In this work we consider black hole solutions to Einstein’s theory coupled to a nonlinear powerlaw electromagnetic field with a fixed exponent *** study the extended phase space thermodynamics in canonical and grand canonical ensembles,where the varying cosmological constant plays the role of an effective thermodynamic *** examine thermodynamical phase transitions in such black holes and find that both first-and second-order phase transitions can occur in the canonical ensemble while,for the grand canonical ensemble,Hawking-Page and second-order phase transitions are allowed.

A simple recursive algorithm to generate the set of natural numbers, based on Mersenne numbers: MN = 2N – 1, is used to count the number of prime numbers within the precise Mersenne natural number intervals: [0;MN]. This permits the formulation of an extended twin prime conjecture. Moreover, it is found that the prime numbers subsets contained in Mersenne intervals have cardinalities strongly correlated with the corresponding Mersenne numbers.

地形数据的质量(精度和分辨率)影响着地球科学的研究水平。Li DAR测量是目前获取高分辨率地形数据的有效技术方法之一,但是其高昂的测量成本和相对复杂的后期数据处理限制了Li DAR技术的大众化应用。近年来,一种被称为Sf M(Structure from Motion)的适合大众化使用的新的高精度3维地形数据获取技术开始引起人们的注意。这种新型数字摄影测量技术可以利用高效的图像特征匹配算法从多视角照片中提取重叠区域的3维地形数据。由于Sf M技术仅需要目标物体的照片,而且对相机拍摄位置、图像尺度及拍摄焦距没有要求,因此利用简单测量平台采集地面照片就可以获取高质量的3维地形数据。与Li DAR技术相比,大大降低了获取高精度数据的成本,使得高精度3维地形数据的使用大众化。文中介绍了Sf M技术的基本原理和流程,展示了Sf M技术获取高精度3维地形数据的简单而有效的特性,特别适合于植被稀少的区域。文中利用近千米高空拍摄的、具有约70%重叠度的一套随Li DAR飞行采集的数字航空照片生成具有真彩色的高密度Sf M点云数据,点密度高达25.5个/m2,可生成分辨率0.2m的DEM(数字高程模型)。对比相同区域的LiDAR点云数据,统计分析表明58.3%的Li DAR数据与Sf M数据的垂直偏差<0.1m,88.3%的Li DAR数据的垂直偏差<0.2m;而且发现不同地貌的Sf M数据精度存在差异,平缓地形的Sf M数据精度高于陡峭地形的Sf M数据精度。文中还介绍了以氦气球作为拍摄平台的Sf M测量系统,可以快捷地获取高精度的3D地形数据和正射影像,比目前常用的差分GPS测量具有更高的效率和数据精度。

The sensing capability of a Tb^(3+)-metal-organic framework, based on its photoluminescence, was used for detection of methanol in ethanol fuel. It was synthesized using terbium and trimesic acid as a metal ion center and ligand, respectively. Powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscopy were employed to characterize the synthesized MOF-76 structural features. According to the results, MOF-76 was successfully obtained with minor synthetic modification and its activated form(named TbTMA) was tested as a sensor for methanol. Tb^(3+) luminescence intensity increases as the methanol concentration in ethanol fuel also increases and the water content does not affect this response. Our findings indicate TbTMA as an appropriate sensor for evaluating ethanol fuel adulteration by methanol addition above the allowed limit.

The definition of Collatz Operator, the mathematical avatar of the Collatz Algorithm, permits the transformation of the Collatz conjecture, which is delineated over the whole natural number set, into an equivalent inference restricted to the odd prime number set only. Based on this redefinition, one can describe an empirical-heuristic proof of the Collatz conjecture.

Dear Editor, Polyorchidism refers to the presence of more than two testicles. Blasius described it for the first time in 1670 as an incidental finding in an autopsy, while Lane was the one who performed the first histological description of a supernumerary testis in 1895.1,2 Before imaging diagnosis techniques, this condition could only be verified under surgical exploration. Nowadays, current imaging techniques have increased the number of diagnosis of this anatomical variation. On the other hand, there is still a certain group of physicians who use histological analysis as the unioue way to diagnosis.

Poly-histidine peptides such as H6(HHHHHH)are used in protein biotechnologies as purification tags,protein-assembling agents and endosomal-escape *** pleiotropic properties of such peptides make them appealing to design protein-based smart materials or nanoparticles for imaging or drug delivery to be produced in form of recombinant ***,the clinical applicability of H6-tagged proteins is restricted by the potential immunogenicity of these *** this study,we have explored several humanized histidine-rich peptides in tumor-targeted modular proteins,which can specifically bind and be internalized by the target cells through the tumoral marker *** were particularly interested in exploring how protein purification,self-assembling and endosomal escape perform in proteins containing the variant histidine-rich *** the tested candidates,the peptide H5 E(HEHEHEHEH)is promising as a good promoter of endosomal escape of the associated fulllength protein upon endosomal *** numerical modelling of cell penetration and endosomal escape of the tested proteins has revealed a negative relationship between the amount of protein internalized into target cells and the efficiency of cytoplasmic *** fact demonstrates that the His-mediated,proton sponge-based endosomal escape saturates at moderate amounts of internalized protein,a fact that might be critical for the design of protein materials for cytosolic molecular delivery.
