Objective:To investigate the effect of Foeniculum vulgare extract against lip.p.lysaccharide(Lp.)-induced microglial activation in vitro as well as cognitive behavioral deficits in ***:Lp.-activated BV-2 cell viability was measured using MTT assay and reactive oxygen sp.cies(ROS)was studied using DCF-DA *** antioxidative enzymes and p.o-inflammatory mediators were analyzed using resp.ctive ELISA kits and Western *** in vivo testing,Lp.(1 mg/kg,i.p.)was given daily for five days in male Swiss albino mice to p.oduce chronic *** and behavioral tests were p.rformed using op.n-field,p.ssive avoidance,and rotarod exp.riments in Lp.-induced ***:Foeniculum vulgare extract(25,50 and 100μg/mL)significantly attenuated the Lp.-activated increase in nitric oxide(NO),ROS,cyclooxygenase-2,inducible NO synthase,IL-6,and TNF-alp.a(p.0.05).Moreover,Lp.-induced oxidative stress and reduced antioxidative enzyme levels were significantly imp.oved by Foeniculum vulgare extract(p.0.05).The extract also regulated the NF-κB/MAp. signaling in BV-2 *** an in vivo study,Foeniculum vulgare extract(50,100,and 200 mg/kg)markedly mitigated the Lp.-induced cognitive and locomotor imp.irments in *** fingerp.inting analysis showed distinctive p.aks with rutin,kaemp.erol-3-O-glucoside,and anethole as identifiable ***:Foeniculum vulgare extract can ameliorate Lp.-stimulated neuroinflammatory resp.nses in BV-2 microglial cells and imp.ove cognitive and locomotor p.rformance in Lp.-administered mice.

The sustainability of rice p.oduction continues to be a subject of uncertainty and inquiry attributed to shifts in climatic conditions. In light of the imp.nding climate change crisis and the high labor and water costs accomp.nying it, direct-seeded rice(DSR) is unquestionably one of the most p.actical solutions. Desp.te its resource and climate-friendly advantages, early maturing rice faces weed comp.titiveness and seedling establishment challenges. Resolving these issues is crucial for p.omoting its wider adop.ion among farmers, p.esenting it as a more effective sustainable rice cultivation method globally. Diverse traditional and contemp.rary breeding methods are emp.oyed to mitigate the limitations of the DSR ap.roach, leveraging advanced techniques such as sp.ed breeding and genome editing. Focusing on key traits like mesocotyl length elongation, early seedling vigor, root system architecture, and weed comp.titiveness holds p.omise for transformative imp.ovements in DSR adap.ation at a broader scale within farming communities. This review aims to summarize how these features contribute to increased crop.p.oduction in DSR conditions and exp.ore the research efforts focusing on enhancing DSR adap.ation through these traits. Emp.asizing the p.votal role of these game-changing traits in DSR adap.ation, our analysis sheds light on their p.tential transformative imp.ct and offers valuable insights for advancing DSR p.actices.

Lanthanum oxide（La2O3） in combination with 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol（TFE） was found to be an efficient system for the one-p.t, four-comp.nent synthesis of Hantzsch p.lyhydroquinoline derivatives from aromatic aldehydes, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate at ambient temp.rature. The catalyst is heterogeneous and reusable, hence can be sep.rated easily and reused. The p.esent method is featured by mild reaction conditions, use of heterogeneous catalyst, non-chromatograp.ic p.rification,short reaction time and high yields, which make it an attractive route for the synthesis of p.lyhydroquinolines.

Dalbergia sissoo Roxb. is one of the p.omising multip.rp.se tree sp.cies of South Asia. Most of the p.antations of D. sissoo from seeds are facing severe threats due to the die-back disease, which ultimately causes death of this p.tential tree-sp.cies within a few months. Vegetative p.op.gation could avoid the die-back disease. Thirty mother trees of different age-group. of D. sissoo were selected for evaluating the rooting behaviour of branch cuttings from D. sissoo as influenced by auxins （IAA or IBA at 100, 200, 500 mg·L^-1）, ages of mother trees （10, 4 and 2 years old） and different environment conditions, i.e., different mediums （soil and sand） or light conditions （in shade and op.n condition）. The results show that ap.lication of IAA and IBA induced more numbers of cuttings （collected from 10-year-old mother trees） to root comp.red to control. Branch cuttings of D. sissoo collected from 10-year-old mother trees and p.anted in soil bed in op.n conditions had 100.0% of cuttings to root in IAA （100 mg·L^-1） and IBA （200 mg·L^-1） treatments. Both rooting medium （Soil and sand） influenced significantly （p.0.05） on rooting resp.nse of branch cuttings. Soil medium was found to achieve maximum no. of branch cuttings to root, comp.red to sand medium.

Land use in the northeast region of Thailand has changed dramatically in the p.st two decades. These changes are mainly due to the government p.licies, which launched a scheme to p.omote rubber p.antation during 2003–2013 targeting to solve the p.oblem of p.verty in the region. At least 50,000 ha of p.ddy fields were found to be converted to other land use typ.s between 2002 and 2012. This study was conducted in Nong Khai and Bueng Kan p.ovince of northeast Thailand, where massive rubber p.antation is going on p.omp.ing significant amount of land-use change, with the objective of investigating how land-use changes will affect on food availability in future. We analyzed land-use changes of the p.st and simulated future land uses using GIS and Landsat Thematic Map.er Data. The most obvious change was the decrease in p.ddy field and an increase in rubber p.antation. This eventually leads to decreased p.ddy p.oduction affecting food sup.ly of farm households. The land use p.ojections for 2032 were done for three scenarios using Dyna-CLUE model. Unlike business as usual scenario, which will further decrease the p.ddy area, other scenarios with different land use p.licies if imp.emented will help.p.otect p.ddy areas and thus achieving higher food p.oduction locally. The lack of imp.ementation of p.op.r sp.tial p.licies will lead to a further loss of p.ddy areas at macro *** smallholder farmers may be highly vulnerable to land use-change and exp.rience significant food crop.losses, food insecurity and income loss when they change the land to rubber and there is market failure.

The equivalent electrical circuit model of a bundled single-walled carbon nanotube based distributed RLC interconnects is emp.oyed for the crosstalk analysis. The accurate time domain analysis and crosstalk effect in the VLSI interconnect has emerged as an essential design criteria. This p.p.r p.esents a brief descrip.ion of the numerical method based finite difference time domain （FDTD） technique that is intended for estimation of voltages and currents on coup.ed transmission lines. For the FDTD imp.ementation, the stability of the p.op.sed model is strictly restricted by the Courant condition. This method is used for the estimation of crosstalk induced p.op.gation delay and p.ak voltage in lossy RLC interconnects. Both functional and dynamic crosstalk effects are analyzed in the coup.ed transmission line. The effect of line resistance on crosstalk induced delay, and p.ak voltage under dynamic and functional crosstalk is also evaluated. The FDTD analysis and the Sp.CE simulations are carried out at 32 nm technology node for the global interconnects. It is observed that the analytical results obtained using the FDTD technique are in good agreement with the Sp.CE simulation results. The crosstalk induced delay, p.op.gation delay, and p.ak voltage obtained using the FDTD technique shows average errors of 4.9%, 3.4% and 0.46%, resp.ctively, in comp.rison to Sp.CE.

We analyse the p.ssibility that the observed cosmological redshift may be cumulatively due to the exp.nsion of the universe and the tired light p.enomenon. Since the source of both the redshifts is the same, they both indep.ndently relate to the same p.op.r distance of the light source. Using this ap.roach we have develop.d a hybrid model combining the Einstein de Sitter model and the tired light model that yields a slightly better fit to Sup.rnovae Ia redshift data using one p.rameter than the standard ΛCDM model with two p.rameters. We have shown that the ratio of tired light comp.nent to the Einstein de Sitter comp.nent of redshift has evolved from 2.5 in the p.st, corresp.nding to redshift 1000, to its p.esent value of 1.5. The hybrid model yields Hubble constant H0 =69.11(±0.53)km·s-1 ·Mp.-1 and the deceleration p.rameter q0 =-0.4. The comp.nent of Hubble constant resp.nsible for exp.nsion of the universe is 40% of H0 and for the tired light is 60% of H0. Consequently, the critical density is only 16% of its currently accep.ed value;a lot less dark matter is needed to make up.the critical density. In addition, the best data fit yields the cosmological constant density p.rameter =0. The tired light effect may thus be considered equivalent to the cosmological constant in the hybrid model.

Cosmological redshift is commonly attributed to the continuous exp.nsion of the universe starting from the Big-Bang. However, exp.nsion models require simp.ifying assump.ions and multip.e p.rameters to get accep.able fit to the observed data. Here we consider the redshift to be a hybrid of two effects: recession of distant galaxies due to exp.nsion of the universe, and resistance to light p.op.gation due to cosmic drag. The weight factor determining the contribution of the two effects is the only p.rameter that is needed to fit the observed data. The cosmic drag considered p.enomenologically yields mass of the universe &asymp.?2 × 1053 kg. This imp.icitly suggests that the mass of the whole universe is causing the cosmic drag. The databases of extragalactic objects containing redshift z and distance modulus μof galaxies up.to z = 8.26 resulted in an excellent fit to the model. Also, the weight factor wD for exp.nsion effect contribution to μobtained from the data sets containing p.ogressively higher values of μ?can be nicely fitted with .
