Hydrogen is the new age alternative energy source to combat energy demand and climate *** of hydrogen is vital for a nation’s *** of literature provide different methods for storing the produced hydrogen,and the rational selection of a viable method is crucial for promoting sustainability and green ***,hydrogen storage is associated with diverse sustainable and circular economy(SCE)*** a result,the authors consider the situation a multi-criteria decision-making(MCDM)*** infer that previous models for hydrogen storage method(HSM)selection(i)do not consider preferences in the natural language form;(ii)weights of experts are not methodically determined;(iii)hesitation of experts during criteria weight assessment is not effectively explored;and(iv)three-stage solution of a suitable selection of HSM is *** by these gaps,in this paper,authors put forward a new integrated framework,which considers double hierarchy linguistic information for rating,criteria importance through inter-criteria correlation(CRITIC)for expert weight calculation,evidence-based Bayesian method for criteria weight estimation,and combined compromise solution(CoCoSo)for ranking *** applicability of the developed framework is testified by using a case example of HSM selection in *** and comparative analysis reveal the merits and limitations of the developed framework.

Mid-infrared quasi-BIC resonances with sub-wavelength slot mode profiles in germanium-based coupled guided-mode resonance structures

We experimentally demonstrate a novel quasi-bound state in the continuum(BIC) resonance in the mid-infrared wavelength region with the resonant electric field confined as a slot mode within a low-refractive-index medium sandwiched between high-index *** structures studied here comprise coupled amorphous germanium guided-mode resonance(GMR) structures with a top one-dimensional grating layer and bottom uniform layer separated by a low-index silicon nitride *** slot-mode profile within the silicon nitride layer with mode field confinement >30% is achieved as a solution to the electromagnetic wave propagation through the coupled GMR structure with the dominant field component being perpendicular to the *** quasi-BIC resonance in symmetric 1D grating structures can be observed even at normal incidence when considering a realistic excitation beam with finite angular *** measured transmission peak is found to redshift(remain almost unchanged)under classical(full-conical) mounting *** highest quality factor of ~400 is experimentally extracted at normal incidence under a classical mounting condition with a resonance peak at 3.41 μm *** slot-mode GMR structures with appropriately chosen low-index intermediate layers can find applications in resonantly enhanced sensing and active photonic devices.

In the discipline of Music Information Retrieval(MIR),categorizing musicﬁles according to their genre is a difﬁcult *** genre classiﬁca-tion is an important multimedia research domain for classiﬁcation of music *** the proposed method music genre classiﬁcation using features obtained from audio data is *** classiﬁcation is done using features extracted from the audio data of popular online repository namely GTZAN,ISMIR 2004 and Latin Music Dataset(LMD).The features highlight the differences between different musical *** the proposed method,feature selection is per-formed using an African Buffalo Optimization(ABO),and the resulting features are employed to classify the audio using Back Propagation Neural Networks(BPNN),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Naïve Bayes,decision tree and kNN classiﬁ*** evaluation reveals that,ABO based feature selection strategy achieves an average accuracy of 82%with mean square error(MSE)of 0.003 when used with neural network classiﬁer.

Electron enregy loss spectroscopy (EELS) and energy filtering transmission electron microscopy (EFTEM) investigation on 2.25Cr-lMo steel was carried out to understand the nature of evolution of secondary carbides. The filtered images obtained from two different ageing treatments indicate that the steel evolves to a more stable carbide namely M23C6 in comparison to M2C. Microchemical information was generated from EELS spectra. Suitable choice for estimating the microchemical state was discussed. To evaluate the behaviour of ageing an elemental ratio of Fe to Cr is employed.

信息安全在企业信息系统建设中越来越重要,如何评价信息安全技术成为当前的一个研究课题.文中基于博弈论,对由防火墙、入侵检测系统和容忍入侵技术构成的三层安全体系结构进行了分析,提出了对信息安全技术进行评价的模型.在对入侵检测系统分析评价的基础上,重点分析了防火墙、入侵检测与容忍入侵的相互影响和关系.研究表明,IDS的检测率、误报率与防火墙的性能有密切关系,系统安全配置直接影响信息安全机制的性能和成本效益,容忍入侵机制取决于入侵的损失评估、系统的成本和防火墙与IDS的性能.信息安全机制的优化配置对于信息安全的效果具有重要影响.

Objective:To investigate the seasonal fluctuations of the proximate composition of the ascidians ***:The moisture content was estimated by drying 1 g of fresh tissue at a constant temperature at 105(?)for 24 *** loss of weight was taken as moisture *** total protein was estimated using the Biuret *** total carbohydrate in dried sample was estimated spectrophotometrically following the phenol-sulphuric acid *** lipid in the dried sample tissue was gravimetrically estimated following the chloroform-methanol mixture *** content was determined gravimetrically by incinerating 1 g dried sample in muffle furnace at about 550℃for 6 h and results are expressed in ***:It was found very difficult to compare the monthly variations,as all the ten species,exhibited wide fluctuations in their proximate *** the sake of convenience,average seasonal values were calculated by summing the monthly ***:The proximate composition of the 10 commonly available ascidians showed high nutritive value and hence these groups especially solitary ascidians can be recommended for human consumption in terms of pickles,soup,curry and others after ensuring the safety of consumers.

Experimental Investigation of the Decay from A Ship’s Propeller

In the present study, an experimental investigation of the decay of the maximum velocity and its turbulent characteristics behind a ship propeller, in ＂bollard pull＂ condition （zero speed of advance）, is reported. Velocity measurements were performed in laboratory by use of a Laser Doppler Anemometry （LDA） measurement system. Earlier researchers described that the maximum axial velocity is constant at the initial stage of a ship＇s propeller jet （Fuehrer and Romisch, 1977; Blaauw and van de Kaa, 1978; Berger et al, 1981; Verhey, 1983） as reported in a pure water jet （Albertson et al., 1950; Lee et al., 2002; Dai, 2005）, but a number of researchers disagreed with the constant velocity assumption. The present study found that the maximum axial velocity decays in the zone of flow establishment and the zone of established flow with different rates. The investigation provides an insight into the decays of both the maximum velocity and the maximum turbulent fluctuation in axial, tangential and radial components and the decay of the maximum turbulent kinetic energy. Empirical equations are proposed to allow coastal engineers to estimate the jet characteristics from a ship＇s propeller.

Combined heat and power economic dispatch problem using the invasive weed optimization algorithm

Cogeneration units which produce both heat and electric power are found in many process industries. These industries also consume heat directly in addition to electricity. The cogeneration units operate only within a feasible zone. Each point within the feasible zone consists of a specific value of heat and electric power. These units are used along with other units which produce either heat or power exclusively. Hence the economic dispatch problem for these plants optimizing the fuel cost is quite complex and several classical and meta-heuristic algo- rithms have been proposed earlier. This paper applies the invasive weed optimization algorithm which is inspired by the ecological process of weed colonization and distribu- tion. The results obtained have been compared with those obtained by other methods earlier and showed a marked improvement over earlier ones.

Hence, the economic dispatch problem for these plants to optimize the fuel cost is quite complex and several classical and meta-heuristic algo- rithms have been proposed earlier. This paper applies the firefly algorithm, which is inspired by the behavior of fireflies which attract each other based on their luminosity. The results obtained have been compared with those obtained by other methods earlier and showed a marked improvement over the earlier methods.

Internal Flow Simulation of High-Performance Solid Rockets using a k-ω Turbulence Model

For technological reasons many high-performance solid rocket motors are made from segmented propellant grains with non-uniform port geometry. In this paper parametric studies have been carried out to examine the geometric dependence of transient flow features in solid rockets with non-uniform ports. Numerical computations have been carried out in an inert simulator of solid propellant rocket motor with the aid of a standard k-ω turbulence model. It was seen that the damping of the temperature fluctuation is faster in solid rocket with convergent port than with divergent port geometry. We inferred that the damping of the flow fluctuations using the port geometry is a meaningful objective for the suppression and control of the instability and/or pressure/thrust oscillations during the starting transient of solid rockets.
