Enhancing the energy efficiency for prolonging the network life time in multi-conditional multi-sensor based wireless sensor network

A wireless sensor network is one of the networks that is highly demanding by various real-timenetworking applications nowadays. A huge amount of sensor nodes is deployed in the networkrandomly and distributed. Most of the applications using wireless sensor network (WSN) aresurveillance monitoring applications like a forest, home, healthcare, environment, and remotemonitoring systems. Based on the application usage, the type of sensor, a number of sensornodes are deployed in such a manner where the sensors can be used effectively. But the sensornodes are restricted in the battery and sensing region. Thus, the battery of the sensor nodesis decreased based on the nodes’ function. The energy level of the sensor nodes highly affectsthe network lifetime. Improving the energy efficiency in WSN is one of the most important challengingtasks. Most of the earlier research works have proposed various methods, techniques,and routing protocols, but they are application dependent and as a common method. So, thispaper is motivated to propose a Multi-Conditional Network Analysis (MCNA) framework for savingthe energy level of the sensor nodes by reducing energy consumption. TheMCNAframeworkinvolves two different clustering processes with cluster head selection, choosing the best nodesbased on the signal strength, and the best route for data transmission. The data transmissionis done by cluster based on source-destination based. The simulation results proved that theproposed MCNA framework outperforms the other existing methods.

In this paper,we prove fixed point theorem for weakly contractive mappings using locally T-transitivity of binary relation and presenting an analogous version of Harjani and Sadarangani theorem involving more general relation theoretic metrical *** fixed point results under universal relation reduces to Harjani and Sadarangani[Nonlinear Anal.,71(2009),3403-3410]fixed point *** this way we also generalize some of the recent fixed point theorems for weak contraction in the existing literature.

Objective Toxic metal ions have been implicated in the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide (NO). Metallothionines (MT) and plant flavonoids have been reported in the intervention against oxidative damage. We investigated the effect of zinc induced MT and green tea polyphenol (GTP) in reducing the oxidative responses induced by nickel and platinum. Methods Zinc (10 mg/kg b. wt, sc) was administered to rats twice at a gap of 24hrs and GTP (10 mg/100 mL in drinking water) was fed ad libitum for 8 days. Nickel chloride (150 umol/***, ip) and cisplatin (50 mmol/kg ***, sc) was administered to rats 24 h after Zn or GTP pre-treatment. Animals of all the groups were sacrificed 16 hrs after treatment and biochemical markers for toxicity were monitored. Results Zinc or GTP pre-treatment caused significant protection against nickel or cisplatin enhanced mortality in rats, and reduction in lipid peroxidation and NO. Conclusion It is proposed that inhibition of ROS and NO by GTP and zinc may prove useful as a selective pharmacological agent in the amelioration of metal toxicity.

Assessment of Recent Tectonic Activity along the Yamuna Basin, Garhwal Region, NW-Himalaya, India: Based on Morphotectonic Analysis

Decoupling between climate and tectonics, transform the elevation of earth surface regionally by denudation and displacement of land. To extract the tectonic footprints on morphology of landform, geormophometry is widely accepted tool due to visible responses in Drainage architecture to an intense tectonic environment. The present morphology of Yamuna basin in the Garhwal Himalaya, India is a result of continuing crustal deformation;erosion and deposition in the area. The drainage system and geomorphic expression of topography have been significantly influenced by active tectonics in this basin. In present study, for numerical modelling to detect the influence of tectonic signals on landform, we used morphotectonic parameters, to gradient index (SL), valley floor height to width ratio (Vf), asymmetry factor (Af), basin shape index (BS) and hypsometric integral (HI), extracted from SRTM DEM with resolution of 30 m. All these morphotectonic parameters are integrated to produce an index of relative active tectonics (IRAT). The Yamuna basin is classified into three groups based on IRAT, very high (2.25) based on the degree of tectonic activity. Result shows approx. 56% of Yamuna basin experience high tectonic activity. This along strike deformation pattern pronouncedly emulates subsurface geometry based tectonic model.

研究目的:在相同的反复张力下,研究V形切口圆条表面裂纹的疲劳扩展规律。研究方法:1.构建V形切口圆条模型(图1),基于线性二次元将模型表面离散成一个个网格点(图2);2.以AZ-6A-T5镁合金为例,利用J积分计算应力强度因数,利用NASGRO裂纹增长率模拟裂纹的疲劳扩展;3.通过研究不同的裂纹纵横比和对应的应力强度因数之间的相关性来研究裂纹的扩展。重要结论:1.在裂纹扩展时裂纹纵横比的初始值对断裂形状的发展有重要影响;2.裂纹纵横比对疲劳负荷寿命的作用比缺口半径更加明显;3.当裂纹前缘演变成一条直线形时可观察到不稳定的裂纹扩展;4.裂纹深度一定时,断裂纵横比越小,疲劳负荷寿命越短;5.当裂纹纵横比为0.6–0.7时,出现了不稳定的裂纹扩展。

Hepatoprotection: A Hallmark of <i>Citrullus colocynthis</i>L. against Paracetamol Induced Hepatotoxicity in Swiss Albino Rats

Objective: To demonstrate the in-vivo hepatoprotective effect of the ethanolic extracts of Citrullus colocynthis (Linn.) against paracetamol induced hepatotoxicity in albino rats. Animal Model: Swiss Albino rats of either sex were used, divided into six groups with six in each group. Group 1-Normal control: The animals were maintained under normal control, which were given distilled water only. Group 2-Induction of hepatotoxicity: The animals received paracetamol 500 mg/kg b.w. (p.o) every 72 h for 10 Days. Groups 3 to 5: Animals received ethanolic extract of Citrullus colocynthis L. at 50, 100 & 200 mg/kg bw/day for 7 days (p.o). Group 6: The animals were treated with Silymarin (100 mg/kg p.o) which served as standard. Groups 3 to 6 were intoxicated with paracetamol (500 mg/kg bw) 1 h before the administration of extract or Silymarin for 10 days. Histopathological findings, different hepatic biochemical parameters viz. AST, ALT, ALP, Total bilirubin, Total cholesterol, Triglycerides, & the body weight before & after treatment were evaluated to investigate the hepatoprotective activity. Results: Paracetamol induced a significant rise in AST, ALT, ALP, Total Bilirubin, Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides. Administration of 200 mg/kg bw of ethanolic extract of Citrullus colocynthis L. effectively reduced these pathological damages caused by paracetamol intoxication. In addition to serum parameters treatment of 200 mg/kg bw of ethanolic extract of Citrulus colocynthis L. also promotes the body weight in albino rats as shown in Figure 6 respectively. Histopathological changes of the liver samples were compared with the normal control as shown in Figures 2-5 respectively. Conclusion: From our results we may infer that the mode of action of 90% ethanolic extract of Citrullus colocynthis L. (200 mg/kg bw) in affording the in-vivo hepatoprotective activity against paracetamol may be due to the cell membrane stabilization, hepatic cell regeneration & normalizing the serum param

Single CDBA Based Voltage Mode Bistable Multivibrator and Its Applications

In this paper, current differencing buffered amplifier (CDBA) based bistable multivibrators are introduced. Each presented circuit is constructed using single CDBA as the basic active building block and three resistors. Two applications namely an astable and a monostable multivibrator are also realized to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed bistable multivibrators. The presented circuits are simulated using PSPICE from Cadence Orcad16.2 to verify their functionality. Simulation results agree well with the theoretical analysis.

Investigation of two coronal mass ejections from circular ribbon source region:Origin,Sun-Earth propagation and Geoeffectiveness

In this article,we compare the properties of two coronal mass ejections(CMEs)that show similar source region characteristics but different evolutionary behaviors in the later *** discuss the two events in terms of their near-Sun characteristics,interplanetary evolution and *** carefully analyzed the initiation and propagation parameters of these events to establish the precise CMEinterplanetary CME(ICME)connection and their near-Earth *** first event is associated with poor geomagnetic storm disturbance index(Dst≈-20 n T)while the second event is associated with an intense geomagnetic storm of DST≈-119 n *** configuration of the sunspots in the active regions and their evolution are observed by Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager(HMI).For source region imaging,we rely on data obtained from Atmospheric Imaging Assembly(AIA)on board Solar Dynamics Observatory(SDO)and Hαfiltergrams from the Solar Tower Telescope at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences(ARIES).For both the CMEs,flux rope eruptions from the source region triggered flares of similar intensities(≈M1).At the solar source region of the eruptions,we observed a circular ribbon flare(CRF)for both cases,suggesting fan-spine magnetic configuration in the active region *** multi-channel SDO observations confirm that the eruptive flares and subsequent CMEs were intimately related to the filament *** the Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronograph(LASCO)field of view(FOV)the two CMEs propagated with linear speeds of 671 and 631 km s-1,*** CMEs were tracked up to the Earth by Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory(STEREO)*** find that the source region evolution of CMEs,guided by the large-scale coronal magnetic field configuration,along with near-Sun propagation characteristics,such as CME-CME interactions,played important roles in deciding the evolution of CMEs in the interplanetary medium and subsequently their geoeffec
