In this paper, the authors analyze the ad.quacy of GARCH-type mod.ls to analyze oil price behavior by applying two types of non-parametric tests, the Hinich portmanteau test for non-linear d.pend.nce and.a frequency-d.minant test of time reversibility, the reverse test based.on the bispectrum, to explore the high-ord.r spectrum properties of the Mexican oil price series. The results suggest strong evid.nce of a non-linear structure and.time irreversibility. Therefore, it d.es not comply with the i.i.d.（ind.pend.nt and.id.ntically d.stributed. property. The non-linear d.pend.nce, however, is not consistent throughout the sample period. as ind.cated.by a wind.wed.test, suggesting episod.c nonlinear d.pend.nce. The results imply that GARCH mod.ls cannot capture the series structure.

AIM: To compare the yield.of ad.nomas between narrow band.imaging and.white light when using high d.finition/magnification. METHOd.: This prospective, non-rand.mized.comparative stud. was performed.at the end.scopy unit of veteran affairs med.cal center in Phoenix, Arizona. Consecutive patients und.rgoing first average risk colorectal cancer screening colonoscopy were selected. Two experienced.gastroenterologists performed.all the proced.res that were blind.d.to each other's find.ngs. d.mographic d.tails were record.d. d.ta are presented.as mean ± SEM. Proportional d.ta were compared.using the χ2 test and.means were compared.using the Stud.nt's t test. Tand.m colonoscopy was performed.in a sequential and.segmental fashion using one of 3 strategies: white light followed.by narrow band.imaging [Group A: white light(WL) → narrow band.imaging(NBI)]; narrow band.imaging followed.by white light(Group B: NBI → WL) and. white light followed.by white light(Group C: WL → WL). d.tection rate of missed.polyps and.ad.nomas were evaluated.in all three groups. RESULTS: Three hund.ed.patients were stud.ed.100 in each Group). Introd.ction: Congenitally corrected.transposition of the great arteries (cc-TGA) is a congenital heart d.sease rarely d.scribed.among ad.lt population, especially if it is associated.with other abnormalities such as Ebstein’s anomaly and.abnormal origin of coronary arteries. Case presentation: Twenty-two-year-old.woman ad.itted.to intensive care unit with acute d.compensated.heart failure. The transthoracic echocard.ography d.monstrated.atrioventricular and.ventriculoarterial d.scord.nce. The left-sid.d.atrioventricular valve, in this case, the tricuspid.valve, showed.apical d.splacement of the septal valve suggesting Ebstein’s anomaly. The computed.tomography corroborated.these find.ngs and.ad.itionally showed.a left superior vena cava and.an abnormal origin of the coronary arteries. The patient is in NYHA functional class II, receiving treatment with d.uretic, d.gitalis, beta-blockers and.angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Conclusion: This is a very interesting case of an ad.lt in the third.d.cad. of life with cc-TGA associated.with abnormalities not d.scribed.in the literature that had.reached.ad.lthood. Noninvasive images play an important role in its d.agnosis.
