In the United States,80%-90%of primary hepatic tumors are hepatocellular carcinomas and 10%-15%are cholangiocarcinomas(CCA),both with high mortality rate,particularly CCA,which portends a worse *** management with surgery has good outcomes in appropriately selected patients;however,novel ablative treatment options have emerged,such as radiofrequency ablation(rFA),which can improve the prognosis of both hepatic and biliary *** is aimed to generate an area of necrosis within the targeted tissue by applying thermal therapy via an electrode,with a goal to completely eradicate the tumor while preserving surrounding healthy *** of rFA in management of hepatic and biliary tumors forms the focus of our current mini-review article.

The microstructure development during a cooling period of alloys being immiscible in the liquid state such as Al-Pb or Al-Bi has gained a renewed scientific and technical interest during the last decades. Experiments have been performed to investigate the phase transformation kinetics in the liquid miscibility gap, and numerical models have been developed to simulate and analyze the solidification process. The recently developed computational modeling techniques can, to some extent, be applied to describe the decomposition, the spatial phase separation and the microstructure evolution during a cooling period of an immiscible alloy through the miscibility gap. This article overviews these researches in this field.

The estimation and analysis of road traffic represent the preliminary steps towards satisfying the current needs for smooth,safe,and green ***,effective traffic monitoring is an essential topic alongside the planning of sustainable transportation systems and the development of new traffic management *** contrast to classical traffic detection solutions,this study investigates the correlation between travelers'social activities and road *** s's primary goal is to investigate the presence of the relationship between social activity and road traffic,which might allow an infrastructure-independent traffic monitoring technique as ***'s general activities at Point of Interest(POI)locations(measured as occupancy parameter)are correlated with traffic data so that,finally,proper proxys can be defined for link-level average traffic speed *** method is tested and evaluated using real-world traffic and POI occupancy data from Budapest(District XI.).The results of the correlation investigation justify an indirect relationship between activity at POIs and road traffic,which holds promise for future practical applicability.

Varicoceles had been recognized in clinical practice for over a century. Originally, these procedures were utilized for the management of pain but, since 1952, the repairs had been mostly for the treatment of male infertility. However, the diagnosis and treatment of varicoceles were controversial, because the pathophysiology was not clear, the entry criteria of the studies varied among centers, and there were few randomized clinical trials. Nevertheless, clinicians continued developing techniques for the correction of varicoceles, basic scientists continued investigations on the pathophysiology of varicoceles, and new outcome data from prospective randomized trials have appeared in the world＇s literature. Therefore, this special edition of the Asian Journal of Andrology was proposed to report much of the new information related to varicoceles and, as a specific part of this project, the present article was developed as a comprehensive review of the evolution and refinements of the corrective procedures.

通过将MoNbVTa_(x)(x=0、0.3、0.5、0.7和1)试样置于800℃的大气环境下进行不同时间的氧化试验,研究了氧化时间和Ta含量对合金氧化性能及机理的影响。结果发现,随着氧化时间延长,氧化产物发生熔化/气化,表面氧化层逐渐变厚开裂。Ta含量增加增强了高熵合金特有的缓慢扩散效应,抑制了O元素在合金内的扩散,降低了富易气化元素(V)/易氧化区域的含量,减少了O的扩散通道,合金的高温抗氧化性能逐渐提高。此外,Ta氧化物化学稳定性更高,开裂倾向更小,提高了氧化层的致密度,抑制了氧化层的扩散开裂。

We deal with a variational inequality describing the motion of incompressible fluids, whose viscous stress tensors belong to the subdifferential of a functional at the point given by the symmetric part of the velocity gradient, with a nonlocal friction condition on a part of the boundary obtained by a generalized mollification of the stresses. We establish an existence result of a solution to the nonlocal friction problem for this class of non-Newtonian flows. The result is based on the Faedo-Galerkin and Moreau Yosida methods, the duality theory of convex analysis and the Tychonov-Kakutani-Glicksberg fixed point theorem for multi-valued mappings in an appropriate functional space framework.

The kinetics of hydrodearomatization (HDA) is studied in an isothermal high-throughput reactor over three catalysts (CoMo, NiMo, and NiMoW) to produce clean diesel fuel according to China’s latest emission standards. The influences of reaction temperature, pressure, the ratio of H2 to oil, and space time were systematically investigated. By analyzing the reaction mechanism, a four-lump kinetic model considering the influence of competitive adsorption was proposed for the hydrodearomatization reaction, and the model parameters were optimized with good fitting. It was found that nitrogen compounds inhibited the hydrodearomatization reaction. The simulation of various catalyst stacking schemes based on the HDA kinetic model is close to the experimental data, proving the reliability of the model. The concentration of aromatic compounds of different loading sequences was predicted with the catalyst gradation model.
