Automation systems for buildings interconnect components and technologies from the information technology industry and the telecommunications *** these industries,existing platforms and new platforms（that are designed to make building automation systems work） compete for market acceptance and consequently several platform battles among suppliers for building automation networking are being *** is unclear what the outcome of these battles will be and also which factors are important in achieving platform *** the fuzziness of decision makers＇ judgments into account,a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making methodology called the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy process is applied to investigate the importance of such factors in platform battles for building automation *** present the relative importance of the factors for three types of platforms（subsystem platforms,system platforms,and evolved subsystem platforms）.The results provide a first indication that the set of important factors differs per type of *** example,when focusing on other stakeholders,for subsystem platforms,the previous installed base is of importance;for system platforms,the diversity of the network of stakeholders is essential;and for evolved subsystem platforms,the judiciary is an important factor.

The Kortewegde vries(KdV)equation represents the propagation of long waves in dispersive media,whereas the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger(CNLS)equation depicts the dynamics of narrow-bandwidth wave packets consisting of short dispersive waves.A model that couples these two equations seems in-triguing for simulating the interaction of long and short waves,which is important in many domains of applied sciences and engineering,and such a system has been investigated in recent *** work uses a modified Sardar sub-equation procedure to secure the soliton-type solutions of the generalized cubic nonlinear Schrödinger-Korteweg-de vries system of *** various selections of arbitrary parameters in these solutions,the dynamic properties of some acquired solutions are represented graph-ically and *** particular,the dynamics of the bright solitons,dark solitons,mixed bright-dark solitons,W-shaped solitons,M-shaped solitons,periodic waves,and other soliton-type *** re-sults demonstrated that the proposed technique is highly efficient and effective for the aforementioned problems,as well as other nonlinear problems that may arise in the fields of mathematical physics and engineering.

The principle and technique were reported here to produce lignin-based sand stabilizing material （LSSM） using extracted lignin from black liquor of straw paper mills. Field tests using LSSM to stabilize and green sand dunes were started in 2002. The field experiment was carded out in August 2005 when the newly formed plant community was 3 years old. The results from the comprehensive field experiment demonstrated that unlike polyvinyl acetate or foamed asphalt commonly used for dune stabilization, LSSM was plant- friendly material and could be used in combination with seeding and planting of desert species. With the help of LSSM, the desert species （i.e., Agriophyllum squarrosum （L.） Moq. and Artemisia desertorum Spreng. etc.） could be used to form community in 2-3 yeas and to stabilize sand dune effectively. The newly formed community was sustainable under an extremely dry climate condition. The organic matter and total nitrogen in the soil increased significantly as the community were formed, while the change in p and K contents in the soil was negligible.

Using human blood samples obtained from pre-pandemic donors,a recent article by Mateus et *** Science provided new evidence that SARS-CoV-2-reactive T-cells in unexposed donors are indeed HCoV-specific T-cells.1 The rapid global spread of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by the newly-emerged coronavirus SARS-CoV-2,has led to millions of infections with substantial morbidity and mortality.2 Different clinical manifestations of COVID-19 have been observed:asymptomatic infections,mild self-limiting disease,acute respiratory distress syndrome and *** determinants underlying disease severity currently remain elusive;since severe patients often present with immune hyperresponsiveness,it is speculated that the host’immune response could be a contributing factor to severe disease.

In most group-living mammals,reproductive success declines with increasing age and increases with increasing *** effects have mainly been studied in matrilineal and in“age positive”hierarchies,which are stable and in which high ranking females often outperform low ranking *** relationships are less well-understood in age-inversed dominance hierarchies,in which a female’s rank changes over *** analyzed demographic data of 2 wild,unprovisioned groups of gray langurs(Semnopithecus schistaceus)near Ramnagar,Nepal covering periods of 5 years *** rank was unstable and *** measured reproductive success via birth rates(57 births),infant survival(proportion of infants surviving to 2 years)and number of offspring surviving to 2 years of age(successful births)for 3 age and 3 rank *** found that old females performed significantly worse than expected(birth rate p=0.04;successful births p=0.03).The same was true for low ranking females(p=0.04,and ppectively).Infant survival was highest for young and middle-aged as well as for high and middle ranking ***,the results for these unstable hierarchies were rather similar to those for stable hierarchies of other mammals,particularly several nonhuman ***pared to a provisioned population of a closely related species,the wild and unprovisioned population examined(i)showed stronger age effects,while(ii)female reproductive success was equally affected by *** comparative studies are needed to examine whether captive or provisioned populations deviate predictably from wild populations.

In custom manufacturing time-to-market is of overriding importance. Thus, asymmetric hydrogenation will be applied only if an appropriate catalyst can be found in a very short period of time. For this reason we have build up a full-scale capability for High Throughput Experimentation, encompassing several robot systems. As ligand synthesis was the last remaining barrier we have explored, together with the University of Groningen, the use of simple monodentate ligands, such as MonophosTM. These ligands can be synthesised in two chemical steps, from BINOL, pCl3 and an ***, very high enantioselectivities can be obtained in the asymmetric hydrogenation of α-and β-dehydro-amino acids and esters, aromatic enamides, itaconic acid and ester[1]. See Scheme 1 and 2(at page 830).
