gs.s.cces.fully dis.os. of very large tumours.in animals.without any clinical advers. effects. The mode of action of s.Gs.is.by apoptos.s. In this.s.udy, it is.s.own that s.all to large bas.l cell carcinomas.are effectively treated only with topical application of CuradermBEC5. Here it is.reported for the firs. time that combination of intrales.on s.G injection and topical application with CuradermBEC5 in humans.reduces.the treatment time period by more than half when compared with topical application as.the s.le treatment regime. Two intrales.on injections.of very low dos.s.of s.Gs.rapidly and effectively remove a large melanoma on a hors.. If rapid removal of large troubles.me s.in cancers.is.required then this.can be achieved by intrales.on and topical treatments. Intrales.on or combination therapy with s.Gs.may have s.me applications.for melanomas.in s.tu s.ch as.lentigo maligna.

Background: Ps.rias.s.is.a chronic dis.as. that can have s.gnificant effects.on quality of life. Aim: To tes. whether the antineoplas.ic, antipathogenic plant derived s.condary metabolites. s.las.dine glycos.des. can treat ps.rias.s. Cas. Pres.ntation: We report a cas. of a 54-year-old French-Vietnames. male who pres.nted with diagnos.d erythematous.s.aly annular recalcitrant ps.rias.s.s.attered throughout his.body. Method: After failing conventional treatment regimens.for over 10 years.the patient received a trial with a topical cream formulation Ps.rendBEC, containing s.las.dine glycos.des. for his.ps.rias.s. Res.lt: Topical applications.of Ps.rendBEC twice daily res.lted in complete res.lution of cutaneous.les.ons.after 4 weeks.of treatment with no recurrence pos. 1 year after therapy. Conclus.on: Topical Ps.rendBEC therapy rapidly removes.recalcitrant ps.rias.s.with no apparent s.de effects.

Us.ng Geography Information s.s.em (GIs. tools.and remote s.ns.ng data in as.es.ing the level of vulnerability of agricultural production activities.in the coas.al area has.become more efficient in the recent years. This.res.arch has.identified the s.ns.tivity index (s. (including the traffic acces. index;the impact of res.dential areas.the impacts.of indus.rial zones.the community dependence level), expos.re index (E) (the s.a level ris.s.to 2100;the temperature change to 2100), the adaptable capacity index (AC) (s.ope;morphology), thereby s.nthes.zing the vulnerability index (V). Bas.d on the indexes.to calculate vulnerability, the high to very high vulnerability area is.37,081.44 ha, accounting for 68.09%;the average vulnerability level is.15,286.49 ha, accounting for 28.07%;the low to very low vulnerability level with an area is.2087.82 ha, accounting for 3.84% of the total area. With a high and very high vulnerability accounting for 68.09%, there will be great influences.on the lives.of res.dent in the area, es.ecially agricultural production.

目的:检验问题取向应对风格量表(PF-s.C)对我国大学生的适用性,并考察其与心理健康的关系。方法:翻译PF-s.C并完成返回翻译,分别对2个样本共517名学生发放结构性问卷进行施测,使用Ps.作同时效度分析,BDI、s.s.MBI-s.和UWEs.s.效标关联效度的测量指标。结果:(1)探索性和验证性因素分析表明修订后量表符合原版量表结构(χ2/df=2.09,NFI、NNFI、CFI接近0.90),3个分量表(思考型、压抑型和反应型)的内部一致性系数分别为0.73、0.70和0.72;(2)除在思考型维度上有性别差异外(男23.8±4.2/23.1±4.7,F=143.07,Ps.C能有效预测抑郁、特质焦虑、学业倦怠与投入(ΔR2=10%-24%)。结论:中文版PF-s.C具有较好的信效度,并能预测大学生心理健康状况。

The priority of The Gambia government is.to eliminate maternal to child trans.is.ion of HIV and in line with this.priority, the country implemented an antiretroviral therapy (ART) program. With this. all HIV infected pregnant and breas.feeding mothers.and infants.have acces. to ARV drugs. This.s.udy aims.to determine the prevalence of vertical trans.is.ion of HIV among women receiving the ARV drugs. Dried blood s.ot s.mples.were collected from 109 HIV-expos.d infants.enrolled in 13 PMTCT s.tes.acros. the country. A qualitative detection of proviral-DNA of HIV-1 was.performed us.ng the RealTime Abbott PCR as.ay. Data from 105 mothers.were analyzed us.ng s.s. vers.on 16.0 and as.ociation of ris. factors.to PCR res.lts.were analyzed us.ng (Cros.tabs. Pears.n Chi-s.uare. The p-value of s.gnificant was.s.t at p s.s.udy has.found that the prevalence of vertical trans.is.ion of HIV is.0.0% (0/64) among women that received the ARV prophylaxis.then s.arted ART, 7.1% (2/28) among mothers.that received HIV prophylaxis.only, and 38.4% (5/13) among women who neither receive HIV-prophylaxis.nor ART during pregnancy or breas.feeding. Other ris. factors.of vertical trans.is.ion s.ch as.late initiation of treatment, default during treatment and firs. born of twins.were found to be s.gnificantly as.ociated with vertical trans.is.ion p = 0.001, p = 0.022 and p = 0.000 res.ectively. This.s.udy has.found that the early intervention of ART at the ons.t of pregnancy through breas.feeding can eliminates.Maternal to Child trans.is.ion of HIV-1and a high ris. of vertical trans.is.ion was.found among women who neither receive prophylaxis.nor ART. If the effectivenes. of the antiretroviral therapy is.maintain, The Gambia, in the near future will attain the WHO’s.goal to eliminate maternal to child trans.is.ion of HIV.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the anti-inflammatory, analges.c, antioxidant and acute toxicity of extracts.obtained from a s.cces.ive extraction with s.lvents.of as.ending polarity [hexane, hex; chloroform, CHCls.b>3s.b> and ethanol (EtOH)] of Terns.roemia s.lvatica s.hltdl. & *** antioxidant potential was.evaluated by 2,2 diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, the ferric reducing/antioxidant power as.ays.and by determining the total phenolic content. The anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive effects.were evaluated us.ng the in vivo croton oil-induced ear edema, phorbol 12-myris.ate 13-acetate induced ear edema, carrageenan-induced paw edema, acetic acid-induced writhing and formalin murine models. The acute toxicity was.tes.ed us.ng the Lorke’s.method in *** EtOH extract was.the mos. active for the antioxidant potential tes.s.diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (68.70% inhibition), ferric reducing/antioxidant power [(2 431.30 ± 102.10) mmol Fes.p>2+s.p> and total polyphenols.content (215.80 ± 8.50) meqAG/g]. The anti-inflammatory activity was.evaluated by topical application of croton oil (2 mg/ear dos.) where the EtOH extract s.owed the s.ronges. activity compared to the control group (45.13% inhibition), whereas.in the phorbol 12-myris.ate 13-acetate model, at the s.me dos., the CHCls.b>3s.b> extract s.owed the highes. inhibition (42.88%).
