Kinetic and thermodynamic properties of the aerial oxidation of hydroquinone in developer solutions

The aerial oxidation kinetics of hydroquinone in a freshly prepared developer solution at different temperatures and pHs has been studied. The activation parameters, Ea, ΔG#, ΔS#, ΔH# and enthalpy of formation of activated complex, ΔH0f(X# ), are determined. The large negative value of free energy of activation ΔG# proves that hydroquinone extremely tends to be oxidized by air at optimum temperature (20°C and optimum pH (10.5) and converts to the activated complex semiquinone. It was also found that if the pH of the developer solution is increased from 9.3 to 10.5 the reaction rate will increase by a factor of 2.

Prefoldins Negatively Regulate Cold Acclimation in Arabidopsis thaliana by Promoting Nuclear Proteasome-Mediated HY5 Degradation

The process of cold acclimation is an important adaptive response whereby many plants from temperate regions increase their freezing tolerance after being exposed to low non-freezing temperatures. The correct development of this response relies on proper accumulation of a number of transcription factors that regulate expression patterns of cold-responsive genes. Multiple studies have revealed a variety of molecular mechanisms involved in promoting the accumulation of these transcription factors. Interestingly, however, the mechanisms implicated in controlling such accumulation to ensure their adequate levels remain largely unknown. In this work, we demonstrate that prefoldins （PFDs） control the levels of HY5, an Arabidopsis transcription factor with a key role in cold acclimation by activating anthocyanin biosynthesis, in response to low temperature. Our results show that, under cold conditions, PFDs accumulate into the nucleus through a DELLA-dependent mechanism, where they interact with HY5, triggering its ubiquitination and subsequent degradation. The degradation of HY5 would result, in turn, in anthocyanin biosynthesis attenuation, ensuring the accurate development of cold acclimation. These findings uncover an unanticipated nuclear function for PFDs in plant responses to abiotic stresses.

As a tropical archipelagic country,Indonesia’s forests possess high biodiversity,including its wide variety of wood *** of biomolecules released from woody plant extracts has been gaining attractive interests since in the middle of 20th *** paper focuses on a literature review of the potential valorisation of biomolecules released from twenty wood species exploited in *** has revealed that depending on the natural origin of the wood species studied and harmonized with the ethnobotanical and ethnomedicinal knowledge,the extractives derived from the woody plants have given valuable heritages in the fields of medicines and *** families of the bioactive compounds found in the extracts mainly consisted of flavonoids,stilbenes,stilbenoids,lignans,tannins,simple phenols,terpenes,terpenoids,alkaloids,quinones,and *** addition,biological or pharmacological activities of the extracts/isolated phytochemicals were recorded to have antioxidant,antimicrobial,antifungal,anti-inflammatory,anti-diabetes,anti-dysentery,anticancer,analgesic,anti-malaria,and anti-Alzheimer *** from these remarkable characteristics of woody plant extractives,further studies concerning the valorisation of these extractives in the fields of nutraceutical,cosmetic,bio-control,bio-stimulation,and other advanced applications would be of interest.

“什么”是汉语最基本、常用的疑问代词之一。“什么”看似简单,但是实际用法比较复杂,既有疑问用法,也有非疑问用法,汉语二语学习者要真正掌握并正确使用并不容易。印尼语中“apa”也是疑问代词,与汉语的“什么”相对应。“什么”和“apa”在意义和用法上既有相同点,又有不少差异,这给印尼汉语学习者学习“什么”带来了困扰,对此笔者深有体会。因此,本文在对汉语“什么”和印尼语“apa”进行对比分析的基础上,考察印尼汉语学习者“什么”的习得情况,对印尼学习者“什么”的偏误情况及偏误原因进行分析,并在此基础上提出相关教学建议。全文分为六章。第一章是综述,介绍“什么”的本体研究现状、印尼语“apa”的研究现状、留学生“什么”的习得研究现状,并介绍本文研究方法以及语料来源。第二章比较汉语“什么”与印尼语“apa”疑问用法的异同。相同的是,两个词都有问人、问事物、问事情、问处所以及目的和问原因的用法。不同的是,汉语“什么”还可以问时间,印尼语“apa”还可以表示疑问语气。第三章比较汉语“什么”与印尼语“apa”非疑问用法的异同。两者的相同之处是,都有表示任指、虚指、否定以及惊讶的用法,不过在句法方面还是有一些差异。两者的不同之处是,汉语“什么”还有表示承指和列举的用法,而印尼语“apa”还有表示选择、夸张和反问语气等用法。第四章考察印尼学习者“什么”的习得情况。在语料库统计和问卷调查的基础上,对印尼学习者的偏误情况进行分析。第五章是相关建议。从汉语教材、教学等方面提出建议。第六章是结语,总结全文的主要内容。

Background Currently,there is no comprehensive and multidisciplinary recommendation study covering all aspects of pediatric dysphagia(PD).This study aimed to generate PD management recommendations with methods that can be used in clinical practice to fill this gap in our country and in the world,from the perspective of experienced multidisciplinary *** This recommendation paper was generated by a multidisciplinary team,using the seven-step process and a three-round modified Delphi survey via ***,ten open-ended questions were created,and then detailed recommendations including management,diagnosis,treatment,and follow-up were created with the answers from these *** recommendation item was voted on by the experts as overall consensus(strong recommendation),approaching consensus(weak recommendation)and divergent consensus(not recommended).Results In the 1st Delphi round,a questionnaire of 414 items was prepared based on the experts’responses to ten open-ended *** the 2nd Delphi round,59.2%of these items were accepted as *** the 3rd Delphi round,62.6%of 246 items were accepted for inclusion in the *** final version recommendations consisted of 154 *** This study includes comprehensive and detailed answers for every problem that could be posed in clinical practice for the management of PD,and recommendations are for all pediatric patients with both oropharyngeal and esophageal dysphagia.
