This paper proposes the orthogonal and nonorthogonal schemes in the interference environments for visible light communication（ VLc） systems. The proposed schemes pay attention to the case when different bit streams from multiple cells are simultaneously transmitted, which consequently causes inter-cell interference（ IcI） and greatly deteriorates the bit error rate（ ber） and channel capacity performance of the system. The performance of the newdeveloped multi-cell system in indoor VLc systems is evaluated. The bipolar phase shift keying（ BPSK） modulation scheme with orthogonal pulses（ OPs） for multiple cells environments is employed to mitigate the IcI problem and improve the ber and channel capacity performances. Since the use of different OPs in each cell requires more number of OPs, which requires high bandwidth, OPs are reused at certain distances. Three different schemes, which are OPs,orthogonal and non-orthogonal pulses（ NOP） reuse, are compared. This paper investigates the impact of using these schemes and compared their performances in the IcI environments. The ber and channel capacity using the proposed schemes are comprehensively examined. Simulation and theoretical results showthat the OPs schemes are more effective in the interference areas of the room and significantly outperform NOP.

This paper presents the design and analysis of optical filters that are placed at the output of directly modulated vertical cavity surface emitting laser （VcSEL） in the process of inexpensive transmitter＇s implementation for upcoming generation optical access network. Generation of non return to zero （NrZ） optical signal from the transmitter for 110 km error-free single mode fiber （SmF） transmission at 10 Gb/s with bit error rate （ber） of 10-30 in the absence of the external modulator and encoder was proposed. Effects of super-Gaussian and Butterworth optical filters at VcSEL output were demonstrated to maximize performance of SmF optical systems without need of any dispersion compensation technique.

目的:研究散瞳对人工晶状体屈光度数计算的影响。方法:前瞻性研究。选取梅尔辛大学医学院诊断为白内障需接受白内障超声乳化联合人工晶状体植入术的患者45例52眼作为研究对象。散瞳前后,所有患者均接受术前角膜地形图测量,自动角膜曲率测量和生物特征测定。结果:与散瞳前数值相比,散瞳后,自动角膜曲率计测得的水平曲率(Kh)明显更大,且生物超声波测定的前房深度明显更深。使用散瞳后测量计算得出的屈光度数植入人工晶状体屈光正常的几率明显较高。比较正视眼和屈光不正眼发现正视眼的前房深度明显更深。结论:在人工晶状体屈光度计算中,角膜曲率测量与生物特征测量比公式计算更重要。如果采用接触技术进行生物超声波测定,须注意避免角膜压迫。在检测时,注意前房深度应随访,且可通过利用人工晶状体屈光度计算中的最大值将误差最小化。

The experimental uveitis was induced by injecting lens protein into the antertor cham- ber of rabbit's eye.A special fluorophotometer was used for objectively measuring the flaoreseein level in the anterior chamber of the eve to rellect the degree of *** administered in- *** inhibitory effects of flufenamic acid and mefenamic acid on experimental uveius showed a dose-dependent relationship,The former at dosages 5.***.12.5 and 250 mg kg decreased the areas under the time-response curve to 22.3%.11.5% and 9.3% of the ***:however the latter at dosages 6.***.12.5 and 25.0 mg/kg decreased the areas under the curve to 35.5%.21.0% and 8.6% of the control,*** instilled by ocular route.50μl of 1% eye-drops of flufenmic acid or mefenamic acid lowered the fluoreseein levels of treated eyes as well as contra-lateral *** areas under the time-response curve for treated eyes were decreased to 20.3% of the control and those of contra-lateral eyes to about 50% of the *** results indicate that both flufenamic and mefenamic acids,applied intravenously or topically,can inhibit ocular inflammation.

Adaptive bit-loading algorithms can improve the performance of OFDm systems significantly. The tradeoff between the performance of the algorithm and its computational complexity is essential for the implementation of loading algorithms. In this paper, we present a low complexity non-iterative discrete bit-loading algorithm to maximize the data rate subject to specified target ber and uniform power allocation. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the equal-ber loading and achieves similar rates to incremental allocation, yet with much lower complexity.
