A SiO2-TiO2 template with ordered tubular mesochannels has been prepared by the sol-gel method. Au nanorods are deposited in the tubular mesochannels of the SiO2-TiO2 template, and the shape of Au is changed from nanorods to nanospheres by ultraviolet irradiation during thermal deposition. The photocatalytic activity of mesoporous SiO2-TiO2 with/without Au nanorods/nanospheres is evaluated. Deposition of Au in the mesoporous SiO2-TiO2 template enhances the photocatalysis of TiO2. Interestingly, the sample containing Au nanorods exhibits higher photocatalytic activity than that with Au nanospheres. Photocatalysis by exciting surface plasmon resonance is not detected in the composite samples regardless of the shape of the deposited Au nanoparticles.

The characteristic properties of shell element with similar shapes are used to generate a so-called super element for the analysis of the crack problems for cylindrical pressure vessels. The formulation is processed by matrix condensation without the involvement of special treatment. This method can deal with various singularity problems and it also presents excellent results to crack problems for cylindrical shell. Especially,the knowledge of the kind of singular order is not necessary in super element generation; it is very economical in terms of computer memory and programming. This method also exhibits versatility to solve the problem of kinked crack at cylindrical shell.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the sternocleidomastoid and the descending portion of the trapezius muscles in terms of electromyographic activity and pressure pain threshold in women with chronic cervical pain after acupuncture ***:Twenty-five women,aged 18-50 years[(31±3)years],with chronic neck and temporomandibular disorder participated in the *** electromyographic activity of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the descending portion of the trapezius muscle were recorded at rest,during shoulder elevation,(left and right)rotation of the neck and crucifix *** voluntary contraction was used to normalize the electromyographic activity *** points used for acupuncture were Jiache(ST 6),Xiaguan(ST 7),Quanliao(SI 18),Tinggong(SI 19),Yifeng(TE-17),fengchi(GB 20),renzhong(GV 26),Yangbai(GB-14),and points of the lower and upper limbs:Tai chong(LV 3),Zusanli(ST 36),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Kunlun(BL 60),He Gu(LI4)and Yanglingquan(GB 34).The treatment course was 10 sessions,30 min long per session,and twice a *** final electromyographic activity and pressure pain threshold data collection were performed 15 d after treatment ***:The normalized electromyographic activity and pressure pain threshold data were tabulated and submitted to statistical analysis using t-test(Pficant difference was observed during shoulder elevation for the left trapezius muscle,during neck rotation from the right side to the left,and pressure pain threshold for the trapezius and sternocleidomastoid muscles,bilaterally,after the acupuncture ***:The acupuncture treatment improved the neck muscles in terms of electromyographic activity and increased the tolerance to chronic pain in women.

开发由客观指标构成的人性评价标准是检验人性教育效果、设定系统性目标、改善内容和方法的必由之路。特别是此评价标准能够检验以儒学为基础的人性教育成效,除了能诊断教育效果,更能够实际推动教育课程的设计和编制。但目前关于儒学经典是否影响大学生人性变化的统计依据还远远不够。在大数据社会中,这成为论证《论语》教育必要性方面的不足。通过对成均馆大学2022年第二学期7门人性教育课程的142名修课学生的调查,可以发现,在15周的有限时间内修课学生的“人性分数”有所增加,证明了人性教育课程对人性变化有效。另外,推动知、仁、勇的价值尺度化,引导平均值的变化也是非常积极的结果。

BACKGrOUND Hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection is responsible for a chronic liver inflammation,which may cause end-stage liver disease and hepatocellular *** E(protein:ApoE,gene:APOE),a key player in cholesterol metabolism,is mainly synthesized in the liver and APOE polymorphisms may influence HCV-induced liver *** To determine whether APOE alleles affect outcomes in HCV-infected patients with liver cirrhosis following orthotopic liver transplantation(OLT).METHODS This was a cohort study in which 179 patients,both genders and aged 34-70 years,were included before or after(up to 10 years follow-up)*** injury severity was assessed using different criteria,including METAVIr and models for endstage liver *** polymorphisms were analyzed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain *** The APOE3 allele was the most common(67.3%).In inflammation severity of biopsies from 89 OLT explants and 2 patients in pre-transplant,the degree of severe inflammation(A3f4,0.0%)was significantly less frequent than in patients with minimal and moderate degree of inflammation(≤A2f4,16.2%)P=0.048,in patients carrying the APOE4 allele when compared to *** addition,a significant difference was also found(≤A2f4,64.4%vs A3f4,0.0%;P=0.043)and(A1f4,57.4%vs A3f4,0.0%;P=0.024)in APOE4 patients when compared to APOE3 *** fibrosis degree of the liver graft in 8 of 91 patients and the lack of the E4 allele was associated with more moderate fibrosis(f2)(P=0.006).CONCLUSION Our results suggest that the E4 allele protects against progression of liver fibrosis and degree of inflammation in HCV-infected patients.

This paper describes attitude dynamics properties of spinning,momentum-biased and zero-momentum solar sail *** model called“Generalized Sail Dynamics Model”(GSDM)is introduced,which can deal with general and practical sail configurations,such as arbitrary optical property distribution,shape and surface *** stability criteria and other key dynamical characteristics are derived and compared by compact analytical equations induced from the *** newly derived zero-momentum sail dynamics is compared with that of spinning and momentum-biased *** is shown that the spinning and momentum sails have an advantage in terms of dynamical stability whereas zero-momentum sails are only statically *** this special property,angular momentum-stabilized sails can realize a sun-pointing stable attitude with almost zero-fuel,which are discussed with actual space flight experience of the JAXA’s two interplanetary missions,IKArOS and Hayabusa2.

Electroformed diamond tools have been used for many years in grinding and cutting fields while electrodeposited diamond composite coatings have been widely studied due to their desirable hardness,wear and corrosion *** article reports the detrimental impact of diamond magnetism on the composites microstructure and gives *** differences between composites that,respectively,contained no-further-treated diamond,magnetism-strengthening treated diamond and magnetism weakening treated diamond were carefully *** is shown that diamond magnetization treatment drastically harms the composite microstructure(e.g.,roughening the coating surface,coarsening the matrix grain,and more seriously,reducing the mechanical retention of diamond grains in the matrix) while demagnetization treatment does the *** the observed facts could be explained by the electromagnetic interaction between magnetic fields produced by magnetic diamond grains and electric current(moving cations) during the electrodeposition process.

Benzene, toluene and xylenes levels in new and used vehicles of the same model

The aim of this work was to determine the level of benzene, toluene, o-xylene and m, p-xylene （BTX） in air samples collected from the cabins of new and used vehicles of the same model. Ten new vehicles were examined in order to check interior emission from materials used to equip the passenger compartment. In order to compare and define the impact of exhaust gases, air samples were also collected from two used cars, at different mileages （up to 20,000 kin）. All vehicles tested were of the same type. Samples were collected onto Carbograph 1TD sorbent, thermally desorbed and examined with the use of gas chromatography with flame ionisation and mass spectrometry detectors. All results obtained were referred to Polish and German requirements for indoor air quality （both in public buildings and in workspace environments）. Average benzene, toluene, o-xylene and m, p-xylene concentrations in new cars were determined at the level of 11.8 μg/m^3, 82.7 μg/m^3, 21.2 μg/m^3 and 89.5 μg/m^3, respectively. In the used cars, BTX concentration increased with increasing vehicle mileage. The most significant increase of BTX concentration was observed above 11,000 km mileage.

Photoluminescence and radioluminescence properties of (Gd8Ca2)(SiO4)6O2 crystals with different concentrations of Ce

(GdCa)(SiO)Oapatite crystals doped with different concentrations of Ce were synthesized by the floating Zone(fZ) method, and we have evaluated the photoluminescence(PL) and radio luminescence(rL) properties. In PL, an emission band appeared around 400 nm under excitation at 300 nm due to the5 d-4 f transitions of Ce3+. The PL decay curves were approximated by a second-order exponential decay function, and the derived decay time constants ranged around 20-25 ns and 40-480 ns. Similar emission was observed in rL, but the decay time constants were much longer than those in PL. The rL afterglow was the lowest in the 1.0% Ce-doped sample. The 1.0% and 2.0% Ce-doped samples showed a full-energy peak in the pulse height spectrum measured underAm 5.5 MeV α-ray irradiation, and the absolute scintillation light yields were estimated to be around 55 and 36 ph/5.5 MeV-a, respectively.
