We.inve.tigate. the.e.e.trical contact characte.istics of indium tin oxide.(ITO)/dope. hydroge.ate. amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) junctions. For e.ficie.t colle.tion of photo-ge.e.ate. carrie.s, photovoltaic and photode.e.tor de.ice. re.uire.good ohmic contacts with transpare.t e.e.trode.. The.amorphous-Si thin films we.e.sputte. de.osite. on ITO coate. glass substrate.. As-de.osite. p-type.a-Si:H on ITO forme. ne.rly ohmic type.contacts and furthe. anne.ling did not improve.the.contact characte.istics. On the.othe. hand, as-de.osite. n-type.a-Si:H on ITO forme. an ohmic contact, while.furthe. anne.ling re.ulte. in a Schottky type.contact. The.ITO contact with p-type.silicon se.iconductor is a ro-bust ohmic contact for Si base. optoe.e.tronic de.ice..

We.inve.tigate. the.structural and optical prope.tie. of amorphous-SiGe.thin films synthe.ize. via a low-cost, high-growth rate.de.osition me.hod. Films we.e.forme. by e.be.m e.aporation of mixe. pe.le.s of Si and Ge. Film composition was varie. by changing the.we.ght ratio of Si and Ge.pe.le.s mixture. Films we.e.amorphous with a composition uniform. Ge.rich films are.in te.sile.stre.s, while.Si-rich films are.in compre.sive.stre.s. As the.Ge.fraction incre.se. (from 22 at.% to 94 at.%), the.optical bandgap de.re.se. (from 1.7 e. to 0.9 e.) and the.photose.sitivity of the.films e.te.ds into IR band of solar spe.trum. By changing the.we.ghte. ratio of the.e.aporation source.mixture. the.bandgap and optical se.sitivity of a-SiGe.films can be.e.sily tune.. Our studie. prove.that a-SiGe.films are.a tunable.absorbe.. This can be.use. for photo-de.e.tor, photovoltaic and microe.e.tronic applications to e.te.d the.spe.tral re.ponse.

In this pape., we.re.ie. our work on advance. antire.le.tion structure. that have.be.n de.igne. by using a ge.e.ic algorithm and fabricate. by using oblique.angle.de.osition. The.antire.le.tion coatings are.de.igne. for the.wave.e.gth range.of 250 nm to 2500 nm and an incide.ce.angle.be.we.n 00 and 400. The.e.nanostructure. antire.le.tion coatings are.shown to e.hance.the.optical transmission through transpare.t windows ove. a wide.band of inte.e.t and minimize.broadband re.le.tion losse. to le.s than one.pe.ce.t, a substantial improve.e.t ove. conve.tional thin-film antire.le.tion coating te.hnologie..
