This study a.med to a.a.yze the possible meta.olic disturba.ces ca.sed by crea.ine supplementa.ion on a.robic ca.a.ity of ra.s, inferred by the ma.ima. la.ta.e stea.y sta.e. Forty ma.e Wista. ra.s (90 da.s old) were distributed into two groups for eight weeks: tra.ned group (T): ra.s tha. were submitted to a.tra.ning protocol, a.d supplemented-tra.ned group (TCr): ra.s tha. were submitted to a.tra.ning protocol a.d received ba.a.ced diet supplemented with 2% crea.ine. The blood la.ta.e concentra.ions equiva.ent to ma.ima. la.ta.e stea.y sta.e during trea.mill running were a.a.yzed a. the beginning a.d a.so a. the end of the experiment. a. the end of the experiment were done compa.ing the test results MLSS between the two groups. a. the beginning of the experiment, prior to groups division, the ma.ority of a.ima.s obta.ned MLSS a. a.speed of26 m/min, blood la.ta.e concentra.ion of 3.79 ± 0.76 mmol/L. a. the end of the experiment, most of tra.ned ra.s in T presented MLSS a. the speed of28 m/min, blood la.ta.e concentra.ion of 3.37 ± 0.68 mmol/L. Most TCr ha. MLSS a. the speed of28 m/min, blood la.ta.e concentra.ion of 3.52 ± 0.69 mmol/L. We conclude tha. crea.ine supplementa.ion wa. not the ca.se of the improvement in the a.robic ca.a.ity of ra.s in the trea.-mill exercise.

Objectives： The burn repa.r a.socia.ed with dia.etes complica.ions showed considera.le cha.ges in the hea.ing process a.d the development of a.terna.ive thera.ies to fa.or the repa.r is importa.t. This study investiga.ed the effica.y of the Ca.ea.ia.sylvestris in the burn repa.r in dia.etic a.d non-dia.etic ra.s. Methods： The a.ima.s were divided into four groups （n = 20）：（C） non-dia.etics trea.ed with ca.bopol gel; （G） non-dia.etic trea.ed with C. sylvestris extra.t in ca.bopol gel; （DM-C） dia.etics trea.ed with ca.bopol gel; （DM-G） dia.etics trea.ed with C. sylvestris extra.t in ca.bopol gel. Burn wa. induced using a.meta. pla.e （2 cm dia.eter/120 °C/20 sec）. Sa.ples were collected on the 3rd, 7th, 14th a.d 21st da.s a.ter the injury for histomorphometric a.a.ysis （infla.ma.ory infiltra.e, fibrobla.ts, blood vessels a.d colla.en）, MPO （Myeloperoxida.e） a.d Na. （N-a.etilglicosa.inida.e） dosa.e, hydroxyproline, glycosa.inoglyca.s, TGF-β1, VEGF, colla.en I a.d III. Key findings： C. sylvestris decrea.ed the infla.ma.ory process during the experimenta. period in dia.etic a.d non-dia.etic a.ima.s which ha. been demonstra.ed by MPO, Na. qua.tifica.ion, a.d TGF-β1 expression. C. sylvestris a.so increa.ed blood vessels a.d decrea.ed VEGF expression during the studied period in non-dia.etic a.ima.s. Fibropla.ia.a.d colla.ena.e were increa.ed in a.l experimenta. periods in the DM-G group by mea.s of de hydroxyproline qua.tifica.ion, colla.en I, colla.en III a.d glycosa.inoglyca.s. Sa.ples of the skin/lesion/sca. were collected on the 2nd, 7th a.d 14th da.s post-injury for histologica., biochemica. a.d molecula. a.a.yses. The R group showed reduction of body ma.s, epiderma./derma. thickness, infla.ma.ion, a.giogenesis, fibropla.ia.a.d colla.enesis.
