The.aim of the.pre.e.t study was to e.aluate.the.applicability of maximal photoche.ical e.ficie.cy of photosyste. II (Fv/Fm) as an e.rly e.timate.of P. radiata micrografts viability coming from diffe.e.t position (basal vs. apical) in the.orte.s. We.hypothe.ize.that Fv/Fm variation is a good indicator of micrograft’s viability and phe.ological stage.during micrograft de.e.opme.t. The.micrografts we.e.e.tablishe. in QL me.ium supple.e.te. whit 0.1 mg·L-1 IBA and 1 mg·L-1 BAP and culture. at 25°C ± 2°C and 80 μmol photons m-2s-1 of photosynthe.ic active.radiation by 16 h pe. day. During the.e.tablishme.t and consolidation phase. we.found significant diffe.e.ce. in Fv/Fm with re.pe.t to time.and buds positions prove.ie.ce. During e.tablishme.t, basal shoot tips have.lowe. Fv/Fm than apical shoot tips, which agre.s with the.lowe.t viability (35%). Howe.e., during the.consolidation phase. the.tre.d change. and basal shoot tips pre.e.te. highe. Fv/Fm than apical shoot tips and showe. an incre.se.in e.R and NPQ, with re.pe.t to apical shoots and orte.. Although the.me.sure.e.t of fluore.ce.ce.parame.e.s implie. the.inse.tion of the.fluorome.e. sonde.in vitro, this implie. ase.tic conside.ations, but always conve.e. a contamination risk. We.conclude.that fluore.ce.ce.(Fv/Fm, e.R, NPQ) can be.indicators of the.micrograft’s de.e.opme.t according to the.shoot tips position in the.orte. and can be.use.ul e.rly-indicators of the.scions’ physiological condition during micrograft transition from e.tablishme.t to consolidation.

Two diffe.e.t mode.s of the.Titan Coloplast inflatable.pe.ile.prosthe.is we.e.analyze. using a 3D scanne.. The.first was the.standard mode. and the.se.ond was a ne.e. mode. with a rounde. silicone.tip. Two cadave.ic phalluse. we.e.harve.te. using Smooth-Cast 300Q polyure.hane.molding. The.molds we.e.e.cise. and scanne. along side.the.pe.ile.prosthe.is. 3D scans we.e.comple.e. and analyze. using Le.os Me.h software. and GOM Inspe.t software. The.3D scans de.onstrate. the.me.n human corporal radii 2 mm from the.distal tip to be.36.51 mm （36.01-37.0 mm）, which is an obtuse.angle. The.standard Titan pe.ile.prosthe.is sphe.ical radius at the.same.le.e. was 202.52 mm, while.the.ne. silicone.tip prosthe.is had a radius of 139.33 mm. 3D mapping furthe. de.onstrate. the.traje.tory of the.cave.nosa appe.re. curviline.r and the.distal e.ds appe.re. blunt. The.use.of cadave.ic cave.nosal molds in combination with the.3D scanne. allowe. us to accurate.y image.the.corpus cave.nosum for the.first time. Our findings sugge.t that anatomically accurate.corporal tips appe.r to be.re.ative.y blunt and that the.ne. Titan silicone.tip pe.ile.prosthe.is more.close.y re.e.ble. the.human corporal tip.
