The discharge of the antibiotic wastewater has increased dramatically in our country with the development of medical science and wide application of antibiotic,resulting in serious harm to human body and ecological *** this work,ciprofloxacin(CIP)was selected as one of typical antibiotics and heterogeneous Fenton-like catalysts were prepared for the treatment of ciprofloxacin *** sodium alginate(SA)gel microspheres catalysts were prepared by polymerization method using double metal ions of Fe^(3+)and Mn^(2+)as cross-linking *** conditions such as metal ions concentration,mass fraction of SA,polymerization temperature and dual-metal ions as crosslinking agent were ***,the effects of operating conditions such as initial concentration of CIP,pH value and catalyst dosage on CIP removal were *** kinetic equation showed that the effect of the initial concentration of CIP on the degradation rate was in line with second-order kinetics,and the effects of catalyst dosage and pH value on the degradation rate of CIP were in line with first-order *** SA gel microspheres catalysts prepared by dual-metal ions exhibited a high CIP removal and showed a good reusability after six *** SA gel microspheres catalysts with an easy recovery performance provided an economical and efficient method for the removal of antibiotics in the future.

Latex wastewater is a kind of refractory organic wastewater containing high concentrations of organics and ammonia *** this work,the combined process of forward osmosis(FO)and reverse osmosis(RO)was designed to treat the latex wastewater in the whole process,achieving the water recovery rate of 99%and basically no waste discharge after the catalytic oxidation *** turbidity of the latex wastewater was decreased to below 1 Ntu by microfiltration pretreatment,and then using MgCl_2 worked as the draw solution for FO process to treat the latex *** operation conditions including adding acid or scale inhibitor as the pretreatment methods were conducted to improve the treatment performance of the combined *** the treatment of the whole process,the concentration of COD was less than 20 mg·L^(-1),the concentration of NH_3-N was less than 10 mg·L^(-1),and the concentration of TP was less than 0.5 mg·L^(-1)for the treated latex *** water quality met standards of industrial water reuse after the complete analysis of the treated latex wastewater,meanwhile,useful substances of L-Quebrachitol(L-Q)were successfully extracted from the concentrated ***,the combined process of FO and RO could realize the efficient treatment and reuse of latex wastewater,which provided with some important guidance on the industrial application.

A new kind of Mg–2 Zn–0.6 Ca(wt%) alloy was fabricated by casting and hot extrusion as a high-ductility structural material. The extruded alloy exhibits a superior elongation of ～30%, yield strength of 130 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 280 MPa along the extrusion direction at room temperature. Microstructure, texture and tensile properties of the extruded alloy were investigated in details. The remarkable improvement of ductility is ascribed to the weakened basal texture, refined grains and a small number of second phase in the alloy.

In this paper,a predictive sliding mode control method based on multi-sensor fusion is proposed to solve the problem of insufficient accuracy in trajectory tracking caused by actuator *** controller,based on the kinematics model,uses an inner and outer two-layer structure to achieve decoupling of position control and heading control.A reference positional change rate is introduced into the design of controller,making the automatic guided vehicle(AGV)capable of real-time predictive control ability.A stability analysis and a proof of predictive sliding mode control theory are *** experimental results show that the new control algorithm can improve the performance of the AGV controller by referring to the positional change rate,thereby improving the AGV operation without derailing.

ZrC is a promising candidate for the application in ultra-high temperature regime due to its unique combination of excellent properties,such as high melting point,good chemical inertness and high temperature *** rapid decrease of strength at high temperatures,however,is one of the obstacles that impedes its practical *** of grain boundaries by solute segregation is believed to be an effective way to improve its high temperature ***,the segregation tendency of ten solid solute atoms,including Sc,Ti,V,Cr,Y,Nb,Mo,Hf,Ta,W,in Zr C grain boundaries,and the strengthening/weakening effects on grain boundaries due to segregation are investigated by first-principles *** segregation tendency is found dominated by the size effect,which is confirmed by both a qualitative analysis and a quantitative approach based on support vector *** means that big atoms tend to segregate to grain boundary sites with local expansions,while small atoms tend to segregate to grain boundary sites with local *** on stress-strain responses indicate that segregation of small atoms(Ti,V,Cr,Nb,Ta,Mo,W)can usually improve grain boundary strengths by inducing compression strains to grain boundaries,even though there is also an *** contrast,segregation of Sc and Y will soften grain *** results reveal that strengthening of grain boundaries by solute segregation is a valuable avenue to enhance high temperature mechanical properties of ZrC,providing guidelines for further design of ZrC based materials.

Stalk lodging is prone to occur during the harvesting of green forage maize due to the header and root anchorage,resulting in loss of *** particular,the fallen stalk wraps around the header,causing a blockage and increasing the energy *** address this problem,the deflection model was analyzed and established and a novel method to explore the field bend characteristics of green forage maize was *** effects of stalk diameter,bending angle,and cutting height on bending stress and Young’s modulus were explored by using the method of in-situ ***,the bending deflection,axial displacement and measuring point displacement were *** results indicate that the stalk diameter and bending angle have a significant influence on bending *** bending stress has a positive correlation with bending angle and cutting height,while there is a negative correlation with stalk *** the other hand,the bending angle,stalk diameter,and cutting height are closely related to the Young’s *** mean values of the Young’s modulus decrease as a quadratic function with the increasing diameter and bending angle,while the cutting height has the opposite effect on ***,the average values of bending deflection,axial displacement,and measuring point displacement exhibit an increasing trend when the bending angle and cutting height *** study results can provide a reference for studying the failure mechanism of green forage maize stalk harvesting,and the design of green forage maize harvesting machinery.

Monoclinic SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8) ceramics for Sr immobilization were prepared by a liquid-phase sintering *** sintering temperature,mineral phase composition,microstructure,flexural strength,bulk density,and Sr ion leaching characteristics of the SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8) ceramics were investigated.A crystalline monoclinic SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8) phase formed through liquid-phase sintering at 1223 *** introduction of four flux agents(B_(2)O_(3),CaO·2B_(2)O_(3),SrO·2B_(2)O_(3),and BaO·2B_(2)O_(3))to the SrAl_(2)Si_(2)O_(8) ceramics not only reduced the densification temperature and decreased the volatilization of Sr during high-temperature sintering but also impacted the mechanical properties of the *** consistency tests showed that the leaching concentration of Sr ions in the sample with flux agent B_(2)O_(3) was the lowest,whereas that of Sr ions in the sample with flux agent BaO·2B_(2)O_(3) was the *** results show that the leaching concentration of Sr ions depends largely on the amorphous phase in the ***,the formation of mineral analog ceramics containing Sr is an important factor to improve Sr immobilization.

The Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has become a global crisis and is more devastating than any other previous infectious *** has affected a significant proportion of the global population both physically and mentally,and destroyed businesses and *** evidence suggested that immunopathology may be responsible for COVID-19 pathogenesis,including lymphopenia,neutrophilia,dysregulation of monocytes and macrophages,reduced or delayed type I interferon(IFN-I)response,antibody-dependent enhancement,and especially,cytokine storm(CS).The CS is characterized by hyperproduction of an array of pro-inflammatory cytokines and is closely associated with poor *** excessively secreted pro-inflammatory cytokines initiate different inflammatory signaling pathways via their receptors on immune and tissue cells,resulting in complicated medical symptoms including fever,capillary leak syndrome,disseminated intravascular coagulation,acute respiratory distress syndrome,and multiorgan failure,ultimately leading to death in the most severe ***,it is clinically important to understand the initiation and signaling pathways of CS to develop more effective treatment strategies for ***,we discuss the latest developments in the immunopathological characteristics of COVID-19 and focus on CS including the current research status of the different cytokines *** also discuss the induction,function,downstream signaling,and existing and potential interventions for targeting these cytokines or related signal *** believe that a comprehensive understanding of CS in COVID-19 will help to develop better strategies to effectively control immunopathology in this disease and other infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Spatial interpolation of orchard soil pH using soil type and planting duration as auxiliary information

Intensified field management in orcahrds has resulted in significant and widespread acidification in the ***,effectively mapping the spatial patterns of soil pH aiming to support ecological management is impeded by its large variotions across soil types and planting *** methods were used to integrate soil type and planting duration information for effective mapping of orchard soil pH in a case study in orchards of the Northeast Jiaodong Peninsula,East China.A total o f 1472 surface soil samples were collected,and the planting duration o f each sampled orchard was acquired to generate a planting duration map via Voronoi *** performance of five kriging methods was compared,namely,ordinary kriging(OK),OK combined with soil type(OK_ST),OK combined with planting duration(OK_PD),cokriging combined with soil type and planting duration(OCK_STPD),and OK combined with soil type and planting duration(OK_STPD).Results showed that soil pH declined significantly with increasing planting duration and exhibited moderate spatial variability over the study *** type and planting duration both had significant influence on the spatial distribution of soil *** OCK_STPD and OK_STPD methods showed better prediction efficiency than OK,OK_ST,or OK_*** regard to the predicted maps of soil pH,the OCK_STPD and OK_STPD methods highly reflected local variations associated with soil type and planting duration,but the OK method was poorly *** soil type and planting duration information may be used as ancillary information to improve the mapping quality o f orchard soil *** OCK_STPD and OK_STPD methods were practical and efficient methods for interpolating orchard soil pH in the study *** resultant high-quality soil pH maps can contribute to improved site-specific management in the orchards.

AIM: To characterize gene polymorphism of several cytokine gene in-patients with AIH and PBC and to analyze the difference of the polymorphism distribution between Chinese patients and healthy ***: The study population consisted of 62 patients with AIH, and 77 patients with PBC. The genetic profile of four cytokines was analyzed by restriction fragmentlength polymorphism after specific PCR amplification (PCR-RFLP) or sequence-specific primers PCR (SSP-PCR). The analyzed gene polymorphism included interleukin-1 (IL-1) (at position +3 953 and IL-1RN intron 2), IL-6 (atposition -174), IL-10 promoter (at position -1 082, -819, and -592). The control group consisted of 160 healthyblood ***: The majority of Chinese people including patients and healthy controls exhibited IL-1B 1,1genotype, and there was no significant difference in AIH, PBC patients and controls. There were highly statistically significant differences in the distribution of the IL-1RN gene polymorphism between the patients with PBCcompared with controls. The frequency of IL-1RN 1,1was significantly higher (90.9% vs 79.4%, P = 0.03)and the frequency of IL-1RN 1,2 was significantly lower in PBC patients (6.5% vs 17.5%, P = 0.01). No statistical difference was observed between AIH patients and controls. All of the 160 healthy controls and 62 cases of AIH patients exhibited IL-6-174GG genotype, and there were four cases, which expressed IL-6-174GC genotype in 77 cases of PBC patients. The frequency of IL-6-174GC was markedly significantly higher in PBC patients compared with controls (5.2% vs 0%, P = 0.004). No statistically significant difference was found in the distribution of IL-10 promoter genotype in AIH and PBC patients compared with controls. CONCLUSION: The polymorphisms of IL-1RN and IL-6 -174G/C appear to be associated with PBC in Chinese patients.
