Purpose: To report the retrospective study of using intravaginal brachytherapy as adjuvant monotherapy for endometrial cancer. Materials and Methods: From 2001-2009, 47 patients who received completely surgical staging for endometrial carcinoma and were designed by multidisciplinary team were enrolled. All patients received intravaginal brachytherapy (IVBT) with the dose of 5.5 - 7 Gy in 2 - 6 fractions. The treatment results and late toxicities were evaluated and recorded. Results: At the median follow-up time of 44 months, the local control, disease-free survival, metastasis-free survival and overall survival rates were 100%, 97.9%, 97.9% and, 97.9%, respectively. Only age showed the statistical significance with the p-value of 0.046. Two patients (4.3%) developed late genitourinary toxicity. Conclusion: The using of adjuvant IVBT as monotherapy for endometrial carcinoma is feasible.

In order to evaluate the effect of phenotype and quail age on laying rate and egg characteristics, a study has been carried out in Ngaoundéré from February to August 2019. 216 quails were divided into 36 batches of 6 animals each (5 females and 1 male) according to age and phenotype. The experimental animals were white, spotted white, grey and brown phenotypes and were one, six and ten months old. Eggs were collected for three weeks between 8 pm - 4 pm and 4 pm - 8 pm, counted, weighed and measured. 15 eggs per phenotype were randomly selected, broken individually, which allowed the internal parameters to be evaluated. The main results show that the quails laid more eggs between 4 pm - 8 pm, the highest laying rate was obtained in quails at one moth of laying and the spotted white phenotype had a high laying rate (74.03%) compared to other phenotypes. Purpose: To report the retrospective study of external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) ± intravaginal brachytherapy (IVBT) as adjuvant treatment for endometrial cancer. Materials and Methods: From 2001-2009, 152 patients received complete surgical staging for endometrial carcinoma and were designed by a multidisciplinary team to receive EBRT ± IVBT. The treatment results and late toxicities were evaluated and recorded. Results: At the median follow-up time of 43 months, the disease-free survival, metastasis-free survival and overall survival rates were 96.9%, 96.9% and 96.9%, respectively. Stage and age showed the statistical significance with the p-value of less than 0.001. From five to ten percent of patients developed Grades 1-2 late gastrointestinal and genitourinary toxicities, respectively. Conclusion: The using of adjuvant EBRT ± IVBT for endometrial?carcinoma yielded treatment results and acceptable toxicities.

The Associations for Vaginal Point Doses of Vaginal Stenosis in Image-Guided Brachytherapy

Purpose: To evaluate the associations for vaginal dose points of vaginal stricture in image-guided brachytherapy. Materials and Methods: Twenty-six patients of locally advanced cervical cancer were treated with Image-Guided Brachytherapy (IGBT) with the dose at least 7 Gy per fraction to the D90 of High-Risk Clinical Target Volume (HR-CTV). The vaginal dose points of recommendations of the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) were added into the plan and cumulative dose to these points was evaluated in Equivalent Dose of 2 Gy (EQD2) concepts. Results: The mean doses to right vaginal dose point (VR), left vaginal dose point (VL) and average dose of VR/VL ((VR + VL)/2) were 101.5 Gy, 98.2 Gy and 99.8 Gy in EQD2 concepts, respectively. Volume-based planning significantly reduced the cumulative dose in EQD2 concepts at vaginal points. At the median follow-up time of 22 months, grade-2 vaginal stricture was observed in two patients. The incidences of vaginal stricture were not differed between the cumulative dose to vaginal dose points in EQD2 concepts of ≤90 Gy versus >90 Gy (P = 1.000) and ≤100 Gy versus >100 Gy (P = 0.815). Conclusion: No association for cumulative vaginal doses and events of vaginal stricture was found.

BAC文库是基因组分析的有力工具,再结合最新兴起且快速的深度测序技术,从而提供了一个很好的基因组计划的信息平台。本研究介绍了一个产于丹麦的雄性美洲貂CHORI-231BAC文库的构建方法及其特点,该文库包含了165888个克隆,平均插入片段在170kb,代表了约10倍的覆盖度。用一个有18432个克隆位点的高密度过滤器复制两份,用于杂交测序及公共使用。基于Overgo探针的表达序列标记,代表21个与毛皮工业关系密切的特征候选基因,用于BAC文库的筛选,这些候选基因包括了毛色、毛发生长、毛发长度和粗细及一些毛皮病毒疾病的感受器受体等。大规模测序以寻找其中19个相关基因。将获得的与这些基因相关的35个克隆进行高通量测序,并对大的重叠群进行组装。知道这些候选基因的全长序列之后有助于确认表型的位置及揭示目的性状的成因。另外,对1577个克隆进行了末端测序,获得了2505个克隆的末端序列(80%的BAC克隆),对剩余2Mb进行了分析,从而获得了貂皮整个基因组的快照。所构建的CHORI-321美洲貂BAC文库可用于基因和基因组兴趣位点的鉴定。试验描述了如何利用此文库进行特殊位点的鉴定,开发遗传标记,用于BAC末端测序和深度测序以选取克隆。这是首次利用454测序来挑选哺乳动物的克隆,确认了利用此技术获得小基因组目的基因序列信息的可行性。文中所获得的BAC末端测序结果已保存到GenBank数据库(HN339419-HN341884,HN604664-HN604702),从所选取克隆中获得的454序列重叠群的参考编码为(GenBank:JF288166-JF288183&JF310744)。

Modern life has contributed both to increasing living standards,increasing comfort and the development of society,but also to increasing the amount of waste that suffocates the planet and threatens the existence of present and future *** the solutions that are sought and that are included in various programs and policies,the concept of circular economy is one that is increasingly discussed when talking about the sustainable development of *** circular economy implies a reduction of the natural resources consumed due to both recycling and their fair *** the *** the foundations have been laid for policies aimed at waste management to ensure the application of the principles of the circular *** the importance that the quantification of the indicators for implementing the circular economy have on the elaboration of more efficient policies,but also on the determination of the degree of implementation of this concept,in this paper we intend to analyze the evolution of these indicators from 2010-2019,in the European Union using a customized version of the DPSIR *** analysis led us to the conclusion that although important steps have been taken towards the transition to the circular economy,there are still many aspects that need to be improved in order to achieve the proposed objectives through European policies.

We report on a two-arm hybrid high-power laser system(HPLS) able to deliver 2 × 10 PW femtosecond pulses,developed at the Bucharest-Magurele Extreme Light Infrastructure Nuclear Physics(ELI-NP) Facility. A hybrid frontend(FE) based on a Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplifier and a picosecond optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier based on beta barium borate(BBO) crystals, with a cross-polarized wave(XPW) filter in between, has been *** delivers 10 mJ laser pulses, at 10 Hz repetition rate, with more than 70 nm spectral bandwidth and high-intensity contrast, in the range of 1013:1. The high-energy Ti:sapphire amplifier stages of both arms were seeded from this common FE. The final high-energy amplifier, equipped with a 200 mm diameter Ti:sapphire crystal, has been pumped by six 100 J nanosecond frequency doubled Nd:glass lasers, at 1 pulse/min repetition rate. More than 300 J output pulse energy has been obtained by pumping with only 80% of the whole 600 J available pump energy. The compressor has a transmission efficiency of 74% and an output pulse duration of 22.7 fs was measured, thus demonstrating that the dual-arm HPLS has the capacity to generate 10 PW peak power femtosecond pulses. The reported results represent the cornerstone of the ELI-NP 2 × 10 PW femtosecond laser facility, devoted to fundamental and applied nuclear physics research.

We report on the generation and delivery of 10.2 PW peak power laser pulses,using the High Power Laser System at the Extreme Laser Infrastructure–Nuclear Physics *** this work we demonstrate for the first time,to the best of our knowledge,the compression and propagation of full energy,full aperture,laser pulses that reach a power level of more than 10 PW.
