This paper proposes a new stochastic framework based on the probabilistic load flow to consider the uncertainty effects in the Distribution Static Compensator (DSTATCOM) allocation and sizing problem. The proposed method is based on the point estimate method (PEM) to capture the uncertainty associated with the forecast error of the loads. In order to explore the search space globally, a new optimization algorithm based on bat algorithm (BA) is proposed too. The objective functions to be investigated are minimization of the total active power losses and reducing the voltage deviation of the buses. Also to reach a proper balance between the optimization of both the objective functions, the idea of interactive fuzzy satisfying method is employed in the multi-objective formulation. The feasibility and satisfying performance of the proposed method is examined on the 69-bus IEEE distribution system.

The objective of this research was to determine the Nomoto model maneuverability indices of an agricultural unmanned airboat which was developed to perform autonomous weeding and paddy growth monitoring in a paddy field.A global positioning system compass and an inertial measurement unit were attached on the airboat body to record the position,heading and angular *** zig-zag experiments were adopted to obtain the maneuverability *** Matlab-based maneuvering simulations were conducted and compared with field experimental data of circular motion test and sinusoidal running test,*** results showed that the trace error was at sub-meter level,which expounds the validity of the obtained maneuvering *** proposed Nomoto model maneuverability indices can be used to improve the airboat precise automatic control in paddy field.

Coagulase is considered as a major determinant factor for the identification of Staphylococcus aureus *** 3-end coding region of the coagulase(coa)gene contains a series of 81-bp tandem repeats,which differ in the number and location of enzymatic restriction sites among different *** PCR-RFLP has been used widely to type *** isolates in epidemiological *** current study was conducted to investigate the coagulase gene polymorphisms in *** isolated from various food samples using an in house PCR-RFLP method.A total of 100 strains of *** were isolated from food *** were typed by PCR-RFLP analysis using NdeI restriction digestion of the coagulase gene PCR *** showed that amplification of coagulase genes from *** produced different PCR *** isolates were grouped into 18 genotypes using RFLP analysis results of the *** this study,the *** isolates have been shown to include more than one coagulase genotype,but only had a few coa genotypes predominated.

The aim of this study is to use a new configuration of porous media in a heat exchanger in continuous hydrothermal flow synthesis(CHFS)system to enhance the heat transfer and minimize the required length of the heat *** this purpose,numerous numerical simulations are performed to investigate performance of the system with porous ***,the numerical simulation for the heat exchanger in CHFS system is validated by experimental ***,porous media is added to the system and six different thicknesses for the porous media are examined to obtain the optimum thickness,based on the minimum required length of the heat ***,by changing the flow rate and inlet temperature of the product as well as the cooling water flow rate,the minimum required length of the heat exchanger with porous media for various inlet conditions is *** investigations indicate that using porous media with the proper thickness in the heat exchanger increases the cooling rate of the product by almost 40% and reduces the required length of the heat exchanger by approximately 35%.The results also illustrate that the most proper thickness of the porous media is approximately equal to 90% of the product tube's *** of this study lead to design a porous heat exchanger in CHFS system for various inlet conditions.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of long-term exposure to radiofrequency radiations emitted from mobile jammers onrat's reproductive ***: Eighty male rats were divided into neonatal group (n=20), immature group (n=30) and mature group (n=30). Neonatal rats were randomly divided into two subgroups. Immature and mature rats were randomly divided into three subgroups. Experimental rats were fixed in the restraining tube and were exposed to radiofrequency radiations emitted from mobile jammers at a distance of 100 cm, for 30 d (7 h/d). Sham group rats were also fixed in restraining tube but without radiations. The control group was allowed to move freely without being exposed to radiation. At the end of the experiment, weight of testes, sperm quality, histological testicular sections and serum testosterone levels were ***: Long-term exposure to radiofrequency from mobile jammers could adversely affect neonatal rat fertility, but it did not have significant effects on male mature and immature rat's reproduction parameters. However, restraint stress induced by immobilizing them for a long-period could adversely affect male mature rat's reproductive parameters, but it had no significant effect on male immature rat's reproduction ***:The effects of EMF exposure to be various based on the life stage.

The dynamic stress intensity factors in a half-plane weakened by several finite moving cracks are investigated by employing the Fourier complex transformation. Stress analysis is performed in a half-plane containing a single dislocation and without dislocation. An exact solution in a closed form to the stress fields and displacement is ob- tained. The Galilean transformation is used to transform between coordinates connected to the cracks. The stress components are of the Cauchy singular kind at the location of dislocation and the point of application of the the influence of crack length and crack running force. Numerical examples demonstrate velocity on the stress intensity factor.

A massive earthquake of magnitude Mw 7.3 shook Kermanshah Province in Western Iran along the Iraqi border on November 12,*** epicenter of the earthquake was approximately 10 km southwest of Ezgeleh Town in Kermanshah *** observations almost 4 months after the disaster indicated that the earthquake had caused tremendous damage to most structures in both urban and rural areas,and left an enormous amount of disaster *** investigate the status of the dam-age and disposal of the disaster waste,remote sensing was conducted using an unmanned aerial vehicle(drone).Through the capture of low-altitude images by drone and the generation of 3D models,the quantity of debris accumulated in a waste disposal facility near Sarpol Zahab was estimated at approximately 480,000 m3.A compositional analysis of the disaster waste was performed using an imaging *** revealed that the disaster waste was largely composed of concrete(39.6%),hollow brick(35.4%),and gypsum(21.2%)in the urban area,whereas soil was the dominant component(77.4%)in the rural *** damage caused to most buildings was essentially due to their non-standard *** manage-ment of debris from the damaged buildings was a critical issue for the authorities,and the lack of preparedness was a serious drawback that consumed an enormous amount of time,budget,and workforce.A practical post-disaster preparedness plan would help the decision-makers and the public to manage the otherwise overwhelming nature of the post-disaster conditions in a more reasonable manner.

The main objective of the present study is to introduce new empirical equations for the determination of breach geometrical dimensions and peak outflow discharge(Q_(p)).Therefore,a historic failure database of 109 embankments was collected and *** most important factors that affect the breach evolution,including grading size,hydraulic,and outflow characteristics are also *** of the parameters used for the determination of Q_(p) and average breach width(Bave)have a significant effect on the erosion process,but they are less reflected in the technical *** study the behavior of noncohesive soils during overtopping,15 physical tests were performed at the laboratory,and the effects of interfering parameters were *** experimental output hydrograph was used to simulate the hydrographs resulting from the failure of real dams,and recent artificial intelligence techniques along with linear and nonlinear regression models were *** area-time analysis of the laboratory hydrographs shows that the soil particle size and the characteristics of reservoir-basin significantly affect the rate of breach formation and outflow *** relationships are introduced,based on the breach characteristics,by a combination of historical and experimental data,as well as case studies conducted on the hypothetical failure of 10 operational *** mathematical model is also used to simulate the process of breach *** on statistical indices,comparison of the results,and sensitivity analysis,the developed equations can better express the susceptibility of materials to erosion and their application can minimize downstream vulnerabilities.
