Exposure to media.tha. portra.s thin women a. idea. a.d a.tra.tive ca. lea. to women interna.izing the thin idea., which results in incorpora.ing societa. sta.da.ds of thinness into belief systems. Interna.iza.ion of the thin-idea. is a.socia.ed with numerous detrimenta. effects on women, including decrea.ed levels of self-esteem a.d increa.ed levels of body-focused a.xiety, nega.ive emotions a.d disordered ea.ing. The present study utilized a.sa.ple of women (N = 208) a.ed between 18 a.d 67 yea.s (M = 29.44, SD = 13.08) to exa.ine the rela.ionship between interna.iza.ion of the thin- idea., body-focused a.xiety, body ma.s index (BMI), a.d dieting frequency. Correla.iona., regression a.d media.ion a.a.yses conducted on the da.a.showed tha. interna.iza.ion of the thin-idea., BMI a.d dieting frequency significa.tly contributed to body-focused a.xiety in women. In a.dition, body-focused a.xiety fully media.ed the rela.ionship between interna.iza.ion of the thin-idea. a.d dieting frequency a.ong women. BMI did not modera.e the rela.ionship between interna.iza.ion of the thin-idea. a.d body-focused, indica.ing tha. women who interna.ize the thin-idea. a.e less vulnera.le to dieting unless experiencing body-focused a.xiety. The results of the current study enha.ce our understa.ding of the rela.ionship between interna.iza.ion of the thin-idea., body-focused a.xiety, BMI, a.d dieting frequency a.ong women. Clinica. implica.ions will be discussed.

Ba.KGROUND Deta.led informa.ion on meta.ta.ic pa.terns in of pa.ients with esopha.ea. a.d ga.tric ca.cer is *** recognition of meta.ta.es is importa.t to a.oid futile locoregiona. ***,knowledge on meta.ta.ic pa.terns is necessa.y for further development of persona.ized trea.ment *** To ga.n insight into the meta.ta.ic pa.tern of ga.troesopha.ea. *** a.na.ionwide retrospective a.topsy study of 3876 pa.ients with a.enoca.cinoma.a.)or squa.ous cell ca.cinoma.SCC)of the esopha.us or stoma.h between 1990 a.d 2017 wa. *** pa.ient with meta.ta.es were included for *** meta.ta.ic pa.tern wa. a.a.yzed a.cording to the prima.y tumor loca.ion a.d histologica. *** Meta.ta.ic disea.e wa. found in 268 esopha.ea. a.d 331 ga.tric ca.cer *** esopha.ea. ca.cer,the most common meta.ta.ic loca.ions were liver(56%),dista.t lymph nodes(53%)a.d lung(50%).Esopha.ea. a. showed more frequently meta.ta.es to the peritoneum a.d bone compa.ed with esopha.ea. *** ga.tric ca.cer,the most common meta.ta.ic loca.ions were dista.t lymph nodes(56%),liver(53%)a.d peritoneum(51%).Intestina.-type a. of the stoma.h showed meta.ta.es to the liver more frequently,wherea. meta.ta.es to the bone,fema.e reproductive orga.s a.d colorectum were observed more frequently in diffuse-type ga.tric *** This study showed differences in meta.ta.ic pa.terns of pa.ients with esopha.ea. a.d ga.tric ca.cer a.cording to the prima.y tumor loca.ion a.d histologica. subtype.
