Ethylene carbonate(EC)is the conventional and promising solvent to achieve high energy lithium metal ***,the innate low energy level of lowest unoccupied molecular or.ital(LUMO)in EC makes it incompatible with lithium metal,causing uncontrolled lithium growth and low Coulombic efficiency(CE).Her.in,we introduced bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)carbonate(TFEC),a carbonate with a strong electron-withdrawing effect(-CF_(3)),which enhances the stability of EC at electrode interface by reducing ion-dipole interactions between Li^(+)and *** the interaction between Li and EC weakens,TFEC and more PF_(6)^(-)anions coor.inate with Li^(+),promoting the formation of contact ion pairs(CiPs)and aggregates(AGGs),thereby increasing the inorganic composition within the solid electrolyte ***,the distinct solvated sheath structure favors the decomposition of fluorinated solvents and PF_(6)^(-)anions,for.ing inorganic-rich electrode-electrolyte interfaces(SEi and CEi),thereby ensuring high stability for both the Li anode and high-voltage ***,when applied in the full-cell Li||LiMn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)PO_(4),it displays consistent cycling performance,exhibiting minimal capacity decay with a retention rate of 62.5%after800 cycles,substantially surpassing that of cells using base electrolytes(29.8%).

Aqueous zinc-halogen batteries are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to their abundant resources,intrinsic safety,and high theoretical ***,the uncontrollable zinc dendrite growth and spontaneous shuttle effect of active species have prohibited their practical ***,a double-layered protective film based on zinc-ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid(ZEA)ar.ificial film and ZnF2-rich solid electrolyte interphase(SEi)layer has been successfully fabricated on the zinc metal anode via electrode/electrolyte syner.istic *** ZEA-based ar.ificial film shows strong affinity for the ZnF2-rich SEi layer,therefore effectively suppressing the SEi breakage and facilitating the construction of double-layered protective film on the zinc metal *** double-layered architecture not only modulates Zn2+flux and suppresses the zinc dendrite growth,but also blocks the direct contact between the metal anode and electrolyte,thus mitigating the corrosion from the active *** employing optimized metal anodes and electrolytes,the as-developed zinc-(dual)halogen batteries present high areal capacity and satisfactory cycling *** work provides a new avenue for developing aqueous zinc-(dual)halogen batteries.

The gut microbiota and the associated metabolism play a pivotal role in maintaining human health,yet their assessment is challenging due to their.inherent diver.ity,variety,and ***,we developed a multichannel sensor array based on a single fluorescent probe,allowing for rapid and robust profiling gut microbiota and their key metabolites including cysteine(Cys),glutathione(GSH),and homocysteine(Hcy).The assay leverages the single fluorescent probe that is with multiple binding sites and the cross-reactive sensing principle to specifically recognize different biological *** analyzing the pattern of biological thiols,the assay is capable of rapidly identifying six gut-derived bacteria including probiotics,neutral,and pathogenic str.ins based on fluorescent fingerprints within 5 min,and also discriminating bacteria and their mixtures with different *** the assay that enables the simultaneous measurement of multiple gut-derived bacteria and their metabolites,the designed array achieved an accuracy of 0.99 when discriminating colorectal cancer(CrC)patient feces samples from healthy ***,the as-prepared sensor array can also be used to identify various stages of *** simplicity,rapidness,and cost-effectiveness of our approach render.it a robust platform for the analysis of gut microbiota.

BACKGrOUND Body composition analysis(BCA)is primarily used in the management of conditions such as obesity and endocrine ***,its potential in providing nutritional guidance for patients with Alzheimer’s disease(AD)remains relatively *** To explore the clinical efficacy of BCA-based dietary nutrition scheme on bone metabolism in AD *** This retrospective study included 96 patients with AD complicated by osteoporosis who were admitted to The Third Hospital of Quzhou between January 2023 and December *** on data from previous similar studies,the patients were randomly assigned to either a routine diet(rD)group(n=48)or a personalized nutrition(PN)group(n=48).The rD group received conventional dietary guidance,while the PN group received individualized diet intervention measures based on human *** intervention period lasted for 12 *** mineral density(BMD),body mass index(BMi),muscle mass,mineral content,osteocalcin,25-hydroxyvitamin D,procollagen type i N-ter.inal propeptide(PiNP),beta C-ter.inal telopeptide of type i collagen(β-CTX),and serum calcium were measured and compared between the two groups before and 12 weeks after the *** No significant differences were observed between groups in terms of age,sex,height,BMi,or other baseline data(P>0.05).in both groups,BMi did not show significant changes after the intervention(P>0.05),whereas muscle mass and mineral content were significantly increased(Pr the intervention,BMi in the PN group did not differ significantly from that of the rD group,but muscle mass and mineral content were significantly higher.in the PN group(Pr the intervention,a higher propor.ion of patients in the PN group had a T score>-1 compared to the rD group(Pini-mental state examination(MMSE)score was similar.in both groups before the ***,12 weeks after the intervention,the MMSE score in the PN group was significantly higher than

As a highly promising conductive polymer material,the synthesis method,structure regulation,and performance improvement of polyaniline(PANi)are hot research *** this work,the radiation-induced polymerization of aniline in HNO_(3)solution was successfully achieved at room temperature without the use of chemical *** the analysis of the radiation chemical reactions of inorganic acids and nitrate salt solutions,the characterization of the intermediate free radicals in the irradiated systems,and the influence of the pH of the solutions on the polymerization activity and product morphologies,the radiation-induced polymerization mechanism of aniline is discussed in detail and *** at a condition of[HNO_(3)]>[aniline],i.e.,pHi can be successfully obtained underγ-ray *** polymerization begins with the oxidation of aniline cations to aniline cation radicals by·NO_(3)generated by radiolysis reactions,and undergoes repeated three steps of monomer free radical recombination,deprotonation,and oxidation reaction of·NO_(3),thus for.ing a PANi *** addition to the polymerization reaction,the aniline units are protonated and oxidized because of the strongly acidity and oxidation of the reaction system under γ-ray irradiation,which means that the molecular chain structure of the radiation-synthesized PANi can be regulated by pH,nitrate concentration,and irradiation ***-synthesized PANi has a moderate protonation and oxidation state,which can be used for the preparation of PANi supercapacitors with better electrochemical proper.ies than those prepared by chemical oxidation under the same *** work presents a new radiation-synthesis method and polymerization mechanism of PANi,which not only expands the application of radiation technique in the field of polymer synthesis,but also provides a new idea for the structural regulation and electrochemical property optimization of PANi.

Suppressing the coffee ring effect(CrE)of an aqueous suspension through manipulation without affecting the remaining deposit is highly desirable for practical applications;however,this is extremely ***,we demonstrate CrE suppression with undetectable disturbance of the deposit on carbon-based *** was achieved by adding ammonium bicarbonate(NH4HCO_(3)),which benefits from the dissociation of NH_(4)HCO_(3) to produce NH_(4)^(+),as well as its decomposition into NH_(3) and CO_(2) ***,NH_(4)^(+) can also function as Na^(+)/K^(+)to suppress the CrE through cation interactions,although its hydrate state is only par.ially positively ***,we successfully applied this approach to enhance the morphology,resistance,and color unifor.ity of deposits of graphene oxide quantum dots,conductive inks,and organic dyes,*** study provides a practical strategy for.improving the performance of fabricated devices and paves the way for the development of high-accuracy manufacturing techniques in diverse industries.

This study used steel slag,fly ash,and metakaolin as raw materials(SFM materials)to create silica-alumina-based geopolymers that can solidify Hg^(2+)when activated with sodiumbased water *** experiments began with a triangular lattice point mixing design experiment,and the results were fitted,analyzed,and *** optimum SFM material mass ratio was found to be 70%steel slag,25%fly ash,and 5%*** optimum modulus of the activator was identified by comparing the unconfined compressive strength and solidifying impact on Hg^(2+)of geosynthetics with different *** SFM geopolymer was then applied in the form of potting to cure the granulated mercury *** inclusion of 50%SFM material generated a geosynthetic that reduced mercury transport to the surface soil by roughly 90%.The mercury concentration of herbaceous plant samples was also reduced by 78%.it indicates that the SFM material can effectively attenuate the migration transformation of ***,characterization methods such as XPS and FTir were used to investigate the mechanism of Hg^(2+)solidification by geopolymers generated by SFM *** possible solidification mechanisms were proposed as alkaline environment-induced mercury precipitation,chemical bonding s,surface adsorption of Hg^(2+)and its precipitates by the geopolymer,and physical encapsulation.
