Ce-UiO-66 nanozymes with charge-regulated uricase-like activity for enzyme/reagent-free detection of uric acid

Designing highly performed uricase-like nanozymes through enzymatic-like colorimetric analysis system is of vital significance for the quantitative detection of uric acid(UA).Herein,series of Ce-UiO-66 nanozymes with different surface charges through the ligand engineering strategy were rationally designed and synthesized as efficient uricase mimics with tailorable uricase-like activities to catalytically convert UA into allantoin and ***,by tuning the functional groups of 1,4-benzoic acid ligands,we explored the relationships between the surface charges of Ce-UiO-66-X(X=H,NO_(2),Br,CH_(3),and OH)nanozymes and their uricase-like *** them,Ce UiO-66-CH_(3) with the moderate surface charge exhibited optimal substrate adsorption and product desorption,displaying the highest uricase-like ***,H2O2,as the product of UA oxidation,enabled Ce-UiO-66-CH_(3) itself as a dose-dependent chromogenic substrate of H_(2)O_(2),giving a white-to-orange color evolution due to the Ce-UiO-66-CH_(3)-to-CeO_(2) phase ***,a smartphone-assisted all-in-one enzyme/reagent-free biosensor based on Ce-UiO-66-CH_(3) was established for the precise visual detection of UA analysis,which was featured by a wide detection range(31–4000µM),a high sensitivity(limit of detection:8.9µM),a rapid response(-3 min),a high structural stability,and a high anti-interference ability.

An ionic liquid assisted hydrogel functionalized silica stationary phase for mixed-mode liquid chromatography

An ionic liquid assisted hydrogel modified silica was synthesized using a one-pot polymerization and physical coating technique and subsequently applied to mixed-mode liquid *** techniques,including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-Ir),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and elemental analysis,etc.,confirmed the successful prepared of this innovative stationary *** unique combination of amide,long alkyl chain,and imidazole ring in the hydrogel coating enables the stationary phase to function effectively in hydrophilic/reversed-phase/ion exchange liquid ***,the stationary phase exhibited superior separation performance owing to the synergistic effect of the ionic liquid and *** was particularly evident when analyzing various analytes such as organic acids,nucleosides/bases,polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and ***,under our operating conditions,an excellent column efficiency of 53,642.9 plates/m was achieved for *** summary,we have proposed a straightforward strategy to enhance the separation performance of hydrogel coatings in liquid chromatography,thereby broadening the potential applications of hydrogels in the field of separation.

CaH2-promoted activity of Ni-carbonate interface for CO_(2) methanation

Transition metal-carbonate interfaces often act as active sites in heterogeneous catalytic *** interface between transition metal and metal carbonate exhibits a dynamic equilibrium during the CO_(2)hydrogenation reaction,involving surface carbonate hydrogenation and CO_(2)***,there have been few reports on engineering the activity of the interface between transition metal and alkaline earth metal carbonate for catalytic CO_(2)*** work demonstrated that the incorporation of CaH_(2)in Ni/CaCO_(3)enhances the CO_(2)methanation activity of the *** CO_(2)conversion for Ni/CaH_(2)-CaCO_(3)reached 68.5%at 400°C,which was much higher than that of the Ni/CaCO_(3)(31.6%) and Ni/CaH_(2)-CaO (42.4%) ***,the Ni/CaH_(2)-CaCO_(3)catalysts remained stable during the stability test for 24 h at 400°C and 8 *** research revealed that CaH_(2)played a crucial role in promoting the activity of the Ni-carbonate interface for CO_(2)***_(2)could modify the electronic structure of Ni and tune the structural properties of CaCO_(3)to generate medium basic sites (OH groups),which are favorable for the activation of H2and CO_(2).In-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIr) analysis combined with density functional theory calculations demonstrated that CO_(2)activation occurs at the hydroxyl group (OH) on the CaH_(2)-modified Ni-carbonate surface,leading to the formation of CO_(3)H****,our study has confirmed that CO_(2)methanation over the Ni/CaH_(2)-CaCO_(3)catalysts proceeds via the formate pathway.

Chattering-Free Fault-Tolerant Cluster Control and Fault Direction Identification for HIL UAV Swarm With Pre-Specified Performance

In this paper, the problem of pre-specified performance fault-tolerant cluster consensus control and fault direction identification is solved for the human-in-the-loop(HIL) swarm unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) in the presence of possible nonidentical and unknown direction faults(NUDFs) in the yaw *** control strategy begins with the design of a pre-specified performance event-triggered observer for each individual *** observers estimate the outputs of the human controlled UAVs, and simultaneously achieve the distributed design of actual control signals as well as cluster consensus of the observer *** is worth mentioning that these observers require neither the high-order derivatives of the human controlled UAVs' output nor a priori knowledge of the initial conditions. The fault-tolerant controller realizes the pre-specified performance output regulation through error transformation and the Nussbaum function. It should be pointed out that there are no chattering caused by the jump of the Nussbaum function when a reverse fault occurs. In addition, to provide a basis for further solving the problem of physical malfunctions, a fault direction identification algorithm is proposed to accurately identify whether a reverse fault has occurred. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control and fault direction identification strategies when the reverse faults occur.

Multimodal Cross-Attention Mechanism-Based Algorithm for Elderly Behavior Monitoring and recognition

In contrast to the general population, behavior recognition among the elderly poses increased specificity and difficulty, rendering the reliability and usability aspects of safety monitoring systems for the elderly more challenging. Hence, this study proposes a multi-modal perception-based solution for an elderly safety monitoring recognition system. The proposed approach introduces a recognition algorithm based on multi-modal cross-attention mechanism, innovatively incorporating complex information such as scene context and voice to achieve more accurate behavior recognition. By fusing four modalities, namely image, skeleton, sensor data, and audio, we further enhance the accuracy of recognition. Additionally, we introduce a novel human-robot interaction mode, where the system associates directly recognized intentions with robotic actions without explicit commands, delivering a more natural and efficient elderly assistance paradigm. This mode not only elevates the level of safety monitoring for the elderly but also facilitates a more natural and efficient caregiving approach. Experimental results demonstrate significant improvement in recognition accuracy for 11 typical elderly behaviors compared to existing methods.

Nowadays,it is still a challenge to prepared high efficiency and low cost formaldehyde(HCHO)removal catalysts in order to tackle the long-living indoor air ***,δ-MnO_(2)is successfully synthesized by a facile ozonation strategy,where Mn^(2+)is oxidized by ozone(O_(3))bubble in an alkaline *** presents one of the best catalytic properties with a low 100%conversion temperature of 85℃for 50 ppm of HCHO under a GHSV of 48,000 mL/(g·hr).As a comparison,more than 6 times far longer oxidation time is needed if O3 is replaced by O_(2).Characterizations show that ozonation process generates a different intermediate of tetragonalβ-HMnO_(2),which would favor the quick transformation into the final productδ-MnO_(2),as compared with the relatively more thermodynamically stable monoclinicγ-HMnO_(2)in the O_(2)***,HCHO is found to be decomposed into CO_(2)via formate,dioxymethylene and carbonate species as identified by room temperature insitu diffuse reflectance infrared fourier transform *** these results show great potency of this facile ozonation routine for the highly activeδ-MnO_(2)synthesis in order to remove the HCHO contamination.

Diradicaloid polycyclic hydrocarbons(PHs)own unique open-shell electronic structures and exhibit potential utility in the fields of organic electronics and ***,we disclose precise fusion of B/O-heterocycles onto PHs for control over their electronic structures and diradical *** designed and synthesized four B/O-containing diradicaloid isomers that feature the fluoreno[3,2-b]fluorene and fluoreno[2,1-a]fluoreneπ-skeletons,*** precise B/O-heterocycle fusion modes along with the changed conjugation patterns lead to their modulated electronic structures and properties,such as diradical and aromatic structures,energy levels and band gaps,as well as magnetic,electrochemical and photophysical ***,the mode A may decrease the open-shell extent,whereas the mode B can enhance the diradical nature,leading to their well-tuned diradical characters in the range ***,the mode A stabilizes the LUMOs and the mode B obviously increases the HOMO levels,which are remarkably contributed by the B and O atoms,respectively,further giving rise to the decreased band gaps and redshifted *** study clearly illustrates the electronic effects of B/O-heterocycle fusion on PHs and gains insight into B/O-type organic *** findings will provide an important guideline for the design of more fascinating heteroatom-containing diradicaloids.

Outer-Independent roman Domination on Cartesian Product of Paths

Outer-independent roman domination on graphs originates from the defensive strategy of Ancient rome, which is that if any city without an army is attacked, a neighboring city with two armies could mobilize an army to support it and any two cities that have no army cannot be adjacent. The outer-independent roman domination on graphs is an attractive topic in graph theory, and the definition is described as follows. Given a graph G =(V, E), a function f : V(G) → {0, 1, 2} is an outer-independent roman dominating function(OIrDF) if f satisfies that every vertex v ∈ V with f(v) = 0 has at least one adjacent vertex u ∈ N(v) with f(u) = 2,where N(v) is the open neighborhood of v, and the set V0 = {v|f(v) = 0} is an independent set. The weight of an OIrDF f is w(f) =∑v∈Vf(v). The value of minf w(f) is the outerindependent roman domination number of G, denoted as γoir(G). This paper is devoted to the study of the outer-independent roman domination number of the Cartesian product of paths Pn□Pm. With the help of computer, we find some recursive OIrDFs and then we present an upper bound of γoir(Pn□Pm). Furthermore, we prove the lower bound of γoir(Pn□Pm)(n ≤ 3)is equal to the upper bound. Hence, we achieve the exact value of γoir(Pn□Pm) for n ≤ 3 and the upper bound of γoir(Pn□Pm) for n ≥ 4.
