We report a high power high beam quality quasi-continuous-wave(QCW)diode-end-pumped Nd:YAG slab amplifier at 1319 *** strongest 1064 nm parasitic oscillation has been successfully suppressed by reasonable coating *** a five-pass configuration,the amplifier yields a 42.3 W linearly polarized 1319 nm output at repetition rate of 1 kHz with pulse duration of 75μs and beam quality factors of M^(2)_(x)=1.13 and M^(2)_(y)=2.16 in the orthogonal *** fluctuation of the amplifier output power is measured to be±0.6%.Furthermore,a computational model of QCW pulse amplification is employed to examine the amplification process.

Background: Schistosoma turkestanicum is a parasite of considerable veterinary importance as an agent of animal schistosomiasis in many countries, including China. The S. turkestanicum cercariae can also infect humans, causing cercarial dermatitis in many countries and regions of the world. In spite of its significance as a pathogen of animals and humans, there is little transcriptomic and genomic data in the public databases. Methods: Herein, we performed the transcriptome Illumina RNA sequencing(RNA-seq) of adult males and females of S. turkestanicum and de novo transcriptome assembly. Results: Approximately 81.1(female) and 80.5(male) million high-quality clean reads were obtained and then 29,526(female) and 41,346(male) unigenes were assembled. A total of 34,624 unigenes were produced from S. turkestanicum females and males, with an average length of 878 nucleotides(nt) and N50 of 1480 nt. Of these unigenes, 25,158(72.7%) of them were annotated by blast searches against the NCBI non-redundant protein database. Among these, 21,995(63.5%), 22,189(64.1%) and 13,754(39.7%) of the unigenes had significant similarity in the NCBI non-redundant protein(NR), non-redundant nucleotide(NT) and Swiss-Prot databases, respectively. In addition, 3,150 unigenes were identified to be expressed specifically in females and 1,014 unigenes were identified to be expressed specifically in males. Interestingly, several pathways associated with gonadal development and sex maintenance were found, including the Wnt signaling pathway(103;2%) and progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation(77;1.5%). Conclusions: The present study characterized and compared the transcriptomes of adult female and male blood fluke, S. turkestanicum. These results will not only serve as valuable resources for future functional genomics studies to understand the molecular aspects of S. turkestanicum, but also will provide essential information for ongoing whole genome sequencing efforts on this pathogenic blood fluke

There exist differences in the epidemiological characteristics,clinicopathological features,tumor biological characteristics,treatment patterns,and drug selections between gastric cancer patients from the Eastern and Western *** Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO)has organized a panel of senior experts specializing in all sub-specialties of gastric cancer to compile a clinical guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer since 2016 and renews it *** into account regional differences,giving full consideration to the accessibility of diagnosis and treatment resources,these experts have conducted expert consensus judgment on relevant evidence and made various grades of recommendations for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer to reflect the value of cancer treatment and meeting health economic indexes in *** 2021 CSCO Clinical Practice Guidelines for Gastric Cancer covers the diagnosis,treatment,follow-up,and screening of gastric *** on the 2020 version of the CSCO Chinese Gastric Cancer guidelines,this updated guideline integrates the results ofmajor clinical studies from China and overseas for the past year,focused on the inclusion of research data from the Chinese population for more personalized and clinically relevant *** the comprehensive treatment of non-metastatic gastric cancer,attentions were paid to neoadjuvant *** value of perioperative chemotherapy is gradually becoming clearer and its recommendation level has been *** the comprehensive treatment of metastatic gastric cancer,recommendations for immunotherapy were included,and immune checkpoint inhibitors fromthird-line to the first-line of treatment for different patient groups with detailed notes are provided.

By optimizing theⅤ/Ⅲbeam-equivalent pressure ratio,a high-quality InAs/GaSb type-Ⅱsuperlattice material for the long-wavelength infrared(LWIR)range is achieved by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE).High-resolution x-ray diffraction(HRXRD),atomic force microscopy(AFM),and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectrometer are used to characterize the material growth *** results show that the full width at half maximum(FWHM)of the superlattice zero-order diffraction peak,the mismatching of the superlattice zero-order diffraction peak between the substrate diffraction peaks,and the surface roughness get the best results when the beam-equivalent pressure(BEP)ratio reaches the optimal value,which are 28 arcsec,13 arcsec,and 1.63?,*** intensity of the zero-order diffraction peak is strongest at the optimal *** relative spectral response of the LWIR detector shows that it exhibits a 100%cut-off wavelength of 12.6μm at 77 ***-quality epitaxial materials have laid a good foundation for preparing high-performance LWIR detector.

Launching,tracking,and controlling picosecond acoustic(PA)pulses are fundamentally important for the construction of ultrafast hypersonic wave sources,ultrafast manipulation of matter,and spatiotemporal imaging of ***,we show that GHz PA pulses can be all-optically generated,detected,and manipulated in a 2D layered MoS_(2)∕glass heterostructure using femtosecond laser *** on an interferometric model,PA pulse signals in glass are successfully decoupled from the coexisting temperature and photocarrier relaxation and coherent acoustic phonon(CAP)oscillation signals of MoS_(2)lattice in both time and frequency *** selective interface excitations,temperature-mediated interfacial phonon scatterings can compress PA pulse widths by about 50%.By increasing the pump fluences,anharmonic CAP oscillations of MoS_(2)lattice are *** a result,the increased interatomic distance at the MoS_(2)∕glass interface that reduces interfacial energy couplings can markedly broaden the PA pulse widths by about 150%.Our results open new avenues to obtain controllable PA pulses in 2D semiconductor/dielectric heterostructures with femtosecond laser pump-probe,which will enable many investigations and applications.

High-power ultraviolet 278-nm laser from fourth-harmonic generation of an Nd：YAG amplifier in CsB3O5 crystal

＜正＞Neuropathic pain is characterized by a heightened painful response to noxious（hyperalgesia） or innocuous（allodynia） stimulation,and pain at rest（spontaneous pain）.At present no effective drug is available for the clinical symptom.A recent study has shown that the translocator protein（TSPO,18 kDa）,a peripheral receptor for benzodiazepine,modulates pain behaviors of rats induced by *** the present study,we evaluated the role of TSPO in neuropthic pain produced by L5 spinal nerve ligation（L5 SNL） with use of behavioral testing, immunohistochemistry and Western blot *** found that TSPO was up-regulated in spinal dorsal horn following L5 SNL and the change lasted until behavioral signs of neuropathic pain diminished（around 50 d）.Double immunofluorescence showed that in naive rats,TSPO was located mainly in astrocytes,to a lesser extent in neurons, but not in microglia,whereas following L5 SNL,TSPO was upregulated in astrocytes and microglia,but not in *** data showed that single intrathecal injection of TSPO agonist Ro5-4864 or FGIN-1-27 reversed established mechanical allodynia induced by L5 SNL *** and Western blot showed that intrathecal injection of Ro5-4864 reversed activation of astrocytes,and depressed p38 MAPK activation,which is exclusively activated in spinal microglial cells following peripheral nerve *** data suggested that activation of TSPO by agonists might reverse neuropathic pain by inhibition of activated glial cells.

We report on the experimental investigation and theoretical analysis of a nanosecond pulse high power ultraviolet（UV） 278 nm laser by fourth-harmonic generation（FHG） of a 1112-nm Nd：YAG amplifier in LiB3O5（LBO） and CsB3O5（CBO） crystals. The UV laser delivers a maximum average power of 10.3 W at 278 nm with peak power of 36.8 k W under input pump power of 41 W at 556 nm. This is, to the best of our knowledge, the highest output power at the specific UV wavelength of 278 nm. We also performed the theoretical investigation on the FHG with a model in the Gaussian approximation of both spatial and temporal profiles, especially accounting for the two-photon absorption effect in CBO crystal for the first time. The average output power, pulse width, and beam spatial distribution of the UV laser were simulated. The theoretical calculations are in close agreement with the experimental results.
