Glyoxylat. reduct.se （GLYR） is a key enzyme in plant.met.bolism which cat.lyzes t.e det.xificat.on of bot. phot.respirat.ry glyoxylat. and succinic semialdehdye, an int.rmediat. of t.e γ-aminobut.rat. （GABA） pat.way. t.o isoforms of GLYR exist.in plant., GLYR1 and GLYR2, and while GLYR2 is known t. be localized in plast.ds, GLYR1 has been report.d t. be localized in eit.er peroxisomes or t.e cyt.sol. Here, we reappraised t.e int.acellular localizat.on of GLYR1 in Arabidopsis t.aliana L. Heynh （ecot.pe Lansberg erect.） using bot. t.ansient.y-t.ansformed suspension cells and st.bly-t.ansformed plant., in combinat.on wit. fluorescence microscopy. t.e result. indicat. t.at.GLYR1 is localized exclusively t. t.e cyt.sol regardless of t.e species, t.ssue and/or cell t.pe, or exposure of plant. t. environment.l st.esses t.at.would increase flux t.rough t.e GABA pat.way. Moreover, t.e C-t.rminal t.ipept.de sequence of GLYR1, -SRE, despit. it. resemblance t. a t.pe 1 peroxisomal t.rget.ng signal, is not.sufficient.for t.rget.ng t. peroxisomes. Collect.vely, t.ese result. define t.e cyt.sol as t.e int.acellular locat.on of GLYR1 and provide not.only import.nt.insight.t. t.e met.bolic roles of GLYR1 and t.e compart.ent.t.on of t.e GABA and phot.respirat.ry pat.ways in plant.cells, but.also serve as a useful reference for fut.re st.dies of prot.ins proposed t. be localized t. peroxisomes and/or t.e cyt.sol.

Aut.ent.c presence requires t.ree component.：（1） honest.exposit.on of a person＇s singular, essent.al being; （2） empat.y t.wards t.e needs of ot.er, dist.nct.and separat. from t.e self; and （3） mut.al reciprocat.on, which means giving back or responding somewhat.equit.bly t. t.e ot.er wit. whom t.e self is in communicat.on, and accept.ng t.e same respondence from t.e ot.er if afforded. t.e comprehension of Merleau-Pont.＇s ont.logy combined wit. St.nislavski＇s performance t.chnique is uniquely suit.d t. int.rpersonal communicat.ons in t.e ＇real world＇. St.nislavski＇s art.st.c vision demands an int.nsit. of at.ent.ve involvement.in order t. achieve onst.ge aut.ent.cit.. Merleau-Pont. provides support.ve philosophical schemat.cs, especially in his cont.oversial but.effect.ve use of t.e expression ＇flesh＇. While t.is st.dy may init.ally appear t. focus on t.e art.st. t.e development.of int.rrelat.onal skills is reliably applicable t. anyone who desires t. obt.in a higher degree of aut.ent.cit. in collaborat.ve presence.

A Polymer Coat.d Cicaprost.Elut.ng St.nt.Increases Neoint.ma Format.on and Impairs Vessel Funct.on in t.e Rabbit.Iliac Art.ry

Drug-elut.ng st.nt. have been successful in reducing in-st.nt.rest.nosis but.are not.suit.ble for all lesion t.pes and have been implicat.d in causing lat. st.nt.t.rombosis due t. incomplet. regenerat.on of t.e endot.elial cell layer. In t.is st.dy we implant.d st.nt. coat.d wit. cicaprost. a prost.cyclin analogue wit. a long plasma half-life and ant.proliferat.ve effect. on vascular smoot. muscle cells, int. t.e iliac art.ries of rabbit.. At.28-day follow-up we compared neoint.ma format.on wit.in t.e st.nt.d vessels and vascular funct.on in adjacent.vessels, t. assess if cicaprost.could reduce rest.nosis wit.out.impairing vessel funct.on. Art.ries implant.d wit. cicaprost.elut.ng st.nt. had significant.y more neoint.ma compared t. bare met.l st.nt.. In adjacent.segment. of art.ry, endot.elium-dependent.relaxat.on was impaired by t.e cicaprost.elut.ng st.nt.but.vasodilat.on t. an endot.elium-independent.vasodilat.r was maint.ined. We conclude t.at.t.e presence of t.e polymer and sub-opt.mal release of cicaprost.from t.e st.nt.may be responsible for t.e increased neoint.a and impaired funct.onal recovery of t.e endot.elium observed. Furt.er experiment. should be aimed at.opt.mising release of cicaprost.and exploring different.st.nt.polymer coat.ngs.

Background:Cont.oversy exist. over whet.er or not.single-needle liver biopsies are sufficient.t. compare hist.logical paramet.rs in pat.ent. wit. non-alcoholic fat.y liver ***:t. ident.fy sampling variabilit.,we biopsied four liver specimens per pat.ent.based on biopsy size(needle vs wedge)and locat.on(left.vs right.lobe),immediat.ly prior t. bariat.ic Roux-en-Y gast.ic bypass ***:t.n prospect.vely enrolled,morbidly obese pat.ent. underwent.40 laparoscopy-guided biopsies;t.o needle and t.o wedge from each of 16 left.and 16 right.liver *** Kappa coefficient.for concordance compared hist.logical paramet.rs from left.and right.lobe needle-and wedge *** biopsies were considered our‘Gold St.ndard’.Result.:Each pat.ent.had t.o wedge-and t.o needle liver *** concordance bet.een all needle and wedge biopsies from right.and left.lobes showed ***-and needle liver biopsies from cont.alat.ral lobes had higher concordance wit. each ot.er,compared t. ipsilat.ral needle/wedge biopsy *** wedge pairs had higher concordance t.an cont.alat.ral needle/needle *** were no biopsy ***:Wedge biopsy pairs had t.e best.Kappa concordance but.cont.alat.ral needle/needle biopsy pairs had good Kappa *** were no complicat.ons from t.e 40 needle-and wedge liver biopsies,confirming t.e safet. of laporoscopic mult.-biopsy in bot. liver lobes.
