The exploitation of neglected niger accessions plays a crucial role in future breeding programs aimed to enhance the *** study evaluated the genetic variation in nutritional and nutraceutical compositions of 30 indigenous niger accessions originating from Eastern Ghats of India,and compare them with three improved varieties of the *** proximate compositions(g/100 g)showed significant variations,with moisture ranging from 1.36 g to 4.95 g,ash from 1.06 g to 5.45 g,fat from 28.53 g to 44.11 g,protein from 8.84 g to 18.18 g,carbohydrate from 11.21 g to 35.09 g,fiber from 16.32 g to 26.62 g,and energy from 407.32 kcal to 526.84 *** seeds are rich in phenol 41.10–82.20 mg/g,flavonoid 5.32–15.98μg/g,antioxidant 13.59–31.08%across the *** component analysis revealed that the first two axis explained 41.8%of the total variation,indicating significant differences among *** heritability and genetic advance in percent of mean(GAM)ranged from 61.11%to 99.91%and 12.5%–89.1%among the traits across the *** heritability and GAM recorded in vitamin C,ash content,antioxidant capacity,flavonoid and phenol suggests that these traits may be important for niger breeding ***,some indigenous niger accessions such as Mangardora,Ganjeipadar and kolabnagar had exceptionally rich in fat,protein and energy contents and are nutritionally superior compared to improved variety of the ***,exceptional rich in flavonoid,antioxidant capacity and vitamin C was recorded in Manahar,Badapada and *** nutrition rich accessions have ample opportunities for future breeding programs aimed to enhance the quality and hold great potential in food industry for making high value functional food.

red mud, an insoluble residue produced during alkali leaching of bauxite, is considered as a low-grade iron ore containing 30% to 50% iron. The present paper deals with the use of thermal plasma technology for producing pig iron from red mud waste fines. The smelting reduction of red mud was carried out in a 35 kW DC extended arc thermal plasma reactor. red mud was properly mixed with fluxes and graphite （fixed carbon, 99%） as a reductant as per stoichiometric requirement. The effect of various process parameters like a reductant, fluxes and smelting time on iron recovery was studied and optimized. An optimum condition for the maximum recovery of iron was obtained. A new thermal plasma process applicable to direct iron making from red mud waste fines that would achieve significant utilization of red mud was proposed.

The importance of rapid tooling (rT) and additive manufacturing (AM) appears to be indispensable for boosting the process of manufacturing and expanding the horizon of production technology worldwide. This concept draws the attention of numerous scholars to arrive at a conclusive theory for the widespread utilization of rT. This study attempts to determine the viability and performance of an rT electrode in the field of electro discharge machining (EDM). The electrode prototype is made using an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic by fused deposition modeling (FDM), an AM technique, electroplated with copper of desired thickness, and used in die sinking EDM of D2 steel. The scanning electron microscope analysis of the electroplated samples confirms that it is possible to obtain the desired thickness of the metal by electroplating on any electrically conductive surfaces. In the present work, an experimental study is performed for examining the electroplated copper thickness of the plastic EDM electrode and its performances. It is found that the electroplated ABS plastic EDM rT electrode successfully performs the machining operation of D2 steel, and the results are comparable with a solid electrode. The study reveals that the rT electrode can be regarded as a viable tool for rough cutting or semi-finishing cut EDM functions. The experimental results are thoroughly discussed, examined, analyzed, and evaluated for the purpose of developing the appropriate form of the concept.

The aim of this experimental study is to investigate the interaction between turbulent flow and a gravelbed that mimics the actual roughness structures of a natural bed and its implication on sediment *** particular,the response of the reynolds stresses and the role of intermittency to the bed roughness is the primary focus of the current *** this end,the flow field,measured with an Acoustice Doppler Velocimeter (ADV),is thoroughly examined,considering the conditional reynolds shear stresses and the high-order structure functions of *** study results show that the features and the roughness structure of the water-worked gravel-bed (WWGB) have a strong impact on bursting *** reason for this is attributed to the flow layer above the crest in the WWGBs being primarily affected by sweep events rather than ejection events,although the latter events are prevalent in this flow layer in an immobile,man-made,*** coherent structures,which are primarily responsible for sediment transport,also are the key cause of the presence of an intermittency excess that breaks the kolmogorov self-similarity hypothesis,leading to multi-fractal behavior of the velocity structure functions.

The fluoride ion removal from aqueous solution using synthesized Mg-Cr-Cl layered double hydroxide has been ***-Cr-Cl was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction,Fourier-transform infrared,thermo-gravimetric analysis,differential thermal analysis,and scanning electron *** experiments were carried out in batch mode as a function of adsorption dosages,contact time,pH,and initial fluoride concentration to get optimum adsorption *** adsorption kinetic study showed that the adsorption process followed first order *** fluoride removal was 88.5% and 77.4% at pH 7 with an adsorbent dose of 0.6 g/100 mL solution and initial fluoride concentration of 10 mg/L and 100 mg/L,*** equilibrium was established at 40 *** experiment data were fitted well with Langmuir isotherm with r 2 = *** constants were also measured and concluded that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic in *** removal percentage decreased slowly with increasing *** process is suitable for industrial *** regeneration of the material is not possible.

Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis(HLH)is an uncommon,potentially life threatening,hyper inflammatory syndrome of diverse *** signs include prolonged fever,organomegaly,and persistent unexplained *** spite of the well known diagnostic criteria put forth by HLH society,this continues to pose great diagnostic challenge in both pediatric and adult intensive care *** describe 4 adult(2 males,2 females,aged 19,29,40,and 17 years)and 3 pediatric(2 males,1female,aged 1 month,6 months,and 12 years)patients with secondary HLH who satisfied the HLH-2004 diagnostic *** evidence of hemophagocytosis was noted in 4 patients on initial bone marrow *** underlying etiologies were as follows:rickettsia tsutsugamushi(case 1),autoimmune disorder(case 2),systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis(sJIA)(case 3),unknown bite(possibly a venomous snake)(case 4),Plasmodium vivax(case 5),Cytomegalo virus(case 6),and Mycobacterium tuberculosis(case 7).In one patient,hemophagocytosis was presumed to have been exacerbated by administration of granulocyte monocyte colony stimulating factor(GM-CSF)for severe *** patients died with disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC)and multi organ failure within few days of HLH *** therapy was started in 3 patients,and etoposide was started in one patient *** to lack of specificity of diagnostic criteria,diagnosing and differentiating HLH from its closest mimickers like sepsis/septic shock may be quite challenging in critically ill ***,increasing awareness among physicians is essential for early diagnosis and effective therapy to reduce the mortality.

Fused deposition modeling （FDM） is an additive manufacturing technique used to fabricate intricate parts in 3D, within the shortest possible time without using tools, dies, fixtures, or human intervention. This article empiri- cally reports the effects of the process parameters, i.e., the layer thickness, raster angle, raster width, air gap, part orientation, and their interactions on the accuracy of the length, width, and thicknes, of acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene （ABSP 400） parts fabricated using the FDM tech- nique. It was found that contraction prevailed along the directions of the length and width, whereas the thickness increased from the desired value of the fabricated part. Optimum parameter settings to minimize the responses, such as the change in length, width, and thickness of the test specimen, have been determined using Taguchi＇s parameter design. Because Taguchi＇s philosophy fails to obtain uniform optimal factor settings for each response, in this study, a fuzzy inference system combined with the Taguchi philosophy has been adopted to generate a single response from three responses, to reach the specific target values with the overall optimum factor level settings. Further, Taguchi and artificial neural network predictive models are also presented in this study for an accuracy evaluation within the dimensions of the FDM fabricated parts, subjected to various operating conditions. The pre- dicted values obtained from both models are in good agreement with the values from the experiment data, with mean absolute percentage errors of 3.16 and 0.15, respectively. Finally, the confirmatory test results showed an improvement in the multi-response performance index of 0.454 when using the optimal FDM parameters over the initial values.
