Flexible ternary carbon black/Bi_(2)Te_(3) based alloy/polylactic acid(CB/BTBA/PLA)composites were fabricated by additive manufacturing and their thermoelectric properties were investigated from 300 K to 360 *** 300 K,as the mass ratios of BTBAs in the composites increased from 38.5% to 71.4%,both the electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient of the composites increased from 5.8 S/cm to 13.3 S/cm,and from 60.2 mV/K to 119.9 mV/K,respectively,and the thermal conductivity slightly increased from 0.15 W m^(-1)K^(-1) to 0.25 W m^(-1)K^(-1),as a result,the ZT value of the composites increased from 0.004 to *** the temperature increased from 300 K to 360 K,the electrical conductivity of all the composites slightly decreased,while the thermal conductivity slowly increased,and a highest ZT value of 0.024 was achieved for the composites with 71.4% BTBAs at 320 *** traditional sterolithography,fused deposition modeling,selective laser melting,etc.,this additive manufacturing process can directly print the solutions which contain inorganic fillers and polymer matrixes into almost any designed intricate geometries of thermoelectric composites,therefore this process has great potential to be used for fabrication of flexible polymer based thermoelectric composites and devices.

Theophylline(TP)is a very well established orally or intravenously delivered antiasthma drug with many beneficial *** study aims to improve asthma treatment by creating a dry powder inhalable(DPI)formulation of TP to be delivered directly to the lung,avoiding the side effects associated with conventional oral *** DPI TP formulation was investigated for its physico-chemical characteristics using scanning electron microscopy,laser diffraction,thermal analysis and dynamic vapour ***,aerosol performance was assessed using the Multi Stage Liquid Impinger(MSLI).In addition,a Calu-3 cell transport assay was conducted in vitro using a modified ACI to study the impact of the DPI formulation on lung epithelial *** showed DPI TP to be physico-chemically stable and of an aerodynamic size suitable for lung *** aerosolisation performance analysis showed the TP DPI formulation to have a fine particle fraction of 29.70±2.59%(Pr the TP formulation containing 1.0%(w/w)sodium stearate,the most efficient for *** the deposition of TP DPI on Calu-3 cells using the modified ACI,results demonstrated that 56.14±7.62%of the total TP deposited(13.07±1.69μg)was transported across the Calu-3 monolayer over 180 min following deposition,while 37.05±12.62%of the deposited TP was retained in the *** could be due to the presence of sodium stearate in the current formulation that increased its lipophilicity.A DPI formulation of TP was developed that was shown to be suitable for inhalation.

Purpose'. To examine adolescent experiences and perspectives of the GoActive intervention (ISrCTN31583496) using mixed methods processevaluation to determine satisfaction with intervention components and interpret a*dolescents experiences of the intervention process in order toprovide insights for future intervention ***'. Participants (n = 1542;13.2 土 0.4 years, mean 土 SD) provided questionnaire data at baseline (shyness, activity level) and post-intervention(intervention acceptability, satisfaction with components). Between-group differences (boys vs. girls and shy/inactive vs. others) weretested with linear regression models, accounting for school clustering. Data from 16 individual interviews (shy/inactive) and 11 focus groupswith 48 participants (mean = 4;range 2—7) were thematically coded. Qualitative and quantitative data were merged in an integrative mixedmethods convergence matrix, which denoted convergence and dissonance across ***'. Effect sizes for quantitative results were small and may not represent substantial between-group differences. Boys (vs. girls) preferredclass-based sessions (0 = 0.2, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.1—0.3);qualitative data suggested that this was because boys preferred competition,which was supported quantitatively (0 = 0.2, 95%CI: 0.1-0.3). Shy/inactive students did not enjoy the competition (0 = -0.3, 95%CI:—0.5 to —0.1). Boys enjoyed trying new activities more (0 = 0.1, 95%CI: 0.1 -0.2);qualitative data indicated a desire to try new activities acrossall subgroups but identified barriers to choosing unfamiliar activities with self-imposed choice restriction leading to boredom. Very recently,unusual thrombotic events in combination with severe thrombocytopenia have been reported 1–2 weeks following SArS-CoV-2 vaccination with ChAdOx1 nCov-19(AstraZeneca).This condition,termed VITT(vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia),has been related to high risk of fatal outcome with both ischaemic and haemorrhagic complications.12 Optimal treatment strategies still need to be elucidated—especially in case of cerebral sinus venous thrombosis(CSVT)with associated brain haemorrhage as the underlying thrombotic *** here report our clinical experience with two young women diagnosed with VITT-associated CSVT,treated with high-dose intravenous immunoglobulins(IVIGs),corticosteroids and argatroban in the hyperacute phase,followed by dabigatran resulting in excellent outcome.
