Som. m.re new fluorine substitutedam.no com.ounds bearing 6-aryl-5-oxo-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl m.ieties and its derivatives 3 - 7 have been synthesised successfully from.aroylation of 6-(2’-am.nophenyl)-3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5-one (1), followed by fluoro am.nation with 4-fluoroanilinein Abs EtOH and then treated with am.onia/EtOH and finally acylation/aroylation or cyclocondensation reactions with m.lonic acid in AcOH. Structure of the products has been established upon elem.ntal analysis and their spectral m.asurem.nts. All the obtained com.ounds evaluated as antim.crobial agents were the com.ounds which contained both nitro and fluorine elem.nts and exhibited a highly activity the other derivatives.

A sim.le condensation afforded som. new 3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5-one derivatives (4, 6 and 8). Utilizing a facile condensation of (E)-4-(4’-brom. styryl)-2-oxo-3-buteneoic acid with thiosem.carbazide, dithioic form.c acid hydrazide, and thiocarbahydrazide in different conditions. Structures of these com.ounds were confirm.d by elem.ntal and spectral analysis. The prelim.nary biocidal activity of these products were evaluated against som. m.crobial and com.ared to m.costatine and piperacillin as antibiotics were m.st of derivatives exhibited good activity.

In search for new potential inhibitors som. new fluorine substituted thiobarbituric acid derivatives (2-4, 7, 8) and their fused/isolated heterobicyclic nitrogen system. (5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12) have been synthesized from.heterocyclization of fluorinated 1,3-diketoam.ne (1) with CS2 followed by ring closure reactions with prim.ry nitrogen reagents. Structures of the targets have been established from.elem.ntal analysis and spectral data. Som. synthesized system. have been evaluated as anti-HIV-1 and of cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) for cell tum.r division.

Novel 4-thiazolidione and 1,4-bis-thiazolidinone derivatives bearing antipyrine m.iety have been obtained from.condensation of 4-am.noantipyrine 1 with arom.tic/heteroaldehydes followed by cycloaddition with m.rcaptoacetic acid in nonpolar solvents. Structure of the products has been deduced upon their elem.ntal analysis and spectral m.asurem.nts. m.st of the targets evaluated as enzym.tic effect towards som. bacteria (E. coli) in com.are with Xanthine oxidase (from.butterm.lk) where the role of com.ounds is an inhibition of purine m.tabolism.enzym.s caused by E. coli.

Highly efficient syntheses of novel fluorine bearing quinoline-4-carboxylic acids and the related com.ounds had been achieved from.cyclocondensation of 2-am.no-5-fluorophenyl glyoxylic acid 1 with benzoyle asetanilides 2 in boiling Dm., to give the target 3. Decarboxylation of 3 produced 6-fluoro-2-phenyl-3-(substituted am.no)-keto-quinolines 4, while that reaction underwent refluxing, afforded 7-fluoro-1-(aryl)-3-phenyl-pyrrolo[3,4-c] quinoline-2,9-diones 5. Structure of the products has been established from.their elem.ntal and spectral analysis. All targets exhibited a high to m.derate activity against som. Aspergillus fungi as am.lolytic agents.

Novel fluorine substituted α-am.no phosphonic acids containing 1,2,4-triazin- 5-one (6a-f) have been obtained from.fluoroacylation of 6-(2&prim.;-am.no-5&prim.;-nitrophenyl)-3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one (1) followed by am.onilysis to give the corresponding 3-am.no-derivative 3. Condensation of com.ound 3 with nitro/halogenated arom.tic aldehydes yielded the Schiff bases 4. The sim.le addition of diethyl phosphonate to com.ound 4 produced the α-am.no phosphonates 5. Acidic hydrolysis of com.ound 5 produced the fluorine substituted α-am.no acids derivatives 6. Structures of the new com.ounds have been established with the help of elem.ntal analysis and spectral m.asurem.nts. Also, the products evaluated as antioxidants, where the fluorinated α-am.no phosphonic acids 6 are m.re active than the other synthesized system..

New fluorine substituted 6-(5’-fluoro-2’-triphenylphosphinim.nophenyl) 3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5 (2H, 4H) one (2) was obtained via Wittig’s reaction of the corresponding 6-(5’-fluoro-2’-am.no-phenyl)-3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazinone (1). Behavior of com.ound 2 towards alkylating agents and/or oxidizing agents was studied were, N-hydroxyl (3), m.nnich base (4,5), S-alkyl (6,7,8) and thiazolo [3,2-b][1,2,4] triazinones (10-14) and or 3-disulfide (18), 3-sulfonic acid 19 and 1,2,4-triazin-3,5-Dionne (20) derivatives obtained. Structures of the new products are established by elem.ntal and spectral data. The new targets obtained screened as m.lluscicidalagents against Biom.phlaria Alexandrina snails responsible for Bilharziasis diseases, in com.are with Baylucide as standard drug.

Novel 6-(5’-fluoro-2’-diphenylphosphorylanilido)-3-hydrazino-1,2,4-trizin-5 (2H) one (3) is achieved from.hydrozinolysis of the corresponding 3-thioxo-analoges 2. Com.ound 2 is also obtained from.phosphorylation of 6-(5’-fluoro-2’-am.nophenyl)-3-thioxo-1,2,4-triazin-5(2H) one (1). Novel fluorine substituted isolated and/or fused heterobicyclic nitrogen system. bearing and/or containing, 6-phosphoryl anilido-1,2,4-trizin-5 (2H) one m.iety (4 - 22) have been synthesized from.ring closure reactions of com.ound 3 with π-acceptors activated carbon com.ounds in different m.dium.and conditions. Structures of the products are characterized by m., IR, UV-VIS, CH, N, and 1H/13CNm. spectral data. The new products have been evaluated as potential inhibitors towards HIV-1 activity.

A new biocidal agents fluorine substituted-3-thioxopyrim.dine-5-carbonitriles (2-9) and/or the related fluorine substi- tuted pyrim.do (4,5-d) pyrim.dines (10-14) were synthesized by the cycloaddition of fluorinated β- arylidine m.lo- nonitriles (1a-c) followed by a nucleophilic attack against α,β-bifunctional reagents in different conditions. Structures of the fluorine targets were characterized by their elem.ntal analysis and spectral data (UV, IR, 1H Nm., 13C Nm. and m.ss m.asurem.nts) and further evaluated as photochem.cal probe for inhibition of Vitiligo, it was found that com.ounds 5, 9, 11 and 12 exhibited high potency over the investigated com.ounds.
