Synthesis and characterization of enzyme mimics with characteristic stability and high catalytic efficiency is an interesting field for ***,with the development of nanoscience and introducing of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles as peroxidase mimics in 2007,various nanomaterials such as noble metals,metal oxides,and carbon materials were introduced as enzyme mimics(nanozymes).Various nanomaterials exhibit peroxidaselike activity,hence,most of the nanozymes are peroxidase *** the nanozyme based sensors were previously classified,the classifications have been focused on the type of nanozyme ***,the nanozyme based sensors were classified as peroxidase,hydrolase,and urease mimic-based ***,heretofore,these sensors are not classified based on the detection mechanism and principles of system *** aim of this review is the focus on the peroxidase mimic based colorimetric sensors as the most common nanozyme-based sensors and their classification based on principles of sensor design and review of the detection mechanism of the current mimic peroxidase based ***,some current challenges and future developments in this field are discussed.

This paper investigates the effects of quantum well size changes on center frequency and slow down factor of an slow light device. In this way, we consider the quantum well size alteration effects on oscillator strength and binding energy of exciton. First, we investigate the variations in oscillator strength of exciton due to different quantum well size. Second, exciton binding energy level shift due to size of quantum well is investigated. According to this analysis, we have developed a new method for tuning slow light device bandwidth center frequency and slow down factor. Analysis and simulation of a basic GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells optical slow light device based on excitonic population oscillation shows that size of quantum wells could tune both of the frequency properties and slow down factor of an optical slow light device. In our simulation with 34 quantum wells each with the width of 60?, we have received the slow down factor of more than 60,000. These achievements are useful in optical nonlinearity enhancements, all-optical signal processing applications and optical communications.

Resistance of Helicobacter pylori to furazolidone and levofloxacin: A viewpoint

In their review, Arslan et al[1] did not describe the status of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) treatment with furazolidone and the resistance to this antibiotic. We have presented different surveys showing the resistance of H. pylori to furazolidone from Asia and South America. The resistance rates varied but were mostly low(< 5%). There are not enough data on its efficacy and resistance in the United States and Europe. H. pylori mutations occurring in the oor D gene, including A041 G, A122 G, C349A(G), A78 G, A112 G, A335 G, C156 T and C165 T, and in the por D gene, including G353 A, A356 G, C357 T, C347 T, C347 G and C346 A, have been indicated to be possibly related to the observed resistance. Additionally, to complete Arslan et al 's statement regarding levofloxacin resistance, it should be noted that compound mutations of N87 A, A88 N and V65 I at codon Asn-87 were recently observed in the gyr A gene for the first time. However, the results on these topics are not sufficient, and more worldwide studies are suggested.

Various nonlinear phenomena such as bifurcations and chaos in the responses of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)are recognized as being major contributors to the inaccuracy and instability of nanoscale mechanical ***,the main purpose of this paper is to predict the nonlinear dynamic behavior of a CNT conveying viscousﬂuid and supported on a nonlinear elastic *** proposed model is based on nonlocal Euler–Bernoulli beam *** Galerkin method and perturbation analysis are used to discretize the partial differential equation of motion and obtain the frequency-response equation,respectively.A detailed parametric study is reported into how the nonlocal parameter,foundation coefﬁcients,ﬂuid viscosity,and amplitude and frequency of the external force inﬂuence the nonlinear dynamics of the ***,quasi-periodic,and chaotic behaviors and hardening nonlinearity are revealed by means of the vibration time histories,frequency-response curves,bifurcation diagrams,phase portraits,power spectra,and Poincaré***,the results show that it is possible to eliminate irregular motion in the whole range of external force amplitude by selecting appropriate parameters.

A novel data-driven, soft sensor based on support vector regression （SVR） integrated with a data compression technique was developed to predict the product quality for the hydrodesulfurization （HDS） process. A wide range of experimental data was taken from a HDS setup to train and test the SVR model. Hyper-parameter tuning is one of the main challenges to improve predictive accuracy of the SVR model. Therefore, a hybrid approach using a combination of genetic algorithm （GA） and sequential quadratic programming （SQP） methods （GA-SQP） was developed. Performance of different optimization algorithms including GA-SQP, GA, pattern search （PS）, and grid search （GS） indicated that the best average absolute relative error （AARE）, squared correlation coefficient （R2）, and computation time （CT）（AARE = 0.0745, R2 = 0.997 and CT = 56 s） was accomplished by the hybrid algorithm. Moreover, to reduce the CT and improve the accuracy of the SVR model, the vector quantization （VQ） technique was used. The results also showed that the VQ technique can decrease the training time and improve prediction performance of the SVR model. The proposed method can provide a robust, soft sensor in a wide range of sulfur contents with good accuracy.

This paper presents a Fuzzy Preference Function-based Robust Multidisciplinary Design Optimization(FPF-RMDO) methodology. This method is an effective approach to multidisciplinary systems, which can be used to designer experiences during the design optimization process by fuzzy preference functions. In this study, two optimizations are done for Predator MQ-1 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV):(A) deterministic optimization and(B) robust optimization. In both problems, minimization of takeoff weight and drag is considered as objective functions, which have been optimized using Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA). In the robust design optimization, cruise altitude and velocity are considered as uncertainties that are modeled by the Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS) method. Aerodynamics, stability and control, mass properties, performance, and center of gravity are used for multidisciplinary analysis. Robust design optimization results show 46% and 42% robustness improvement for takeoff weight and cruise drag relative to optimal design respectively.

Robust D-Stability Test of LTI General Fractional Order Control Systems

This work deals with the robust D-stability test of linear time-invariant(LTI) general fractional order control systems in a closed loop where the system and/or the controller may be of fractional order. The concept of general implies that the characteristic equation of the LTI closed loop control system may be of both commensurate and non-commensurate orders, both the coefficients and the orders of the characteristic equation may be nonlinear functions of uncertain parameters, and the coefficients may be complex numbers. Some new specific areas for the roots of the characteristic equation are found so that they reduce the computational burden of testing the robust D-stability. Based on the value set of the characteristic equation, a necessary and sufficient condition for testing the robust D-stability of these systems is derived. Moreover, in the case that the coefficients are linear functions of the uncertain parameters and the orders do not have any uncertainties, the condition is adjusted for further computational burden reduction. Various numerical examples are given to illustrate the merits of the achieved theorems.

Battery energy storage system(BESS)has already been studied to deal with uncertain parameters of the electrical systems such as loads and renewable ***,the BESS have not been properly studied under unbalanced operation of power *** paper aims to study the modelling and operation of BESS under unbalanced-uncertain conditions in the power *** proposed model manages the BESS to optimize energy cost,deal with load uncertainties,and settle the unbalanced loading at the same *** three-phase unbalanced-uncertain loads are modelled and the BESSs are utilized to produce separate charging/discharging pattern on each phase to remove the unbalanced *** IEEE 69-bus grid is considered as case *** load uncertainty is developed by Gaussian probability function and the stochastic programming is adopted to tackle the *** model is formulated as mixed-integer linear programming and solved by GAMS/*** results demonstrate that the model is able to deal with the unbalanced-uncertain conditions at the same *** model also minimizes the operation cost and satisfies all security constraints of power grid.

The cobalt nanoparticles over γ-Al_2O_3 support were prepared via chemical reduction of CoCl_2·6H_2O using NaBH_4 with various values of pH in the range of 11. 92-13. 80. Synthesized catalysts were studied through X-ray diffraction( XRD),N_2 adsorption/desorption( BET),H_2-temperature programmed reduction( H_2-TPR),H_2-chemisorption,O_2 pulse titration and temperature programmed oxidation( TPO) methods. Obtained results exhibited the synthesis solution pH showed a significant influence on the activity and selectivity in partial oxidation of methane reaction. The methane conversion,CO selectivity and H_2 yield were enhanced by increasing of the synthesis solution pH. Compared to other catalysts,the catalyst that synthesized at pH of 13.80,showed a superior ability in syngas production with a H_2/CO ratio of near 2 and also a proper stability against deactivation during the partial oxidation of methane.
