Optimizing the utilization of maize silage in forage blends-based rations to improve production performance and reduce methane emissions from fattening calves

This research investigated the effect of various mixtures of maize silage and ryegrass fodder on nutrient digestibility,production performance,and methane(CH4)emission of fattening ***-four fattening calves((228±10)kg body weight(BW),(280±5)d of age)were allocated to 8 diets for 84 d,according to a randomized complete block design,and the blocks were balanced for BW,age,and *** diets consisted of 4 levels of maize silages,i.e.,40%(MS40),50%(MS50),60%(MS60),and 70%(MS70)in the maize silage and ryegrass fodder mixture on a dry matter(DM)basis,and each of the mixture was supplemented with either low(LC,1.0%BW)or high(HC,1.5%BW)levels of fattening *** results revealed greater(p<0.05)intakes of DM(8.35 kg/d),organic matter(OM,7.85 kg/d),and metabolizable energy(ME,12.00 Mcal/d)in calves fed with MS70-LC *** highest(p<0.05)digestibility(g/100 g)of DM(65.2),OM(67.3),crude protein(69.1),and neutral detergent fibre(56.3)was recorded for MS40-HC *** maximum(p<0.05)average daily gain(ADG,571 g/d)was recorded for diet *** lowest value(p<0.05)of CH4 emission was recorded in MS70-LC,MS70-HC,and MS60-HC as compared to other *** 70%maize silage in the ryegrass-maize silage based diet improved ADG by 174 g/d with LC *** is concluded that the optimum inclusion level of maize silage and ryegrass in the fattening ration can improve animal production performance and reduces CH4 production and concentrate requirements of fattening calves.

Heart failure is now widely spread throughout the *** disease affects approximately 48%of the *** is too expensive and also difficult to cure the *** research paper represents machine learning models to predict heart *** fundamental concept is to compare the correctness of various Machine Learning(ML)algorithms and boost algorithms to improve models’accuracy for *** supervised algorithms like K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Decision Trees(DT),Random Forest(RF),Logistic Regression(LR)are considered to achieve the best *** boosting algorithms like Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)and Cat-Boost are also used to improve the prediction using Artificial Neural Networks(ANN).This research also focuses on data visualization to identify patterns,trends,and outliers in a massive data *** and Scikit-learns are used for *** Flow and Keras,along with Python,are used for ANN model *** DT and RF algorithms achieved the highest accuracy of 95%among the ***,KNN obtained a second height accuracy of 93.33%.XGBoost had a gratified accuracy of 91.67%,SVM,CATBoost,and ANN had an accuracy of 90%,and LR had 88.33%accuracy.

Amniotic membrane welded to contact lens by 1470-nm diode laser:a novel method for sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation

AIM: To avoid the side effects of the suture usage by welding amniotic membrane(AM) to contact lens(CL)with ***: AM was taken from pregnant women and cleaned from blood clots with sterile phosphate-buffered physiological saline solution which included *** side of the AM was spread inside of the CL and it was welded to CL by 1470 nm diode laser. And 600 μm diameter fiber tip of the laser was contacted with the epithelial side of the AM from 4 separate points. After welding excess amniotic membrane around the CL was cut with a ***: Stromal side of the AM was spread inside of the CL and then with laser fiber, different power levels and exposure times were applied on the epithelium of AM and 340 m W for seven seconds was found *** and AM attached with the spot welding effect in 4points by touching fiber tip. CL-AM welded complex did not separated from each other while holding AM that extend beyond the CL with the help of two ***: As a conclusion, it was aimed in this study to achieve the success of the conventional amniotic membrane transplantation(AMT) with the easiness of applying a CL and to avoid risks and side effects of corneal or conjunctival suturing. The results showed that the application of the CL-AM complex will be as easy as the application of a CL and lasts shortly.

The frontalis suspension technique, which is a well-known surgical procedure, has been used for congenital ptosis for many years [1]. Several autologous and foreign grafts or materials have been preferred for this suspension, such as collagen, tensor fascia lata, palmaris longus tendon, deep temporal fascia, catgut, prolene, silicone, stainless steel, and supramid suture . Each of these have their own advantages and disadvantages; however, the superficial temporal fascia has not been used for the frontalis suspension method before.

Design, Simulation &Optimization of 2D Photonic Crystal Power Splitter

A very compact (80 - 100 μm2) integrated power splitting devices with two outputs (1 × 2), four outputs (1 × 4) and six outputs (1 × 6) channel has been designed, simulated and optimized for Telecommunication purpose with T-Junction, Y-Junction, PC line defect waveguides integrated with multimode interference block (PCLD-MMI) and multiple line defect PC waveguides (MLDPCW) configurations. The optical modeling of these proposed structures was investigated by finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation. With the optimization of the parameters (Hole Radius, R = 0.128 μm, Input Diameter, D = 1.02 μm, Input wavelength, λ = 1.55 μm, Substrate Reflective Index, nsub = Si(1.52), Photonic Crystal Material, npcs = InAs(3.45), and Rectangular crystal structure), 1 × 2 for Y-Junction (100%), 1 × 4 for T-Junction (92.8%) and 1 × 6 configuration for MLDPCW (81%) show maximum power transmission.

TBBPA rather than its main derivatives enhanced growth of endometrial cancer via p53 ubiquitination

Tetrabromobisphenol A(TBBPA)and its derivatives widely exist in various environments and *** the available data indicate that TBBPA exposure is highly associated with the increased incidence of endometrial cancer(EC),the effects of TBBPA and its main derivatives on EC proliferation and the involved crucial mechanism remain *** present study aimed to investigate the effects of TBBPA and its derivatives under environmental concentrations on the proliferation of EC,and the crucial mechanism on the progression of EC caused by bromine fame retardants *** this research,TBBPA and two of the most common TBBPA derivatives including TBBPA bis(2-hydroxyethyl ether)(TBBPABHEE)and TBBPA bis(dibromopropyl ether)(TBBPA-BDBPE)were screened for their capacities in induced EC proliferation and explored the related mechanism by in vitro cell culture model and in vivo mice *** environmental concentrations,TBBPA promoted the proliferation of EC,the main derivatives of TBBPA(TBBPA-BHEE and TBBPA-BDBPE)did not present the similar facilitation *** ubiquitination degradation of p53 was crucial in TBBPA induced EC proliferation,which resulted in the increase of downstream cell cycle and decrease of *** further molecular docking result suggested the high affinity between TBBPA and ubiquitinated *** finding revealed the effects of TBBPA and its derivatives on EC proliferation,thus providing novel insights into the underlying mechanisms of TBBPA-caused EC.

The detection of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) is a very important task due to stringent environmental standards and regulations on VOC’s in many *** are highly toxic and may cause metabolic diseases,genetic disorders,acute,chronic or long-term effects and *** order to control the air quality and human health respect to standards and regulations gas sensors are widely used to measure the level of *** performance of the gas sensing devices mostly depends on the performance of the sensing materials which depends on their chemical *** materials are widely studied in the field of VOC’s sensor application due to their low cost,physical and chemical *** molecule was deposited as an Langmuir-Blodgett thin film onto gold substrates for the study of sensor properties using benzene,toluene,ethyl benzene and *** plasmon resonance technique was employed for the characterization of these LB films.A high quality and uniform Langmuir monolayer from the water surface can be transferred onto a gold coated substrate with a transfer ratio of over 90%.For the sensing application towards benzene vapor,this LB film yields a fast and almost fully reversible response to benzene in few seconds.

Hydro-geochemical evaluation of groundwater with studies on water quality index and suitability for drinking in Sagardari,Jashore

Sagardari union is facing groundwater crisis because of contaminations from agriculture and urban sewage,which bring a considerable change in water *** view of this,hydro-chemical analyses were undertaken on 35 groundwater samples and the following hydro-geochemical parameters,pH,total dissolved solids(TDS),total hardness(TH),electrical conductivity(EC),cations and anions,were *** the analytical results,it is found that pH value was lower than WHO drinking water standard and the middledownstream portions of the investigation region show higher *** piper plot indicates that the groundwater in Sagardari falls in the categories of NaClHCO3 hydro-chemical *** TH in groundwater was detected,but still in an acceptable *** addition,salinity and arsenic ratio are higher and moderately higher,*** spatial distribution of Groundwater Quality Index(GWQI)was determined by geo-statistical modelling of Sagardari *** study provides information and supports the administration which to make better groundwater utilization and quality control in the Sagardari union.

Impact of Flow Rate in Integration with Solar Radiation on Color and COD Removal in Dye Contaminated Textile Industry Wastewater:Optimization Study

Dyes are an integral part of the dying industry and have significantly resulted in environmental pollution by altering the standardwater quality after their discharge into the water *** culprits behind the altered water quality are the pretreatment chemicals used during dying manufacturing *** advanced treatmentmethods using conventional and advanced treatment options including solar energy have been put forth by researchers for the treatment of the dying effluents but,these methods have not proved significantly ***,the present study intends to check the efficiency of solar parabolic trough collector for treating the dying effluents in terms of color and ***,other wastewater parameters(BOD,nitrate and phosphate)have also been considered for this experimental *** standard flow rates(0.5,1.3,1.95 and 2.6 L/M)were maintained during the experiment for six hours at solar intensity(849.3±21.2W/m^(2))and the optimized flow rate(1.95 L/M)was detected and considered for further study during the present *** color concentration showed a significant reduction(≥76.4%)by treatment with the designed solar *** significant results were also noticed in terms of COD(79%).In this context,the current experimental study provides ideas on the decolorization and COD reduction efficiency with optimal flow rate in terms of cost-effectiveness with designed experimental reactor which could be further used and implemented for advanced scientific purposes.
