深水砂体成因研究新进展

在深水重力流研究中,传统浊流理论正受到砂质块体搬运和底流再改造砂体概念的冲击。陆架边缘沉积物滑塌是重力流驱动沉积过程最普遍的诱因,块体搬运过程(包含滑动、滑塌以及碎屑流)由于具有较高沉积物浓度(体积分数为25%～100%),表现为弹性和塑性特征。浊流因具有较低的沉积物浓度(体积分数为1%～23%)表现为黏性流动,不属于块体搬运的范畴。除重力流外,底流也是重要的深海搬运沉积方式。4种最常见的底流分别为:温盐流、风力驱动底流、深海潮汐及斜压流,牵引构造可用来区分这4种底流形成的再改造砂体,其中内波和内潮汐引起的斜压流再改造砂体的特征仍需深入研究。仅通过地震剖面与地质体形态无法识别块体搬运和底流再改造砂体类型,岩心和露头观察是唯一能鉴别其沉积相特征的方法。短期事件,如地震、海啸、热带风暴等,可能只持续几小时或者几天,却是沉积物滑塌的重要触发机制,比长达数千年低水位沉积期更为重要。

Dependences of the order parameter （ A ） and the electron effective mass （me^＊） on the temperature for the chlorine halide superconductor are determined in the present work. The high values of the pressure （p1 = 320 gPa andp2 = 360 gPa）, for which the critical temperature is equal to [Tc]m = 30.6 K and [Tc]p2 = 41.5 K, are taken into consideration. It is found that the dependence of the order parameter on the temperature deviates from the predictions of the classical Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer theory, due to the existence of the significant strong- coupling and retardation effects. The values of the order parameter, for the temperature close to zero Kelvin, are equal to [A（0）]p1 = 4.89 meV and [A（0）]p2 = 6.82 meV. The obtained results allowed next to calculate the dimensionless ratio r△ = 2A（O）/kBTc, which is equal to 3.71 and 3.81 in respect to pl and p2. In the last step, it is proven that the electron effective mass is weakly dependent on the temperature in the area of the existence of the superconducting state and reaches its maximum at the critical temperature. For the considered values of the max ＊ max pressure, we obtain [me^＊]pl^max = 1.69me and [me^＊]p2^max =1.78me, where the symbol me denotes the electron band mass.

We synthesized NiO-loaded TiO2porous p-n junctions by electrophoretic enhanced micro arc oxidation（EEMAO） technique which is a relatively simple and new method for producing composite *** structure,chemical composition,and surface morphology of the NiO—TiO2coatings were investigated by X-ray diffraction（XrD）,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）,and scanning electron microscopy（SEM） techniques,*** efficiency of the samples was studied through measuring the decomposition rate of 4-chlorophenol under UV *** showed that the coatings mainly consisted of anatase,rutile,and nickel oxide *** was observed that a finer surface morphology,*** pores,was obtained at lower ***,the amount of nickel oxide loaded to the TiO2host increased with the *** NiO-TiO2composite coatings showed a higher photoactivity than pure TiO2coatings revealing the effective role of NiO in decreasing the recombination rate of photogenerated electrons and *** maximum photocatalytic reaction rate constants for TiO2and NiO—TiO2samples were obtained as 0.0064 and 0.0131 min-1,*** also found that there was an optimum concentration of NiO where a maximum photocatalytic activity was achieved.A correlation between growth variables,structure,and photocatalytic efficiency was established.

Surface mines continue to implement highwalls for several reasons, such as increasing recovery, improving margins, and justifying higher stripping ratios. Highwall stability is a complex issue that is dependent upon a variety of mining and geologic factors, and a safe design is necessary for a successful surface operation. To improve highwall stability, it is important to understand the connection between local geology and blasting. Explosives are employed throughout the mining industry for primary rock breakage. There are a number of controlled blasting techniques that can be implemented to improve highwall *** include line drilling, smooth wall blasting, trim blasting, buffer blasting, air decking, and presplitting. Each of these techniques have associated advantages and disadvantages. Understanding local geology is necessary for selecting the appropriate controlled blasting technique. Furthermore, understanding the limitations and conditions for successful implementation of each technique is necessary. A discussion of the impact of geologic conditions on highwall stability is provided. Additionally, discussion is provided for the successful incorporation of the controlled blasting techniques listed above, and the associated mining and geologic factors that influence the selection and design of controlled blasting ***, a new methodology is proposed.

Because of the current depletion of high grade reserves, beneficiation of low grade ore, tailings produced and tailings stored in tailing ponds is needed to fulfill the market demand. Selective flocculation is one alternative process that could be used for the beneficiation of ultra-fine material. This process has not been extensively used commercially because of its complex dependency on process parameters. In this paper, a selective flocculation process, using synthetic mixtures of hematite and kaolinite in different ratios, was attempted, and the ad-sorption mechanism was investigated by Fourier transform infrared （FTIr） spectroscopy. A three-layer artificial neural network （ANN） model （4？4？3） was used to predict the separation performance of the process in terms of grade, Fe recovery, and separation efficiency. The model values were in good agreement with experimental values.

The effect of delay time with constant first finishing pass temperature (800℃) has been investigated by means of multi-pass torsion tests on Ti-Nb-IF steel. All the tests have been carried out at a strain rate of 2 s-1 with 11 passes and 0.3 strain each pass. During the final pass, dynamic recrystallization occurs to a degree that depends on the delay time. In short interpass time (1 s) and at these temperatures (T≤800℃) there is not enough time to start static recrystallization, therefore, accumulation of strain occurs and after some passes, strain reaches a critical strain for starting dynamic recrystallization. In this study, the changes of mean flow stress during each pass and also the microstructural observation confirms that dynamic recrystallization occurs after some passes in ferrite phase of this steel. Alternating-current losses in a two-layer superconducting cable, each layer being composed of 15 closely-spaced rectangular wires made up of second-generation superconductors when the ends of wires are coated by either a non-magnetic or strong ferromagnetic material having a U profile is numerically investigated. Computations are carried out through the finite-element method. The alternating-current losses do not increase significantly if the relative permeability of the coating is increased three orders of magnitude, provided that the current amplitude is less than half of the critical current in a superconducting wire. However, the losses are much higher for ferromagnetic coating if the amplitude of the applied current oscillating at 50 Hz is close to the critical current. The ferromagnetic coating is seen to accumulate the magnetic field lines normally on its surfaces, while the field lines are parallel to the long axes of the wires, leading to more significant flux penetration in the coated r.g.ons. This facilitates a uniform low-loss current flow in the uncoated r.g.ons of the wires. In contrast, coating with a non-magnetic material gives rise to a considerably smaller current flow in the uncoated r.g.ons, whereas the low-loss flow is maintained in the coated r.g.ons. Moreover, the current flows in opposite directions in the coated and uncoated r.g.ons, where the direction in each r.g.on is converse for the two materials.

Single crystals of red Tl2S5 were prepared by a special modified vertical Bridgman and Stockbarger technique. This growth was performed in our laboratory. The influences of temperature on the electrical conductivity, Hall mobility, carrier concentration, and thermoelectric power (TEP) were carried out in the temperature range 277–413K. Throughout these measurements, various physical parameters such as effective mass of charge carriers, carrier mobility, diffusion coefficient, and the relaxation time for both majority and minority carriers were found.
