High-Impedance Bus Differential Protection modeling in ATP/mODElS

Auricularia has a wide distribution all over the world and is very important due to its edibility and medicinal properties. morphological examinations and phylogenetic analyses of 255 samples from 34 countries in Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania were carried *** analyses were based on sequences of ITS, n lSU and rpb2 using methods of maximum pasimony, maximum likelihood and Bayesian analyses. According to the morphological and/or molecular characteristics, 33 Auricularia species are determined in the world. Six new species, A. camposi and *** in the A. cornea complex, A. lateralis and A. sinodelicata in the A. delicata complex, *** and A. submesenterica in the A. mesenterica complex, are described. In addition, two species *** and A. tremellosa respectively belonging to the A. mesenterica complex and the A. delicata complex are redefined. The morphological characteristics, illustrations, ecological habits, hosts and geographical distributions of these 33 species are outlined and discussed. Phylogenetic relationships based on the ITS dataset of 28 species and the concatenated ITS+nlSU+rpb2 dataset of 21 species are elluciated and discussed. In addition, morphological differences and phylogenetic relationships of species in five Auriculara complexes: the A. auricula-judae complex, the A. cornea complex, the A. delicata complex,the A. fuscosuccinea complex and the A. mesenterica complex, are elaborated. Synopsis data on comparisons of species in the four complexes are provided. An identification key for the accepted 33 species is proposed.

This paper presents a modeling of a high-impedance bus differential protection logic using the ATP (Alternative Transients Program) mODElS language. The model is validated using ATP simulations on an electrical system consisting of a sectionalized bus arrangement with four transmission lines (Tls) and two autotransformers. The obtained results validate the model and present some of the advantages of using this type of bus protection, such as fast and safe operation, even when under adverse conditions such as current transformers (CTs) magnetic core saturation upon the occurrence of external faults.

A dynamic sorption experiment was performed for removal of uranium （VI or 6＋） from a leachate from an alum shale landfill with a diatomite-bentonite based sorbent in a laboratory scale. Such material was grounded and treated chemically with H3PO4 （phosphoric acid） and thermally for improving its porosity and resistance to water flow. A specific surface area of 209 m2·g-1 was determined by the BET method. A sorption capacity of 30 μg·gl and 0.6 μg·g-1 was obtained at a pH of 7.5 and 4 respectively by means of langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The flow rate was 3 ml·min-1 was effective for controlling the pH inside of the column. The sorption mechanism was investigated along with desorption of the element of interest for further process design considerations for a treatment unit on the landfill site.

The objective of this work was to study the effect of different planting densities on the development and production of “Roxo de Valinhos” green figs for industry, in the Campo das Vertentes-mG region. The experiment was installed at the Risoleta Neves Experimental Field—CERN/EPAmIG. The plants used were three years old and were arranged in three randomized blocks, subject to three different planting densities, with spacings ranging from 1 m (4000 plants·ha-1), 1.5 m (2666 plants·ha-1), and 2 m (2000 plants·ha-1) between plants in the planting line and 2.5 m between row for all planting densities. The average length of the branches (m), average number of fruits per branch, average number of fruits per plant, average weight of fruits, average yield per plant and the average yield per hectare (kg) were evaluated. It was verified that, there were no significant differences in the length of branch and in the average weight of fruit, in the three densities of fig tree planting. (4000 plants·ha-1), the average number of fruits per branch (7.5), per plant (55.87) and yield per plant (878.93 kg) were lower, however. The average yield per hectare (3515.73 kg) was higher than in other growing densities. It is concluded that, the higher density of plants (4000 plants·ha-1), provides the highest productivity per area, without damages to the quality of the fruits.

We consider f(R,T) theory of gravity, where R is the curvature scalar and T is the trace of the energy momentum tensor. Attention is attached to the special case, f(R,T)=R+2f(T) and two expressions are assumed for the function f(T),(a1Tn+b1)/(a2Tn+b2) and a3Inq(b3Tm), where a1,a2 ,b1,b2,n,a3 ,b3,q and m are input parameters. We observe that by adjusting suitably these input parameters, energy conditions can be satisfied. moreover, an analysis of the perturbations and stabilities of de Sitter solutions and power-law solutions is performed with the use of the two models. The results show that for some values of the input parameters, for which energy conditions are satisfied, de Sitter solutions and power-law solutions may be stables.

Fruit rot, besides causing losses in production, reduces the final quality of the product interfering in the commercialization. The objective of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of alternative products applied to pre-harvest for control of brown rot (monilinia fructicola) and soft rot (Rhizopus spp.) In peaches. The experiment was conducted in the municipality of Nepomuceno-mG, in a peach orchard of the cultivar Diamante. The experimental design was a randomized block design with 7 treatments and 3 replicates, with field plots formed by 12 plants (arranged in 3 rows), being considered for the evaluations only the two central plants. Three applications were made at flowering and at 21;7 and 3 days before harvest, with solutions containing the following treatments: 1-Clove oil 0.1%;2-silicate clay 1.5%;3-Phosphite K 0.20%;4-Benzalkonium chloride 0.25%;5-Azoxystrobin 0.02%;6-Iprodione 0.15%;7-Witness (water only). Treatments 4 and 5 were applied only at 21 and 7 days before harvest. Ten fruits were selected and placed in sterile trays under uncontrolled conditions, with disease evaluations at 3 and 6 days after the beginning of storage in 2005 and at 3;6 and 9 days in 2006. The iprodione controlled the incidence of m. fructicola and had no effect on Rhizopus spp. Clove oil controlled the incidence and severity of m. fructicola by the fifth day and Rhizopus spp. by the sixth day. The phosphites of k, benzalkonium chloride and azoxystrobin were efficient in controlling the incidence and severity of Rhizopus spp. and had no effect on m. fructicola.

The Tityus serrulatus scorpion is considered the most dangerous scorpion in Brazil and is responsible for several cases of human envenomation annually. In this study, we performed transcriptome profiling of the T. serrulatus venom gland. In addition to transcripts with housekeeping functions, such as those related to protein synthesis, energy supply and structural processes, transcripts from thirty-five families of venom peptides or proteins were identified. These transcripts included three new complete sequences of toxins and more than a dozen putative venom gland proteins/peptides. The venom gland transcriptome profile was verified by comparison with the previously determined proteomic profile. In conclusion, this transcriptome data provides novel insights into the putative mechanisms underlying the venomous character of T. serrulatus. The collected data of scorpion transcripts and proteins/peptides described herein may be an important resource for identifying candidate targets of molecular therapies and preventative measures.
