In this paper. we study the exponential synchr.nization of chaotic Lur.e systems with time-var.ing delays via sampled-data contr.l by using sector.nonlinear.ies. In or.er.to make full use of infor.ation about sampling inter.als and inter.al time-var.ing delays, new Lyapunov-Kr.sovskii functionals with tr.ple integr.l ter.s ar. intr.duced. Based on the convex combination technique, two kinds of synchr.nization cr.ter.a ar. der.ved in ter.s of linear.matr.x inequal- ities, which can be efficiently solved via standar. numer.cal softwar.. Finally, thr.e numer.cal examples ar. pr.vided to demonstr.te the less conser.atism and effectiveness of the pr.posed r.sults.

In this paper. the pr.blem of exponential synchr.nization of complex dynamical networ.s with Mar.ovian jumping par.meter. using sampled-data and Mode-dependent pr.babilistic time-var.ing coupling delays is investigated. The sam- pling per.od is assumed to be time-var.ing and bounded. The infor.ation of pr.bability distr.bution of the time-var.ing delay is consider.d and tr.nsfor.ed into par.meter.matr.ces of the tr.nsfer.ed complex dynamical networ. model. Based on the condition, the design method of the desir.d sampled data contr.ller.is pr.posed. By constr.cting a new Lyapunov functional with tr.ple integr.l ter.s, delay-distr.bution-dependent exponential synchr.nization cr.ter.a ar. der.ved in the for. of linear.matr.x inequalities. Finally, two numer.cal examples ar. given to illustr.te the effectiveness of the pr.posed methods.

Fuzzy cellular.neur.l networ.s （FCNNs） ar. special kinds of cellular.neur.l networ.s （CNNs）. Each cell in an FCNN contains fuzzy oper.ting abilities. The entir. networ. is gover.ed by cellular.computing laws. The design of FCNNs is based on fuzzy local r.les. In this paper. a linear.matr.x inequality （LMI） appr.ach for.synchr.nization contr.l of FCNNs with mixed delays is investigated. Mixed delays include discr.te time-var.ing delays and unbounded distr.buted delays. A dynamic contr.l scheme is pr.posed to achieve the synchr.nization between a dr.ve networ. and a r.sponse networ.. By constr.cting the Lyapunov-Kr.sovskii functional which contains a tr.ple-integr.l ter. and the fr.e-weighting matr.ces method an impr.ved delay-dependent stability cr.ter.on is der.ved in ter.s of LMIs. The contr.ller.can be easily obtained by solving the der.ved LMIs. A numer.cal example and its simulations ar. pr.sented to illustr.te the effectiveness of the pr.posed method.

In this paper. we study a fr.ctional-or.er.model with time-delay to descr.be the dynamics of Ebola vir.s infection with cytotoxic T-lymphocyte （CTL） r.sponse in vivo. The time- delay is intr.duced in the CTL r.sponse ter. to r.pr.sent time r.quir.d to stimulate the immune system. Based on fr.ctional Laplace tr.nsfor., some conditions on stability and Hopf bifur.ation ar. der.ved for.the model. The analysis shows that the fr.ctional- or.er.with time-delay can effectively enr.ch the dynamics and str.ngthen the stability condition of fr.ctional-or.er.infection model. Finally, the der.ved theor.tical r.sults ar. justified by some numer.cal simulations.

The r.toon cr.p occupies appr.ximately 40% of the total ar.a of sugar.ane cr.p in tr.pical India. The main r.ason for.the lower.aver.ge cane pr.ductivity is the yield decline in r.toon cr.ps (40 - 50 t/ha) despite the r.lease of the high yielding var.eties and advanced cane pr.duction technology. The physiological factor. associated with r.tooning per.or.ance and the var.ation in gr.wth and yield wer. studied in 11 sugar.ane var.eties in two cycles of one plant and two r.toon cr.ps each. The fir.t r.toon and second r.toon cr.p showed 17.0% and 28.1% r.duction in tiller.pr.duction and 15.5% and 15.7% r.duction in NMC, r.spectively, over.plant cr.p. The differ.nces in gr.wth par.meter. between the plant and r.toon cr.ps at the for.ative phase wer. lesser.than that of gr.nd gr.wth and matur.ty phases. Var.eties Co 86032, Co 97008, Co 95020 Co 99004 and Co 2000-10 showed better.physiological efficiency in ter.s of plant height, shoot population, leaf size, TDMP, par.itioning efficiency, chlor.phyll content and nitr.te r.ductase activity and significantly higher.yield components such as NMC, SCW, cane length, inter.odal length as well as cane yield compar.d to other.var.eties. The higher.r.duction in r.toon yield in Co 99008, Co 94012, Co 8021 and Co 97009 (>35.00% r.duction) was due to higher.r.duction in tiller.pr.duction associated with stunted plant gr.wth and r.ot system, r.ducetion in individual leaf size and LAI, TDMP, total chlor.phyll content, NMC, inter.odal length and SCW. The r.sults obtained indicated that the plant height, TDMP, stem par.itioning, leaf size, total chlor.phyll content, SCW, cane length and cane gir.h wer. highly associated with yield of fir.t and second r.toon cr.ps than that of plant cr.p. Ther.for. the differ.nce in the association between physiological par.meter. with yield of plant and r.toon cr.ps ther.for. decides the r.tooning potential of the cr.p.
