Maintaining software reliability is the key idea for conducting quality *** can be done by having less complex *** developers and other experts have made signicant efforts in this context,the level of reliability is not the same as it should ***,further research into the most detailed mechanisms for evaluating and increasing software reliability is essential.A signicant aspect of growing the degree of reliable applications is the quantitative assessment of *** are multiple statistical as well as soft computing methods available in literature for predicting reliability of ***,none of these mechanisms are useful for all kinds of failure datasets and *** nding the most optimal model for reliability prediction is an important *** paper suggests a novel method to substantially pick the best model of reliability *** method is the combination of analytic hierarchy method(AHP),hesitant fuzzy(HF)sets and technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS).In addition,using the different iterations of the process,procedural sensitivity was also performed to validate the *** ndings of the software reliability prediction models prioritization will help the developers to estimate reliability prediction based on the software type.

Glaxo Laboratories, Bombay, have prepared a potent tetanus vaccine of 250 Lf as a substitute of the previous 5 Lf tetanus vaccine. The safety evaluation of the vaccine has been reported, but the teratogenic potential was not studied. In the experiment reported herein we have studied the teratogenic action of the vaccine in the progeny of rabbits. No congenital anomalies were observed.

Hyperimmune sera (HIS), raised against crude giardia antigen, on in vitro interaction, caused more agglutination of Giardia lamblia trophozoites. Heat inactivated HIS possessed a comparable agglutinating activity as the non-inactivated controls. Non-inactivated normal (unimmunized) serum caused immobilization of Giardia trophozoite, which was checked on heat inactivation. Antibodies in immune sera are mainly responsible for agglutination, whereas the heat labile non-immune components control the mobility of the intestinal parasite.

萨斯喀彻温省的大多数稠油油藏层薄且位于油田边缘,不适宜用热采方法。对这些稠油油藏而言,非混相的CO_2或天然气驱替工艺可能是十分有利的提高原油采收率技术。如果该工艺的确适用,将会采出90%的原始石油地质储量。该地区无廉价的CO_2资源,可用含有CO_2的其它气体代替。本文采用萨斯喀彻温省研究委员会实验室研究结果来评价含85mol%N_2和15mol%CO_2烟道气的适用性,并评价稠油开发的多种开发技术政策。试验所用稠油(14°API比重)是从位于LOYMINSTEr地区的SENLAC油藏收集到的。本项评价研究了驱替类型(二次或三次),注入方式(段塞试验及水-气交替驱替),原油类型(SENLAC含气原油与脱气原油),注入气体(烟道气及CO_2)等因素对原油采收率的影响。采用SENLAC油烟道气所做的线性岩心驱替试验(28℃,2.5-2.7MPa实施状态下)得出的主要结论是: 1.在三种不同注入方式(二次段塞、三次段塞及三次水气交替)之中,含气原油采用二次气段塞注入是稠油开发最适宜的注入方式。因为采用这种注气方法具有很高的驱替效率。 2.用三次水气交替方法比二次段塞方法可以采出更多的原油,因为前者的优势在于能够提高对流度的控制。 3.实验中用含气原油比用脱气原油总采收率高。这是由于含气原油的流度相对更为适宜,含气原油实验中操作压力略高一点。 4.烟道气可作为有效驱替介质,因为其原油采收率比采用CO_2仅低2-4个百分点。人们认为用烟道气方法获得的较好原油采收率是二个竞争机制的综合结果——一为由N_2提供的游离气驱机理,另一个由CO_2提供的溶解机理,这不同于CO_2驱占主导的溶解机理(由CO_2提供)。

rSPO2 as Wnt signaling enabler: Important roles in cancer development and therapeutic opportunities

r-spondins are secretory proteins localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi bodies and are processed through the secretory *** the r-spondin family,rSPO2 has emanated as a novel regulator of Wnt signaling,which has now been acknowledged in numerous in vitro and in vivo *** is an abnormal growth of cells that proliferates and spreads uncontrollably due to the accumulation of genetic and epigenetic factors that constitutively activate Wnt signaling in various types of *** cancer (CrC) begins when cells in the colon and rectum follow an indefinite pattern of division due to aberrant Wnt activation as one of the key ***-long progress in research on r-spondins has demonstrated their oncogenic function in distinct cancer types,particularly *** a critical regulator of the Wnt pathway,it modulates several phenotypes of cells,such as cell proliferation,invasion,migration,and cancer stem cell ***,rSPO mutations,gene rearrangements,fusions,copy number alterations,and altered gene expression have also been identified in a variety of cancers,including *** this review,we addressed the recent updates regarding the recurrently altered r-spondins with special emphasis on the rSPO2 gene and its involvement in potentiating Wnt signaling in *** addition to the compelling physiological and biological roles in cellular fate and regulation,we propose that rSPO2 would be valuable as a potential biomarker for prognostic,diagnostic,and therapeutic use in CrC.

Microstructure transformations and improving wear resistance of austenitic stainless steel additively fabricated by arc-based DED process

In this study, austenitic stainless steel(ASS) was additively fabricated by an arc-based direct energy deposition(DED) technique. Macrostructure, microstructure, mechanical characteristics at different spatial orientations(0°, 90°, and 45°), and wear characteristics were evaluated at the deposited structure top, middle, and bottom regions. results show that austenite(γ) and delta-ferrite(δ) phases make up most of the microstructure of additively fabricated SS316LSi steel. Within γ matrix, δ phase is dispersed both(within and along) grain boundaries, exhibiting a fine vermicular morphology. The bottom, middle,and top regions of WAAM deposited ASS exhibit similar values to those of wrought SS316L in the tensile and impact test findings. Notably, a drop in hardness values is observed as build height increases. During SEM examinations of fractured surfaces from tensile specimen, closed dimples were observed, indicating good ductility of as-built structure. Wear test findings show signs of mild oxidation and usual adhesive wear. By depositing a mechanically mixed composite layer, an increase in the oxidation percentage was discovered to facilitate healing of worn surfaces. The findings of this study will help in design, production and renovation of products/components that are prone to wear. WAAM-deposited ASS has remarkable strength and ability to withstand impacts;it can be used in the production of armour plates for defence applications, mainly military vehicles and aircraft.

Optimizing sampling frequency of surface and downhole measurements for efficient stick-slip vibration detection

Drilling vibrations significantly impact drilling operations with high costs due to early downhole equipment failure and loss of productive time. Stick-slip vibrations, a severe form of torsional vibrations,is known to be present up to 50% of total drilling time, making it a topic of immense concern and research. An ongoing discussion in the industry is regarding the reliability of surface measurements for early detection of severe downhole bit sticking. Moreover, most surface measurements are sampled at lower frequency rates closer to 1 Hz. recently, the implementation of advanced data acquisition modules in downhole subs has greatly improved our understanding of drilling vibrations through high resolution data, sampled up to 10 kHz. However, with a wide range of sampling frequency to choose from different available tools, a critical question remains unanswered. What is an optimal and adequate sampling frequency for early detection of downhole vibrations using both surface and downhole measurements?The paper addresses the question with a focus on stick-slip vibrations through an experimental investigation. Stick slip tests are repeated for different sampling frequencies of surface and downhole measurements and the stick slip index for each case is calculated. The stick-slip index varies for different sampling frequency even though the vibration tests remain completely identical. It was inferred that sampling frequency of measurements greatly impact the detection of downhole vibrations. Even though stick-slip vibrations are characteristically low frequency vibrations(≤2Hz), a minimum of 10Hz sampling frequency is recommended for detection of stick-slip vibrations. Moreover, all characteristics of stick-slip vibrations including bit sticking, bit rPM peaks and negative bit rPMs are clearly observed at a minimum of 100Hz sampling rate.

Trace fossil evidences of an Early Miocene paleoseismic event and depositional regime change from the kutch(kachchh) Basin

Unconsolidated siliciclastic sediments can undergo post-burial deformation, which leads to the formation of distinctive sedimentary structures, known as soft-sediment deformation structures(SSDS). The presence of a series of sand volcanoes confined to a particular lithostratigraphic horizon can represent a paleoseismic activity and, thereby, exemplifies the concept of “seismite”. The kutch Basin has been a tectonically active region since the initiation of eastern Gondwana rifting followed by a tectonic inversion during the Cenozoic due to the collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates. A stratum-bound series of sand volcanoes belonging to the khari Nadi Formation(kNF) is exposed along the banks of khari river. They separate the shallow marine deposits below and non-marine deposits above with their characteristic marine and paleosol trace fossil suites, respectively. Although a seismogenic origin has been much debated for the SSDS,the ichnofabric analysis of the sand-volcano-bearing stratum unequivocally points toward such an origin under a shallow seafloor condition. In addition to the sedimentary regime change from an open shallow-marine setting to a continental depositional environment concomitant with basinal uplift, the behavior of the burrowing crustaceans testifies to a syn-depositional development of a fault network associated with the fluidization, sand volcanism, and the resilience of the trace-producers in surviving those processes until the sedimentary regime change in the overlying strata. Although the ichno-sedimentological evidence apparently differs from the previous works that proposed a continuous base-level rise from the beginning of deposition of the khari Nadi Formation up to the middle part of the overlying Chhasra Formation, the paleoseismic activity,its ichnologic signature, and the depositional regime change refer to a higher-resolution(i.e., lower-order)sequence-stratigraphic change causing a short-duration regression within a longer-durat
