The functionally graded cemented tungsten carbide (FGCC) is a suitable material choice for cutting tool applications due to balanced hardness and fracture *** presence of cobalt and CaF2 composition gradient in FGCC may enhance mechanical as well as antifriction ***,structural design of selflubricating FGCC was proposed using Power law composition gradient model and thermal residual stresses (TRSs) as a key ***,*** and *** model was adopted for estimation of TRS,and optimum composition gradient was identified at Power law exponent n =*** designed material displayed compressive and tensile TRS at surface and core respectively;subsequently fabricated by spark plasma sintering and characterized via scanning electron microscope (SEM),indentation *** agreement between experimental and analytical values of TRS demonstrated the effectiveness of intended design model in the composition optimization of self-lubricating *** work will be helpful in implementation of dry machining for clean and green manufacturing.

This work aims to present and explore thermal management techniques for the wire arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)of IN718 *** heat can be mitigated via air or water *** this study,the material was deposited under four different heat-input conditions with air or water *** air cooling,the layer is deposited in a normal atmospheric air environment,whereas with water cooling,the material is deposited inside a water tank by varying the water *** validate the air and water cooling thermal management techniques,IN718 single-pass and multilayer linear walls were deposited using the bidirectional gas metal arc welding based WAAM setup under four different heat input *** the deposition of single layers,the temperature profiles were recorded,and the geometric and microstructural features were *** multilayer wall structures,the mechanical properties(hardness,tensile strength,and elongation)were determined and assessed using the corresponding microstructural features explored through scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)*** microstructure observed through SEM analysis in the building direction was found to be nonhomogenous compared with that in the deposition ***,water cooling was found to govern bead characteristics,such as wall width and *** grain size and anisotropy of the mechanical properties also decreased in the water-cooled ***,water cooling is an economical and efficient method to mitigate excessive heat accumulation in WAAM-deposited IN718.

The colorful,nutrient-rich peels of citrus fruits have long been valued for their tangy flavors and aromatic *** oils are produced and stored in special secretory structures called oil glands,which are prevalent across citrus varieties(Knight et al.,2001).Oil glands serve as"reservoirs"for diverse metabolites such as terpenes and flavonoids that give citrus fruits their characteristic aroma(Mahato et al.,2019;Voo et al.,2012;Xian et al.,2022).Many of these compounds also act as chemical defenses against pest and pathogens(Fisher and Phillips,2008).

Pesticide usage alters plant growth,and development and disturbs native soil *** present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of Chlorpyrifos(CP-20%EC)on the growth and development of soybean(Glycine max),soil fertility,and soil *** conducted a pot experiment to assess the impact of different concentrations of chlorpyrifos;recommended dose(RD)and higher dose rates(2×and 4×RD).Chlorpyrifos application significantly altered the growth parameters in soybean(p<0.05).At higher concentrations(2×and 4×RD)shoot length(17.16±1.04;14.33±1.15,p<0.05),root length(3.40±0.36;2.66±0.28,p<0.050),leaf count(6.33±0.57;2.66±0.57;p<0.05)reduced significantly compared to RD and Control *** at these concentrations(2×and 4×RD),significant reduction in fresh shoot weight(0.86±0.008;0.66±0.002,p<0.05),dry shoot weight(0.14±0.001;0.13±0.003,p<0.05)and root fresh weight(0.13±0.001;0.09±0.003,p<0.05)and root dry weight(0.030±0.0005,0.037±0.003,p<0.05)was observed compared to the RD and control ***,a significant increase in root and shoot morphometric parameters was observed in RD compared to control(p<0.05).All the physio-chemical properties such as pH(8.51±0.82),moisture content(33.73±0.04),and electrical conductivity(3.44±0.03)were higher in CP-treated soils compared to ***,nutrient content such as nitrogen,carbon,and hydrogen were significantly reduced in treated soils compared to *** analysis showed higher concentrations of As,Cd,and Pb in CP-treated soil(8.7 mg/g,0.254 mg/g,and 16.477 mg/g,respectively)compared to untreated soil(8.09 mg/g,0.228 mg/g,and 15.25 mg/g,respectively).We also assessed soil metabolic activity and diversity using Community-level Physiological Profiling(CLPP).CP-treated soil exhibited significantly lesser microbial diversity,with lesser metabolic *** analysis revealed a shift in bacterial community composition,with Pseudomonadota and Bacteroidota dominating CP-treated s
