Objective:Conversion of normal cells to cancer cells is often accompanied by abnormal synthesis of serum enzymes.Both alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)have been reported to have prognostic value in a variety of malignancies.The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of preoperative serum ALP and LDH levels on the prognosis of patients with periampullary carcinoma who underwent pancreatoduodenectomy(PD).

Multi-substituted cyclohexanes play a crucial role as scaffolds in bioactive compounds.While significant progress has been made in synthesizing substituted cyclohexanes,methods for the stereoselective assembly of 1,3-disubstituted cyclohexanes remain scarce.This study presents a novel approach involving nickel catalysis to achieve stereoselective carboboration of 1,4-cyclohexadiene.This innovative process allows for the simultaneous introduction of a boron group and an aryl or an alkyl fragment into the 1,4-cyclohexadiene framework under mild conditions,with exclusive regioselectivity and excellent cis configuration.The resulting products feature a double carbon bond and the incorporation of the boron group,offering significant potential for subsequent transformations and downstream applications.

Ultrastable and High-Performance Silk Energy Harvesting Textiles

In order to analyze the influence factors of vehicle interior gear whining order noise from the mechanism,a time-domain hybrid analysis model of gear whining is built in this paper.The acceleration of the mount’s active side and near-field noise result is acquired mainly based on the time-domain dynamic multibody model.Then the result data is used as input and loaded into the vehicle timedomain transmission path mathematical model,so as to calculate the vehicle interior gear whining order noise through virtual analysis.Compared with the real vehicle test results,the frequency error of the vehicle interior gear whining order noise calculated by this method does not exceed 6%,and the amplitude error does not exceeded 12%.On this basis,the method is applied to analyze the sensitivity of the factors affecting the gear whining on a certain vehicle type.It is found that the tooth shape modification and high-frequency vibration isolation of the mount etc.are the main causes of the vehicle interior gear whining.After the verification of the real vehicle test,the good accuracy of this modeling method is furtherly proved,which provides a powerful technical reference for the industry to solve this problem.

Energy harvesting textiles(EHTs)have attracted much attention in wearable electronics and the internet-of-things for real-time mechanical energy harvesting associated with human activities.However,to satisfy practical application requirements,especially the demand for long-term use,it is challenging to construct an energy harvesting textile with elegant trade-off between mechanical and triboelectric performance.In this study,an energy harvesting textile was constructed using natural silk inspired hierarchical structural designs combined with rational material screening;this design strategy provides multiscale opportunities to optimize the mechanical and triboelectric performance of the final textile system.The resulting EHTs with traditional advantages of textiles showed good mechanical properties(tensile strength of 237±13 MPa and toughness of 4.5±0.4 MJ m−3 for single yarns),high power output(3.5 mW m−2),and excellent structural stability(99%conductivity maintained after 2.3 million multi-type cyclic deformations without severe change in appearance),exhibiting broad application prospects in integrated intelligent clothing,energy harvesting,and human-interactive interfaces.

Bioinspired Multi-Metal Structures(MMSs)combine distinct properties of multiple materials,benefiting from improved properties and providing superior designs.Additive Manufacturing(AM)exhibits enormous advantages in applying different materials and geometries according to the desired functions at specific locations of the structure,having great potential in fabricating multi-materials structures.However,current AM techniques have difficulty manufacturing 3D MMSs without material cross-contamination flexibly and reliably.This study demonstrates a reliable,fast,and flexible direct ink writing method to fabricate 3D MMSs.The in-situ material-switching system enables the deposition of multiple metallic materials across different layers and within the same layer.3D Fe-Cu MMSs with complex geometries and fine details are fabricated as proof of concept.The microstructures,chemical and phase compositions,and tensile fracture surfaces of the Fe-Cu interfaces indicate a well-bonded interface without cracks,delamination,or material cross-contamination.We envision this novel method making other metallic combinations and even metal-ceramic components.It paves the way for manufacturing 3D MMSs using AM and establishes the possibilities of numerous MMSs applications in engineering fields.

Numerical Study on Motion Responses of Two Parallel Ships During Underway Replenishment by the Semi-Analytical HOTP Method

Motion responses of two ships advancing parallel in waves with hydrodynamic interactions are investigated in this paper. Within the framework of the frequency-domain potential flow theory, a semi-analytical higher-order translating-pulsating source(HOTP) method is presented to solve the problems of coupled radiation and diffraction potential. The method employs nine-node bi-quadratic curvilinear elements to discretize the boundary integral equations(BIEs) constructed over the mean wetted surface of the two ship hulls. In order to eliminate the numerical oscillation, analytical quadrature formulas are derived and adopted to evaluate the integrals related to the Froudedependent part of the Green’s function along the horizontal direction in the BIEs. Based on the method, a numerical program is originally coded. Through the calculations of hydrodynamic responses of single ships, the numerical implementation is proved successful. Then the validated program is applied in the investigations on the hydrodynamic interactions of two identical Wigley Ⅲ hulls and the underway replenishment of a frigate and a supply ship in waves with and without stagger, respectively. The comparison between the present computed results with experimental data and numerical solutions of other methods shows that the semi-analytical HOTP method is of higher accuracy than the pulsating source Green’s function method with speed correction and better stability than the traditional HOTP method based on Gauss quadrature. In addition, for two ships with obviously different dimensions,the influence of hydrodynamic interactions on the smaller ship is found to be more noticeable than that on the larger ship, which leads to the differences between the motions of frigate with and without the presence of supply ship.

This paper develops a fully data-driven,missingdata tolerant method for post-fault short-term voltage stability(STVS)assessment of power systems against the incomplete PMU measurements.The super-resolution perception(SRP),based on a deep residual learning convolutional neural network,is employed to cope with the missing PMU measurements.The incremental broad learning(BL)is used to rapidly update the model to maintain and enhance the online application performance.Being different from the state-of-the-art methods,the proposed method is fully data-driven and can fill up missing data under any PMU placement information loss and network topology change scenario.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method has the best performance in terms of STVS assessment accuracy and missing-data tolerance among the existing methods on the benchmark testing system.
